“What a wonderful brunch. We shared the breakfast platter and it was plenty for three people! Well we did have a couple of extras like a spinach boreck and an extra Simit!
Not only is the food wonderful, but the service and the beautiful personalities of the owner and her son and everybody working there was delightful.

“My wife & I have been eating at The Broken Yolk Cafe in Irvine for several years now and we absolutely love the delicious food and the wonderful service, particularly via our regular server Alicia. She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

“Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning after staying at a nearby hotel, picked from search and looking at reviews. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious and our server was spectacular!! Everything came out fairly quickly although it was busy, it was fresh and tasty. The burrito is flavorful but I just wish there was 10% more of my choice protein, this time it was ribeye. I ordered a side of chorizo chili which was perfect with my fries. “I live in AZ and come to Santa Ana to visit my daughter & her husband. We always come here for breakfast during my visit. We love this restaurant! On my last visit, I had a slight mishap in the parking lot. When we came in, Lulu took us quickly to a nearby booth. She was our server, and was wonderful! So very kind and helpful. The manager, Mauro, came over to me with an ice pack, which was very thoughtful and caring. Their food is fantastic, very delicious! Several members of the staff remember us and are so friendly! Will be going again very soon!“

“This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.“

He seated me and asked what would I like to drink. He served me the kettle of coffee and brought me the milks that came with it. Soon after Fernanda my server came by and asked for my order, she was a delight as she was calm, patient and overall very polite. My food came in fast and delicious. They have a huge variety of classic Chinese and Taiwanese breakfast items at a fair price. There is plenty of indoor seating and the staff are friendly. Only complaint is that the food can come out a bit slow though.“
