50 Best Breakfast Restaurants near Orange

“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? Not only is the food wonderful, but the service and the beautiful personalities of the owner and her son and everybody working there was delightful.

“I stopped by this morning because I was craving some really good pancakes, and they definitely hit the spot! 🥞 My breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was fresh and perfect. It was nice and quiet before the morning rush, which made it even more enjoyable.

“This was my first visit to Shorty'z and I was not disappointed.
The place was clean, the atmosphere was casual and was greeted promptly.
I ordered the Turkey Omelet which was recommended by Shorty himself. Very nice guy. Good recommendation. It was very good. The hash browns were cooked perfectly as well.
My Google maps said they are known for their breakfast burritos. I'll have to try that next time I visit Shorty'z.

The Law (AB-3336): Passed as the Fair Food Delivery Act, this mandate ensures third-party delivery orders are safely closed with tamper-evident packaging. You guys need to follow this law when dealing with third party orders. None of my food or drinks had a seal and I'm so upset I couldn't enjoy my meal.“

“Had lunch at EggBred Brea and everything was so good! The sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was so satisfying, especially with the perfectly runny yolk. I'm a huge truffle fan, so the truffle crunch burger was definitely one of my favorites. The ribeye burrito was just as good, the ribeye was tender and packed with flavor. Such a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch!

“I have had The One Breakfast Burrito 3 different times now and each time I have been blown away! Now prior to this I wasn't into Breakfast burritos. They were either all half cooked hash browns and lot of eggs with little to no meat. Or all the ingredients like the meat and cheese were on one side and the eggs on the other ingredients were on the other side and dry with no consistency. I love The One Breakfast Burrito!! The ingredients are fresh and they way it is built you will have meat, eggs, tater tots, cheese and sauce in every bite! The tater tots gives this burrito a different texture and taste. No dry half done potatoes. And the service is great, I oder and go pick of from Doordash.“

The tortilla almost seems homemade. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. Came down from the bay area to try them out. Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts. Vietnamese coffee, great and you can ask for it even stronger. Ask for the secret sauce. Low quantities of donuts at 11:00 am.“

“I live in AZ and come to Santa Ana to visit my daughter & her husband. We always come here for breakfast during my visit. We love this restaurant! On my last visit, I had a slight mishap in the parking lot. When we came in, Lulu took us quickly to a nearby booth. She was our server, and was wonderful! So very kind and helpful. The manager, Mauro, came over to me with an ice pack, which was very thoughtful and caring. Their food is fantastic, very delicious! Several members of the staff remember us and are so friendly! Will be going again very soon!“

So let’s start off by saying we were in town for a surprise birthday and wanted to grab breakfast before we hit the road back to Arizona. We saw the reviews and decided it would be worth the 20 minute drive to try before we head home. The place is small but it such a personal homey vibe. Right when you get there they’re smiling and greeting you like family. Their cafe de olla is probably the best I’ve ever had. I ordered it hot since I thought the iced one wouldn’t taste as great but my husband ordered the iced version so I could try it. It was as amazing as well. Cold but doesn’t sacrifice the flavor, it’s just as amazing as the hot version. I literally ordered the iced one to go for the trip home it was so good. Food and service were 20/10. I ordered the chilaquiles green and I see exactly why it’s the most popular. Chips were still crunchy if that’s what you prefer and the taste was phenomenal. Literally put myself into a food coma it was THAT amazing. My husband on the other hand is a healthily gains geek (I know boo jk) and ordered from their muscle and energy menu which they have. The Buff bunny bowl and Christian Guzman muscle builder were the most popular. My husband ordered the later and also said it was 10/10. We were constantly checked on throughout, they were always helpful and kind. Even kept the cafe de olla refilled throughout breakfast. This place is a must stop, I’ll be dreaming about this breakfast for weeks to come. 20/10 recommend.“
