“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “This is a great local Mom and Pop restaurant. The staff is very friendly and courteous, the menu has great breakfast and lunch offerings. The food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients and good sized portions, the prices are very reasonable a good valuefor yourmoney. 😋 They have a country fried steak and eggs that is so delicious 😋 I get it almost every time I visit, Oh you've got to try the pancakes, Soooo delicious. 😋
The restaurant is very clean and well maintained, the owners a husband and wife team, are very friendly and they are very attentive, my coffee and water were always kept full.

“My wife & I have been eating at The Broken Yolk Cafe in Irvine for several years now and we absolutely love the delicious food and the wonderful service, particularly via our regular server Alicia. She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

“This was my first visit to Shorty'z and I was not disappointed.
The place was clean, the atmosphere was casual and was greeted promptly.
I ordered the Turkey Omelet which was recommended by Shorty himself. Very nice guy. Good recommendation. It was very good. The hash browns were cooked perfectly as well.
My Google maps said they are known for their breakfast burritos. I'll have to try that next time I visit Shorty'z.

“Had lunch at EggBred Brea and everything was so good! The sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was so satisfying, especially with the perfectly runny yolk. I'm a huge truffle fan, so the truffle crunch burger was definitely one of my favorites. The ribeye burrito was just as good, the ribeye was tender and packed with flavor. Such a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch!

The service, the portions, the price and the ambiance were all really very good. Our server, Michael, was very personable and friendly and we wanted to make sure that we left a good review for them. Definitely coming back. Must try if you’re in Tustin. Just try and come early coz they can get really busy after 9am and on weekends.“

You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorites are the chilaquiles, cafe de olla, and pancakes. Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts.
