“Had a great time here! My husband and I love to come here and play pool. We shared an appetizer platter (with TONS of things on it- fried pickles, onion rings, fried macaroni, mozzarella sticks, chicken tendies) and wings,. We also enjoyed some yummy drinks. The atmosphere is lively, music is upbeat and plenty of energy (definitely on the louder side, but part of the fun!). With tons of TVs to catch the game, it’s a great spot for sports lovers and large groups looking to hang out, eat, drink, and have a good time. Definitely a fun spot for a night out!“

“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “Really enjoyed our meal at Lanta Thai Fusion! We had the Drunken Noodles with tofu and Panang Curry with tofu, and both were delicious, flavorful, and had a great balance of spice. Their lunch special is also a really good deal, especially since it’s available on weekends as well, and comes with a nice variety of sides. Everything tasted fresh, portions were generous, and the service and atmosphere made it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. 10/1 update: Tried the Turkey and Ham panini, very warm and delicious. Great with Cholula hot sauce. Oatmeal raisin cookie was okay as I don’t like raisins. 10/10 no notes would recommend.

10/8 update: Tried the Chicken Primavera Melt, bit tangy and as if you’re eating pasta in a panini form. I’d assume it would be even better with hot sauce but I was too lazy to grab it. Chocolate cookie was immaculate. 10/10 no notes, would recommend.“

“I was excited to find a pupusa place near work. I loved them when i was in El Salvador. We came the first day but were told the wait would be 45 min. We came back earlier the second day and it wasn’t too crowded. We each ordered two pupusas. My favorite was chorizo. The price was reasonable. I’d come back again.“

“This place takes you back in time. Old naugahyde booths, excellent tasty food, good prices on food and beverages. The left side of the establishment has booths and tables for sit down eating. The right side through a passageway from the left or from other separate front doors is the bar area with more booths, a big bar, tall center tables and video screens for all the key sporting events. Many beers on tap. Table service is provided in the bar area as well. This is a hidden gem in the city of Orange. The bar side is obviously louder than the restaurant side. The Chile Verde (plate or burrito) as well as the Super Tostada are the BOMB!“

“Oh man where to begin! This place is a hidden gem that I was recently taken to. Ever since going my first time about a month ago, I’ve been back 5 times! The bluefin nigiri is probably the best nigiri I’ve had in Orange County (The bluefin keeps us coming back week after week). If I were to recommend anything, it would have to be the bluefin. The yellowtail and salmon nigiri are just as amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything here—the fish is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and each roll and nigiri is so unique in its own way and flavor profile. They are also incredibly generous with portion size and price! We love sitting at the bar because it makes the experience so much better!

Apart from the food, what also keeps me keeping back is the amazing hospitality and service! Whenever we walk in, we are greeted by the entire staff—the sushi chefs, hosts, and servers. The staff take great pride in ensuring that guests are taken care of, and they genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests on a personal and grounded level. A special mention to Torrance, Jay, and Robbin (The sushi chefs) who consistently put out amazing nigiri and rolls for us! Another mention to Debbie and Diana, who are so incredibly warm, friendly, and hospitable—providing the best service in town!“

“Quick late breakfast here, didn’t know they have at this location since its office building. Parking was abit challenging but got a 30min quick parking right at the entrance. Nice but abit hot inside but smell is nice from all the baked goods. Clean and very bright with both inside and patio seating area. Ordered the chili (nicely homemade feels like cooking and very delish with nicely portion and the price tag is not bad at all). And also got PARISIAN w/ bun that had applewood bacon, pasture raised over medium egg. organic tomato, organic arugula, shaved Parmesan, basil aioli (quite delish and well made & nice portion). For drink, I got peach tea and it was very refreshing and greatly tasty. Staff here is nice and very accommodating. Overall great cafe with good vibe and great staff and tasty foods - got to say WAY better feeling and ease then the GG location, almost didn’t want to come in but very glad that I did, great late breakfast for sure.“

Nice balance of herbal and meaty taste, with slightly fatty mouth feel, and hot enough to cook my bean sprouts. 👍 They also let me order the kid-sized pho with whichever meat I wanted (combo style), which I really appreciated on my diet. Egg rolls were fried fresh and hot.
