Of the other local poke places, we’ve never had yellowtail be offered. “If you're looking for an authentic Mexican food experience, you can look no further than El Coyotito. Handmade tortillas that are warm and perfect, excellent seasoning on the variety of meat options I tried, and all the favorites like mulitas, tortas, and mariscos.

I had the chicken combination plate and the shredded chicken was marinated to perfection, the lettuce and pico fresh, and the rice and beans flavorful and not bland, unlike several other authentic Mexican food spots in OC. Its easy to miss since its in a shopping center off the beaten path, but its well worth a visit.“

“I can't explain or describe how amazing the food is here. The filet minon, mushroom in a pepper sauce is unbelievably great! Try the plum wine for a nice after dinner treat. Wait till you try the lobster platter and we were lucky enough to there when they had a fresh clams. They made a dish that was so good!!“

“One of my favorite things to order here is the Mahi Mahi with Spicy Rice. The Mahi Mahi is cooked really well, has a nice flavor, and goes perfectly with the rice and the other sides. I’ve tried different combinations, but I always end up coming back to this one.

The Spicy Rice is definitely the highlight for me. If you love spicy food, you really need to try it. It has a lot of flavor and a serious kick, not just a little bit of heat. I personally love spicy food, so this is exactly my kind of side and probably my favorite thing on the plate.

But I would definitely give a warning: do not order the Spicy Rice if you can’t handle spicy food. It is actually spicy, not the kind of “spicy” that is barely noticeable. If you have a low spice tolerance, you might regret it. 😂 For me though, the hotter the better, so I love it.

The portions are also filling, and I like that you can pair the fish with different sides depending on what you’re craving. Everything on my plate tasted fresh and flavorful. We enjoy most everything but 1 in our family is allergic 2 avocados 🥑. Mor 4 Us. But they always go out of way to keep dish and prep in kitchen away from anything potentially dangerous. That's a whole nother level of quality service!
Was really cool when they showed off just how fast they make the Seven Sea's taste so delicious in kitchen area. They r blade masters. Amazing amount of seafood prepared any way You wish. Suggest menu items tho. Mite not seem like it but lots of catering and special occasions have been recommended and totally enjoyable. The presentation is artful. Fyi- This is 1 of last restaurants 2 survive last several decades in Old Town Orange 🍊...cuz has no competition at their level of offerings, quality, intuitive Staff, Super Chefs, & Happy management. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F.
