My favorite items were the Vietnamese steak and eggs (super tender meat and flavorful sauce) and the Cajun seafood platter (tender crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels). The $4 extra for live/fresh seafood is totally worth it. The seafood platter comes with delicious bread, which was perfect when dipped in the sauce! The crispy calamari was delicious (batter wasn’t too thick). The hot stone pho was average. I personally didn’t notice a significant difference between pho in a hot stone bowl vs regular pho. My bf loved the garlic noodles, but I thought it needed more flavor. All the items we got I would probably give 5/5 stars except for the pho and the garlic noodles, which I would give 3/5 stars“
“We had the BEST time at Silky Sullivan’s Taco and Trivia Night. About 20 volunteers from Robyne’s Nest came together and they took such great care of us. The service impeccable. The Trivia MC was excellent. The food was great. We will be back- maybe this time it will be for Bingo night! Thank you for making our night out so amazing!“
“I love this small town diner feel. We got to sit at the counter where the action was. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Good deal for the price. The breakfast specials and lunch specials are worth coming for.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu (my son had the fish and chips) was still quite a bit of food. Everyone was so sweet and chit chatting with him like one of the grown ups. Everyone was so friendly.“

“My family and I live close by and we finally got to try Black Angus. When we walked in, we were greeted by our host Justin. He was super friendly and took time to show us the best items on the menu. My wife's ribeye was delicious, and my son loved the artichoke dip! We were very pleased by the service that night and we will be back soon!“
“The live crawfish boil was possibly made in a Vietnamese fusion style which was buttery sweet spicy. The crawfish were fresh, firm, and great. The razor clams didn't quite seem as good, not sure about freshness but a bit salty.While the service is kind and fast, the food can be hit or miss. The atmosphere shows that it's still under renovation, the decor doesn't look to be finished just yet.“
“This place has been on my try list for a while and finally got a chance with my friends. It was a first for all of us. The service was good and attentive. The food was good, I enjoyed the balance of the mango salad and the sauce on the snails. The squid and the hot pot was okay. Definitely a place I would come back to try other dishes.“
“Of the remaining Sizzlers that are around, this Lake Forest location is by far the best! The atmosphere is modern, light, and cheerful, as opposed to most others that are dark and aged. The food is delicious, and the salad bar is very well maintained in real time with dedicated salad bar staff. I LOVE the sslad bar. The wait staff are attentive. The customers are a nice crowd. I drive the extra miles to visit this location every time! Yummy ?“
“The food was ok. The disappointment started with the Chicha morada drink. I was told that it was home made but unfortunately mine was water down.The service was definitely great the young ladies working were very attentive and always with a smile.“
“Every time my mom and I come to this location of Sizzler we are consistently impressed. The unlimited salad bar is always fresh, and maintained—we saw people cleaning it and refilling it regularly! The steak we order is always hot and perfectly cooked, and the service is always attentive. I have no complaints whatsoever. We went to a smaller chain a month back that boasts 60+ years in the business and we were so disappointed, it’s nice to always see Sizzler’s established quality control in action. Totally made up for our bad experience elsewhere!“

“I really like the spin on fusion and Poke at this restaurant. The fish is really fresh and tasty. Serving are generous. Poke burritos are easy to gift and people love then. For sure try it again. Can easily see ut from Brookhurst street on the north west side.“
“The food was delicious. The salsa and chips were so flavorful with out being over spicy. I had the SHRIMP ENCHILADAS and they were fantastic. The posted prices are quite a bit off from what they are at the restaurant. I didn't know if I would like their white rice but I ended up enjoying it. The service was slow but she was working alone. What I would change: have fountain drinks with refills. Overall, great experience.“
“During the time I walked in there was beautiful weather outside ; wide open were the restaurant's doors to peep' the scene. I ordered the London special and enjoyed it! I was given a package of malt vinegar for the fish along with tartar sauce the cooks offer too. "Absolutely nothing wrong with that"Later, a friend told me the place probably has a chain of restaurants scattered across parts of the UK and other areas of the US. It's perfect for Fountain Valley.“
