“Second great meal. It’s a simple place but don’t let that fool you. The food is high-end freshly prepared. Great Neapolitan style pizzas. I had the pork osso buco over rustic mashed potatoes and spinich with a pan reduction sauce to die for. My wife had the (very large) chicken breast portobello over the potatoes and Spinich with another pan reduction sauce to die for. Shared half a huge salad. Nice glass of wine. Finished and people were waiting outside to get a table, happy to talk while waiting. It’s cash only so bring cash, or ATM inside.“

“My friends and I were staying at the Pasea Hotel to celebrate her birthday and we ate breakfast at Lorea for the two days we were there. Our server, Gina, was AMAZING. Not only is she super cute and sweet, she also makes THE BEST drinks. If you ever go there and Gina is working, you have to order coffee or tea. She is reallyyyyy good at making them. We certainly were happy we did. It was very good food and we decided since there were four of us to try several dishes. We had no regrets, the staff handled the Friday night dinner rush perfectly. Everything went well and all dishes were properly prepared and delicious. The entire service experience was equally impressive. If we ever return to this area, we will be back. “Dining experience was fantastic. The atmosphere, the environment, the service, and the food was delicious. My husband ordered the Wilson Burger, I ordered the Bison Bolognese pasta, and our daughter had the Mac and cheese. We sat outside near the pool area, it was chilly but they provided heaters which was absolutely a delight and we enjoyed ourselves.“

The prices are so reasonable and good for how good the quality is and how filling it is. I got the beef and chicken plate and I usually eat a lot, but I was so full with a quarter of it still left. This was 1000% a solid teriyaki bowl and will come back for more.“

When I came back to the area and rediscovered this place, I was so grateful to be able to still get great food at a reasonable price. Burritos are tasty and not too heavy. “I've been going here for years! Now I take my granddaughters. They love it! Mike, Paul and Pauline treat us like family. My husband orders aromatic shrimp with walnuts, orders no glaze...he's diabetic. They always remember! I have several favorites: Mongolian Beef, Chicken with vegatables.

“Wahoo's can add 7,000 items to the menu if they want, but the undisputed heavyweight champion of the franchise is still the crispy fish taco. Years ago it was flounder (I think), now it's pollock, but whatever fish is volunteering for the cause these days, it's still carrying the entire operation on its back.

I ordered two tacos and a fish/beef bowl. The tacos? Good. Dependably good. The kind of good that reminds you why you walked through the door in the first place.

The bowl was a tale of two proteins. The fish was okay—perfectly edible, no complaints. The beef, however, tasted like it may have been sourced from the final resting place of a retired baseball glove. Was it beef? Was it sporting equipment? Science may never know.

Service was very good—friendly, fast, and the best part of the experience not wrapped in a tortilla.

Total Bill: $43 including tip.

Would I eat here again? If circumstances required it, absolutely. Tacos? Yes. Everything else? Let's not get carried away.“
