We went here as part of our Pho Crawl throughout OC and tasted the followings - Pho 79, Pho Nic (2nd place), Pho RedBo, Pho Kuroushi and Pho Lab. This one won hand down. The place is clean, modern and wonderful wait staff... But we are here for PHO, so here is the review... First, the broth - superb - rich but very balanced. Meat cuts - plenty and wonderfully tender. Noodles - on point - right amount of chewiness and held up well even after 15 minutes. Condiments were served on cute, little individual plate and one really cool thing - the scallions were shredded in long strands (vs. simply chopped)... The price point is really great - better quality than either of the Wagyu's beef joint (about 7-8 bucks less). Run here!”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”

“Food delicious. Service slow depending on how you like your service. I think they were what I wanted but they reminded me more of how a lot of European servers are. Basically they take your order at the top and leave you alone unless you want them to come to you for something.
They didn't never check in but they weren't that stereotypical check on you every 5 minutes and give you constant refills and chit chat type of service you would find at a Red Robin or other American chain.
I prefer this kind of server personally but to each their own.”

The salmon dinner was moist, flat iron steak salad was tender and fresh, the vegetarian pasta was flavorful, all other entrées were delicious. The appetizers, spicy tuna stack, brussel sprouts and steak tartar were a delicious intro to precede our entrees. All perfectly prepared. We had two children with us and they enjoyed their meals which arrived promptly. Alvaro made our birthday and thanksgiving celebration so special. We will definitely return to Jolies for their fabulous service, view and food! Kudos to everyone at jolies who work together to provide thee Best!”

The best part they always remember me but, honestly I think it’s because my very large brown and white standArd poodle who actually sits in the both with me. “Been coming here for over 15 years. Great selection of dishes prepared with consistent flavors and fast service. Never had a bad meal in anything I've tried, although the curry could be kicked up a notch. Staff is attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable to portions served. Hard to beat the lunch deals too! Their hot & sour soup is the best around. Often have the large bowl with a side of brown rice as a lunch meal.

Vegetarian options: Several dishes on the dinner menu that are vegetable based and you can request a protein, including tofu, of your liking.”

Service was fast, english was spoken clearly at my table with I guess Thai (?) spoken behind the counter. I had Chicken Basil Thai Fried Noodle plate and Tom Yum Noodle Bowl. I could not finish it all which is a good thing for takeaway. Both have a light spicy foundation that was not overwhelming and sufficient for lighter Thai palates. As a local customer, I will return.”

“A phenomenal dining experience! Being fairly new to Shabu / Hot Pot going in seemed very intimidating especially after looking at the menu. But once our server Jimmy came over he took care of everything. He perfectly was able to guide us to making the correct choices for ourselves, and was an absolutely blast to be served by!! The broth was truly the star of the show at dinner.

They had an amazing balance of flavors and Jimmy even helped us season our broths and our meats for us! I rarely remember my servers name, but I'll always remember the experience here being served by Jimmy.

It is fairly cost efficient factoring in the quality and has reasonably priced alcohol. I was SHOCKED how empty the location was on a Saturday night around 7PM. This may be attributed to the fact the the parking comes up quick and seems limited if it was truly busy.

Summary: An amazing experience worth trying! Put your faith in the server if you are intimidated and you won't be disappointed. Ask for Jimmy!”

“Wonderful birthday dinner here with our good friends. The best wedge salad I have ever had and I order it at every restaurant. The short ribs melt in your mouth. And a surprise birthday cake and card from the staff. The small cake was a masterpiece. I would enclose a photo but can’t figure out how to do it. Oh did I mention the strawberry lime spread for the homemade focaccia bread. The service was superb and the atmosphere was amazing.”

Hands down love everything about this place from the food, service to the atmosphere. My only complaint would be to add some sort of seafood dish for the kids menu (grilled shrimp or a grilled piece of fish) not all kids are picky eaters mine especially loves lobster, shrimp, octopus, and clams.

The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.”

Not so here, build your own style. You want chili oil and ponzu because that’s your roll, then it’s what you get. Parking: The spots directly in front are 20 minute, other parking wasn’t an issue on a Monday at 7pm.”

The husband and wife team (I didn't know this info until I followed their Instagram), who run the place, are incredibly welcoming and always available to answer any questions I have about add-ons and flavors. The restaurant itself was the cleanest fast food place I’ve ever been in including the restrooms! Our food was hot and fresh. The buns were soft and tasty and did not fall apart, the burger had a delicious charbroiled taste and aroma. I ordered the hash rounds which crispy and hot just the way I like them. The restaurant is not big, but has a large table in the middle for a larger group and some smaller tables for groups of 2 to 6, and some bar seating. We were warmly greeted and could sit anywhere. We ordered two ramen soups, a truffle mushroom variety and a spicy beef version. With both, we chose them as a combo with gyoza and spicy tuna, respectively. The soups came quickly and looked and tasted amazing. They played country music, which was a bit unexpected. But still 5 stars for food and service. Overall, a place we have bookmarked for our next trip.”

“Food delicious. Service slow depending on how you like your service. I think they were what I wanted but they reminded me more of how a lot of European servers are. Basically they take your order at the top and leave you alone unless you want them to come to you for something.
They didn't never check in but they weren't that stereotypical check on you every 5 minutes and give you constant refills and chit chat type of service you would find at a Red Robin or other American chain.
I prefer this kind of server personally but to each their own.”

“so we were there Tuesday night and had employees friends and customers in a small gathering and needed space for 20 to 30 people... they set the cantina up for us and it was absolutely over the top... we ended with 24 people as many could not make it or got sick or tired from going to sema but this group and this facility was amazing... I did not ask for a price but wanted a buffet of fajitas and drinks and a couple tvs but what we got was so much more and the price could have been double as they took care of my group and let us stay for 4 or 5 hours and it was something I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice gathering and close to the airport helped when many had plane cancelled and came in late. thank you so much for the great place and party and service and I have recommended your place to several people at the show... I hope you get it repaired and fixed quick because I will come again and see the menu and restaraunt next time.... thank you is not enough but until next time that is what I will give. praying that your cantina is back to 100 percent quick.”

“The waitress was so great! The food came out so fast and was delicious and our drinks were perfect! Definitely try the spicy chicken egg rolls and the mahi mahi tacos! And they let your furry friends dine, too! Was a wonderful spot!
