“A good friend recommended that I visit the Wet Dog Tavern for the first time, and I was immediately blown away by the interiors. Everything was clean and modern, and I kept telling my friend about how I liked that the front windows were big and unobstructed by signage. I like being able to see inside of a bar from the patio, otherwise I feel disconnected from what's happening inside. Being able to watch the Karaoke going on inside is a huge plus, and I think it's a smart way to attract foot traffic into a bar too. Everyone inside was so happy too!“

“This place is the absolute best spot to relax by the ocean. We sat at a table right on the sand with the perfect view for sunset.

Everything we ordered was fantastic. The nachos were piled high with fresh toppings and made for the perfect meal to share. We also really enjoyed the burgers and sandwiches, which came with a huge portion of fries. It was a perfect afternoon out.“

“This place is an absolute gem in Costa Mesa. I stopped in for a drink and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local spot. It is vibrant, laid back, and full of character.

I really enjoyed the setup. The walls are covered in so many unique stickers that you could spend an hour just looking at them. It makes for such a cool, personal vibe while you enjoy your beer.

Everything was perfect for a relaxing night out. Whether you are grabbing a pint or just hanging out at the bar, it is a great time. I will definitely be back.“

“Murphy’s is an amazing little hidden and charming gem in Belmont Shore! I was looking for a place to watch the NCAA Men’s Volleyball Semi-Finals recently so I could see my Long Beach State team in action. I found Murphy’s and the “Entertainment Director” was SUPER AWESOME to find this game on tv and make it possible for me to watch! He was a rock star for doing this and everyone there from employees to those hanging out -absolutely the best! Great food, atmosphere, sports, and fun! Thank you so much, Murphy’s!! “I haven’t visited Mutt Lynch’s since the mid 90’s. I spent many days / nights shooting pool , listening to the Jukebox and drinking cold beers. It was so great to visit this month and meet great people and relive great memories. Thanks to Ross & Sara (h)and Victor for your kindness and helping me to feel at home. “The Harp Inn is a gem. Great live music, super friendly staff (including the owner), and an all-around welcoming vibe. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The Irish food is excellent — highly recommend the Irish breakfast. They also have a great outdoor patio.“

“Great spot on base that’s absolutely worth the visit. Getting in is straightforward. Just show your ID at the guard gate and you’re good to go.

Once inside, the vibe at Fiddler’s Green Pub is laid back, friendly, and surprisingly lively for a military base pub. Prices are very reasonable for both food and drinks, which makes it an easy choice whether you’re grabbing a casual lunch or winding down after a long day.

The standout for me was the onion rings: crispy, golden, and seriously addictive. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Overall, a fun, welcoming place with good food, good prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back.“

“Dinner at the Alley for my birthday. Got the Steak Diane , cooked perfectly and Brandy sauce was amazing. My partner got the Cajun Chicken pasta, which looked amazing and tasted really good. Waitress was great with refilling drinks and checking in with our table. The only thing I didnt like is the noise level is loud bc there's a bar next to the restaurant dining tables, which you had to talk louder to hear other people talking. Other than that , would definitely come back as I want to try their other dishes.“

“If you are into dive bars, this is a good one. It's actually really chill inside and the patrons that come here are just looking to have a good time and maybe chat with some cool bikini bartenders.
We usually stop in after a game for some pool and drinks and have always had great service and not too long of a wait for a game of pool. Drinks are average to good prices and the girls are quick with the service.
Solid 5 stars for the atmosphere and service.“

“Great food and drinks, with a solid selection of both house beers and options from other breweries. The cocktails were refreshing, and the macaroni and cheese absolutely lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers, and we even saw employees sampling beer while we were still waiting for our order. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent, but the service needs improvement.“
