“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“The Ria is one of the best pizza spots in southern California. Their Detroit Style pan pizzas are one of a kind. I recently tried their seasonal Peach pizza - it had the perfect balance of flavor, and something you wouldn't find at your typical restaurant. I plan to go back again soon!“

“Food delicious. Service slow depending on how you like your service. I think they were what I wanted but they reminded me more of how a lot of European servers are. Basically they take your order at the top and leave you alone unless you want them to come to you for something.
They didn't never check in but they weren't that stereotypical check on you every 5 minutes and give you constant refills and chit chat type of service you would find at a Red Robin or other American chain.
I prefer this kind of server personally but to each their own.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

The pickled onions... my only comment is that oregano should be an accent to enhance flavor... it shouldn't be oregano juice with pickled onions. less is more. When the herb is overpowering an onion? It's a bit much. It's too much. And make it an OPsandwichtortas or burritos especially when prime cuts are being ordered. That oregano would kill the suave of any meat.. .(PS - i Love Oregano)

“Wow, wow, wow! I've been meaning to come to this place, and I finally got the chance to go for my birthday. My bestie and I both ordered the Yamasaki Set. It was truly worth every penny! During our meal, I texted my husband that "we had to come back, so he can have the same experience that I did." It was THAT good. Our set starts off with the seafood salad (came with little white fishies, scallops, and salmon sashimi, 5 pc sashimi (smoked albacore, halibut, tuna, kanpachi, and ankimo), 3 piece nigiri (salmon, hotate, and yellowtail), 1 toro handroll, another 3 piece nigiri (mackerel, blue fin tuna, amberjack), miso soup (one of the better miso soups I've ever had since it was more rich), 1 blue crab handroll, then finish with a otoro and uni nigiri. I'm sure some pieces tend to change, but this is what we received. OMG! This was all that I wanted for my birthday. Everything was truly amazing! I'm already thinking about going back asap! “One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!“

The food order was perfect and each person loved their entree. The salmon dinner was moist, flat iron steak salad was tender and fresh, the vegetarian pasta was flavorful, all other entrées were delicious. The appetizers, spicy tuna stack, brussel sprouts and steak tartar were a delicious intro to precede our entrees. All perfectly prepared. We had two children with us and they enjoyed their meals which arrived promptly. Alvaro made our birthday and thanksgiving celebration so special.
