“This was my first açaí bowl and it was amazing! I didn't know what to pick or how it worked, so I appreciated the woman working there helping me. I got the small build your own size. I had açaí and ube bases. I added banana, strawberry, blueberries, nuts, almond butter, Nutella, granola. There were so many options! This was great for walking around with while exploring Huntington Beach.“
“I found Moonwood Coffee in the same shopping center of a coin shop that is awesome to visit. I ended up wanting a treat and some coffee, so I walked over. The storefront has a bit of an awkward entrance away from the other business doors...but keep walking to find it because this spot is totally amazing! I ordered a cedar cinnamon iced latte and the espresso was absolutely perfectly paired with the cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. They enhanced each other perfectly and my husband who doesn't even like coffee or espresso very much was also addicted. We tried a cinnamon roll, which had this flaky dough and well balanced frosting that was not overly sweet. I was in love with that. We also tried an almond bear claw, which I thought was just ok but my husband loved it even more than the cinnamon roll. There were tons of other treats here as this is also a bakery and they do catering! I would highly recommended checking it out. The decor was also really cute and service was perfect. Just be aware the shop is small and there is minimal spots to sit and enjoy inside or on the patio, so plan on taking the treats to go ideally!“
“It’s not everyday I completely fall in love with a cafe. But Coffee Whipped is special. They have a modest menu of simple Asian classic paninis, with a Korean Vietnamese ish twist. The word “classic” being the operating word. I’ve tried most of their sandwiches now and each is exceptional. Their coffee is also delicious, silky smooth and rich. It’s hard to describe but this place is just.. comforting. From its Huntington Beach monopoly gift set, to its traditional potato chips, thinly sliced pickles, and adorable community bulletin board, it feels like this cafe is trying to start a movement. This is not one of those places you’ll just come once, you’ll crave the flavors again and again! (Try the Bok Bok chicken Panini, the bulgogi egg and cheese, the chipotle chicken and also the dalgona coffee!)“
“Luv Nutrition is one of my favorite places. So much so, I come almost once a week! Their shakes, teas, and donuts all taste amazing and exactly as described on their menu. And the best part is they don't have that powdery texture to them. The owners are wonderful people. They're so personable and treat everyone that comes in like family. If you're looking for a place for protein shakes, look no further. Luv is the easily the best in OC. Both in food and service. Go support this locally owned business!“
“My daughter and I came in here yesterday (January 21st, 2024) before iur trip to the mission. And it was pouring rain. Ambiance - this place is just so relaxing and cute. It is a small cafe but there are chairs and tables outside too. This place reminds me of my backyard very cozy. They have succulents all over the place and they also have cute merch near the counter. They also sell the coffee packs. ps. I should've bought one sugh !Service - when we came in it was busy. But it was fast and they greeted us!Service- I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Good amount pf portion and I have extra for me to eat later. Then my daughter got the sandwich the one with bacon. She was really digging it. Now, she wanted me to make her some for breakfast. hehe. Then for our drinks we got hot chocolate (for my daughter) which was really tasty, and I got a surprise coffee with almond milk which was good as well. I asked the barista to just whip me something that is very strong so I can last the whole day. And it was delivered, Thank you!ps. we got to our destination and we just realized that we actually ordered a muffin. So, I called the place and texted my receipt to the owner and I got my refund for that. I appreciate it so much! We will be back someday! As we live so far away. But for now, I just know where to go whenever we're in the area.“
“I love the vegan options available here! The apple fritter and blueberry cake donuts are my favorites. The apple fritters are always fresh and you taste the apples in every bite! The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's just a good thing that I don't have a Donuttery near me or I'd have some extra pounds on me.“
“Have to say it's the best latte. I've ever had real creamy. We're just so so good if you haven't tried this place. Definitely stopped by, and the prices are better than Starbucks.Any time i've been in the area it's a definite must have“
“EXCELLENT SERVICE ! My wife and I decided to try this cafe for lunch on Sunday after our walk around a nearby nature reserve. It's situated inside a quaint old world shopping village. We parked our wheels and then walked around the shops looking for this cafe. At around 2pm we found it and went inside. VERY CUTE ! The interior had a nice comforting look with a few Middle Eastern accents and we could see yummy food in the display case...such as Borek. A friendly cashier named Ayla helped me at the cashier desk when I ordered our lunch....2 x Flat Whites with hazelnut syrup ( Torani ), 1 x Turkish Spinach Borek and 1 x Turkish Feta Cheese Borek. There were a number of dessert choices inside the display cabinet but I thought we eat some solid food first and see how we felt. It wasn't real busy when we first arrived but all of a sudden more and more people were dropping in for coffees. Ayla made our Flat Whites and placed them on the service counter for me to collect. QUITE GOOD ! Our flat whites were well made by baristas Ayla.....they had a nice robust flavor ! After a few minutes Ayla had warmed up our Boreks and they were ready to eat. DELICIOUS ! We shared half of each one and both were delicious. DESSERT ! I saw the tray of Baklava on the cashier counter when I ordered...I love it so I ordered one and a Creme Brulee Bar for my wife. My fresh made Baklava tasted fabulous. On the other hand my wife's Creme Brûlée Bar was too firm....it needed to be served at room temperature. Overall we were very happy with our lunch visit here !“
“Everything's decently priced, the coffee's pretty good, and the staff are super friendly! They have a decent variety of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and smoothies. The place is also super clean, the only two downsides I would give it are the lack of tables and restrooms. In either case though, I understand why both of these are limited. I highly recommend this place“
“That was some really good gelato. I think I've been here once before Today I tried the pistachio, which was amazing. The prices are reasonable. But I gotta say for being such a delicious gelato with excellent reviews. The least you guys could do is get new toilets. It was disgusting in the bathroom horrible I was gonna take a picture of the toilet and post it on here but I didn't want to do that! They need to do some remodeling in that bathroom!“
“Oh my lanta a came to this place and is amazing I got number 38 and my boyfriend combo grill with vermecille somes rolls nhamiiiiiii soooo goood guys best place ever the service is amazing and the food I had no words to describe how delicious ? it is ? I will definitely come back and the spring rolls are unbelievable so happy “
“Just ordered some special coffees and açaí bowls. I asked them not to put all the landfill items like the extra spoons, coffee stoppers, jackets, stickers etc. 602 totally read the details for simplified packaging and delivered a fantastic product. Delicious coffees and food. Great job and thank you for looking at the deets.“
“FUN LUNCH ! Gee it's been a few years since we've been up in this neck of the woods. My wife and I decided to ride our bikes along the Huntington Beach boardwalk on Sunday. That meant loading up our eBikes on the tow hitch bike rack and driving about 30 minutes to Huntington State Beach. WHICH WE DID ! We arrived at a state run parking lot and paid $15 to park my wife's Telsa Y all day and as the parking attendant said.....we could come and go as often as we pleased. It had been well over 10 years since we rode bikes around here.....almost everything looked unfamiliar. Of course we were hoping to find a cafe or something where we could stop for lunch. WE RODE ! There was not much going on so far as eateries on the beach...the Ospreys were gettin' a free feed. After about 9 miles we saw in front of us a ton of eBikes parked outside a lively looking spot in the middle of nowhere....we were now at Bolsa Chico State Beach my wife informed me. My wife lived at Sunset Beach as a teenager and knew this area very well. There was certainly more than a few people here enjoyin' lunch and hanging out with a beer. LET'S DO IT ! It was almost 2.30pm when we squeezed our 2 eBikes into a small vacant space in front of the fence. I went inside to check out the menu...lots of stuff incl burger & fries which suited us fine for a late lunch. LIVE MUSIC ! I noticed a stage tent was set up and it looked like the band was getting ready to crank it up. I checked with my wife about us gettin' burgers & fries..no prob ! I fronted up at the cashier window and a lovely cashier named Patty took my order for 1 x [#9] CHEESEBURGER & FRIES ( Beef Patty, Cheese, 1000 Island Sauce, Lettuce, Onions and Pickles on a Brioche Bun with a side of Fries and 1 x [#8] BOLSA BURGER & FRIES ( Beef Patty, Cheese, 1000 Island Sauce, Bacon, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Pickles on a Brioche Bun with a side of Fries ). I paid by credit card and Patty gave me a ready buzzer. VERY IMPRESSIVE ! It was pretty busy inside the fenced confines of Beach City Provisions but we managed to nail a couple of spots at a bar height table with a view of the band. WHAM BAM ! The ready buzzer went berserk within 10 minutes and I headed over to collect our lunch order. LOOKIN' GOOD ! To be honest I wasn't expecting anything too flash but our burgers & fries looked darn good ! In fact there was a guy set up selling craft beer and more at a table close by....I don't drink and ride. PRETTY GOOD ! We enjoyed our well made burgers...fresh top quality ingredients. Gee whizz the huge fries looked hand cut and tasted great. THE BAND WAS PLAYIN' ! The band was playing some great classic rock and doing a bloody good job on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I met up with Luis the owner and told him this felt like a beer garden at an Aussie Pub. WE LOVED IT !“
“Atmosphere: 5 Adorable space! Love the combo of the plants, nursery and coffee shop vibe. Loved it! Menu variation: 2.5 There wasn't anything special here. I asked about seasonal drinks and they did offer a Mexican Mocha and Cafe De Olla, but otherwise it was a very straightforward menu. If the menu is going to be that minimal, I would like for the syrup flavors offered to at least be housemade. It justifies the lack of options a bit more. Customer Service: 4 The environment and employee was friendly and helpful. Drink quality: 4 My husband got the Cafe de Olla hot with oat milk, and I got a hot vanilla latte with oat milk. I didn't make any modifications and it was too sweet for me. I know I can easily bump down the sweetness, which would have made it a much better drink for me, but with it being my first time here, I didn't want to make modifications with my first experience. However, that caused my experience to be a bit lacking. I gave it a higher score since my husband really liked his Cafe de Olla. His drink was also too sweet for me, but he preferred it that way. Food quality: N/A They have a pastry selection here but we didn't get anything. Price worth it: 4 The hot coffees were 12 ounces with no add charge for the oat milk, and they came it $5.50 each. I think it's a pretty standard price, but I gave the little extra edge due to the lack of additional fee for the oat milk modification. Overall, I'd like to go back since I would like to see what seasonal offerings they come up with, as well as adapting the sweetener. But as it stands, this lands as a recommendation and a return visit. Enjoy your culinary adventure!“
“Everything about the tea here is super high quality. I got a hot oolong tea which came in a really nice cup with a fancy lid that you can re-seal.The flavor of the tea was amazing and each sip was really flavorful. The machine they use to make this tea must be patented or at least really high end. One of the best teas I've had.“
“Don't know how i've never reviewed this place before. But theres not much to say except its awesome. I love this whole place and their mission statement. The drinks are superb especially the sensory latte! Also, the bagels are huge and so good! I even asked them where they got them from. Prices are reasonable and both locations are amazing. Only problem is that theres not enough parking here for how many customers they got!!!“
“The barista was so nice and recommended the cinnamon roll latte which was absolutely delicious and even smelled just like a cinnamon roll. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel and it was spicy and perfect. I highly recommend this spot for the perfect cup of coffee and bite to eat!“
“A go to spot for acai and coffee downtown. The views are just as great and the place is.They have a large variation of flavors to choose from as well as a large menu of food and drink options. There’s something for everyone here and it’s definitely worth every penny.“
“Donuts are actually freshly made !! I've been here a couple times and never dissatisfied. On today's visit we came in an hour before closing and Brian attended us. He seemed pretty busy completing an in store and doordash order however he was very attentive of when we came in and checked in with us twice that he'd be with us in a minute. The man was clearly working hard and was the only one working when we asked him. He was extremely nice and helpful absolutely won't forget the service and kindness he gave us ! Thank your Brian !“
“Popbar has been a long time favorite of mine! I usually get Pistachio popGelato with Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut and White Chocolate Drizzle. I've also had a Vanilla Sundae popGelato. Sometimes I get Matcha. I would go out of my way to come here. The pistachio flavor is amazing, it's my favorite! Ok I haven't tried every single flavor to say it's the best but I have tried some others, they are good but so far I've liked pistachio the most. Green Tea is my second favorite. Vanilla is good too but not my top choice. Get any flavor you want, you can't go wrong, they'll all be good. I like that the ice cream is hard enough to stay on a stick but once you bite into it, it's nice and soft and chewy, creamy, has a good bite, not overly hard. I love that you can dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sides on top, these are a must do. I don't know any other ice cream place that sells ice cream on a stick like this, it's very unique here. This one is located in Lot 579 at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Lot 579 is a food hall and Pacific City is a shopping plaza. It's right across from Huntington State Beach, walkable distance, love that. There is a big parking structure. It's free with validation for the first 2-3 hours depending on the day you go. If you pass this time, you'll have to pay. They offer parking validation here. Service is really friendly. There is some seating inside. You could also go outside and sit at the blocks in Pacific City or just walk around and eat. The inside and outside is very nice, casual yet modern. I think price is fair accounting for inflation, I think the ice cream bar is big but not too big, a good size with the right price, worth it.“
“My coworker brought me a boba today. I have never had one before so I have him show me how to stab it with the fat straw and suck up a boba. He said to be careful or you get too many!Interesting little sticky, chewy balls that have no flavor. I like the tea part of it, not sure yet on the boba balls. I guess it's a good way to slow done your drinking!“
“I love the simple and straightforward menu of drinks that 7 Leaves has. This location has expanded and is quite large with plenty of seating and a printer for customers to use! It's always clean and tidy in here. Staff is always friendly and happy to offer samples if you are indecisive. You can order in person or on the app for pick up. Either way, both methods are very quick. My regular drink rotation is Assam milk tea l, Thai tea, Matcha Soy and House Coffee. You can't go wrong so it really depends on what you're craving.“
“Super cute spot in Huntington Beach, Whip is an absolute gem to chill at with their amazing space and offerings! I've tried their various Vietnamese Coffees with different foams and definitely enjoy the unique flavors like ube and creme brulee! They've got yummy snacks to pair with them as well along with the space to accomodate groups to hang or if you just wanna sit down for that aesthetic cafe vibe. Definitely need to check out their high tea eventually but this spot is a must check out!“
“This was my first time coming to Philz coffee in Huntington Beach. My buddy and I had just got done eating lunch and wanted to have a nice hot coffee before we headed back home. He told me that it was really good and I had to atheist try it once. The menu was way different than any other coffee shop, and their food was typical to what you would see.in a Starbucks. I got the winter bliss coffee, which, as they explained it to me being a holiday blend. Overall, it was a good coffee on the go. The staff was very nice and was eager to make our coffee experience a pleasant one, to say the least. The place was absolutely packed, and they allow you to work in there, so all the tables were full. Inside and out. We were able to find some outdoor seats unDer the cover away from the rain. The Pacific city area is really nice and walking distance away from a lot of shopping and restaurants. The parking can be validated if you purchase something. I'm the shops. Parking is not hard to find because it is a dedicated structure. I would try it again“
“The food is delicious with a great presentation. Anything you get from the menu is full of flavor and great tasting. They have different drink options to choose from all great as well. The staff is friendly and is always available for whatever you need. The decor is beautiful and is calming.Great vibe to have breakfast, brunch.“
“This place was awesome!! I kinda got carried away ordering 2 dozen donuts! Lol. Each donut was so delicious and soft and fluffy. The apple ones are great! I believe you can get a dozen with a "hole" for about $14. We also got specialty donuts and those were anywhere between $2-$4 I think. We ended up spending around $40 for 2 dozen but we also got a lot of specialty donuts shown in the picture. There were a lot of people getting donuts, and they were selling fast! My wife came here by herself the first time and they were out of apple donuts. I was glad we got a few. The inside is small but you can sit of you want. They even have seating outside if you want to enjoy your donuts outside. All the donuts were great and I'll definitely be coming back to try more!“
“Really nice coffee shop with vibrant atmosphere! Nice staff and beautiful interior. You can play some games and read a book (very nice set of books). The only thing to take into consideration - parking space is very limited, but there are a few spots along the 1st highway.“
“My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and the most delicious wedding cake I’ve ever tasted! I got so many compliments on my wedding cake and I even had guests ask me if I had extra cake left for them days after the wedding! My cake tasting was such a fun experience and customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Sweet Traders for your next event and I will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future.“
“We stumbled upon this spot in Newland Center, thinking it was just for breakfast. But wow, were we wrong! They serve up some amazing lunch sandwiches here. For under $10, you get a big, fresh sandwich that hits the spot every time. It's nothing fancy, just good, solid sandwiches at half the price of other places like Board & Brew. The staff is friendly and fast, making it a smooth visit each time. It's definitely the most underrated lunch spot around here. If you're looking for a great sandwich without breaking the bank, this is the place to go!“
“Kolache Factory Review: A Heartwarming Breakfast ExperienceDate Visited: December 16, 2023Location: Huntington Beach, CAAs a casual diner with a fondness for discovering unique culinary experiences, my visit to the Kolache Factory in Huntington Beach was nothing short of delightful. Growing up with kolaches as a holiday treat, finding this rare gem on the west coast, just a 30-minute drive away, was exhilarating.First Impressions:The Kolache Factory greets you with a warm, inviting, and small yet cozy atmosphere. The energy is casual and vibrant, with a hint of nostalgia for me. The staff's extremely helpful and personable attitude added to the homely feel of the place. The Culinary Experience:For breakfast, I decided to indulge in an Egg & Sausage kolache and an Egg & Ham kolache, accompanied by a large coffee. The kolaches were a delightful reminder of childhood - soft, warm, and filled with well-seasoned, savory ingredients. The coffee was good, though the experience was slightly marred by being burned by the large hole in the lid, which I believe could use a redesign for safety.Service and Staff:The service was notably fast; my order was ready within 1-2 minutes. The staff's efficiency was impressive, reflecting the well-staffed nature of the restaurant. Their friendly demeanor made the short wait enjoyable.Ambiance and Amenities:The restaurant's ambiance was energetic yet casual, perfect for a quick, comforting breakfast. It had gender-neutral, spotlessly clean bathrooms, adding to the overall positive experience. However, they could consider adding tap-to-pay options for convenience.Menu Variety:The Kolache Factory boasts a very diverse menu, with each item looking more tempting than the last. Although I'm not certain about their offerings for special diets, the variety was commendable.Value and Accessibility:The pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant's location was convenient, with easy parking - a big plus in a busy city.Final Verdict:Would I visit the Kolache Factory again? Absolutely, without a second thought. It's not just about the food; it's the entire experience - a rare find where every bite takes you on a nostalgic journey. This is a must-visit spot for anyone in Huntington Beach looking for a unique breakfast option or a taste of Eastern European cuisine. The Kolache Factory stands as a testament to the joy of simple, well-made food served with warmth and a smile. It's a reminder of the small joys in life - a place where food is not just nourishment but a celebration of culture and memories.(Attached are photos of my delightful breakfast, capturing the essence of my experience.)“
“A little gem tucked away off Beach and Garfield. May we suggest the Number 1 for a tasty healthy breakfast burrito and any of their bagels!! Nice staff, plenty of parking, close if you're getting an oil change at a local car place. Thanks so luch“
“Recently devoured a delightful variety of donuts that were absolutely divine. From the classic, melt-in-your-mouth glazed to the fun, sprinkle-covered ones, every bite was a treat. The bite-sized donut holes, especially with chocolate drizzle, added a perfect sweet touch. Fresh and of high quality, these donuts are ideal for any occasion or just a personal indulgence. They pair wonderfully with coffee or milk, making every moment special. Highly recommended for a tasty treat!“
“Best Acai bowl I've ever had! Highly recommend the coconut ice cream one, creamy and delicious. Normally I can't finish a whole bowl but the smaller size was the perfect amount of food. The cafe itself is super cute with a modern minimalist feel. The matcha latte I got was also fantastic.“
“Usually Fantastic experience here. Despite my coming here multiple times/week BRYCE wouldn't credit me when I told him I was given the wrong egg bites a few days ago. Wanted me to prove it...but couldn't accurately tell me how to do so. Found it later. Terrible customer service for a regular, did he think I was lying?!?!“
“The coffee is great! Try mushroom coffee or matcha. This place has a clean friendly ambiance with outdoor seating and unique treats and food that makes you feel like you’re in Paris.Dietary restrictions: They have special items like cottage cheesecake and tarts, Asian desserts and vegan donuts.“
“I always love coming to Philz Coffee when I visit the US! My favorite drink there is signature Iced Mint Mojito (House Style). It’s absolutely refreshing to have on a hot day. I never get tired of the taste. It’s a light mint with a perfect blend of sweet and creamy flavors. There’s lots of parking available right outside. Friendly staff and beautiful ambience inside. Highly recommend this location!“
“Ahhh love this place! Drinks and especially their teas are made to ORDER, which I love. The aroma is like non other. This local small business got my support always! Not sure why people don't give this place a try. Glad I found out about them today, see ya tomorrow! Cali milk tea please!“
“I dropped just about everything that was set in front of me and Katy was quick to come to my rescue every time. Drink and food were amazing and all requests were accommodated. She even played into our humor which most servers would probably be annoyed with because if you have worked in the biz, you know when 8 ladies walk into the restaurant, it’s gonna be a treat. Katy for president!“
“There's a very tall skinny guy wearing a Russell nametag, I asked to remake my drink. For the next and last 3 drinks I got, where this guy was the barista, my drink seemed altered in a bad way whereas if I ordered from someone else it was not. One was a water that i have a photo where I shortly after got another one from someone else to compare in which Russel's had a dark substance in it, another was a latte and upon drinking it i noticed it had a strange sour taste to it, a 3rd drink had a lid that was very dirty. Of the several times I stayed at the Starbucks to drink my latte there were 2 times I overheard him ranting about dealing with difficult customers. I like this location bc its spacious and has comfortable seats, but now i have to order at the beach and garfield starbucks, before I can come here bc I don't want my drink tampered. I don't have any animosity towards this guy, bc ppl hav all sorts of reasons for what they do, but considering the times of pandemic, this could really hurt someone else. I'm giving 5 stars, bc there's also 8 other people that work there that i got drinks from, who are friendly and make great drinks“
“Got the sourdough bagel with garlic cream cheese, avocado, and lemon pepper. It was very tasty! It was about $7.I do wish I got my bagel toasted, but it was delicious anyways. The garlic cream cheese is very garlicky and I will probably end up buying it on its own the next time I stop by here. The drive thru line was long, but they send a worker out with a tablet to expedite things.“
“When I moved here from the East Coast I was in search for the perfect NY bagel. Everyone would give me their personal recommendation but I was very disappointed until Bo’s opened up around the corner from my house. They nailed it. Now I’m there 1-2 times per week! Highly recommend the classic Hamilton or the PCH (lox and lemon pepper ?). Their coffee is great too! And always get a blueberry muffin if they have them!“
“Steadfast is fastly becoming my favorite coffee shop ever. The coffee is hot and delicious. The drink selections are unique and plentiful, and the atmosphere and staff are refreshing and welcoming. Stop in and let me know if I'm wrong. Cheers Steadfast crew!“
