“This is my favorite coffee shop in the area, hands down. I work remotely and stop by multiple times a week to get out of the house. They have super fun seasonal drinks, amazing flavored cold foam, and strong high quality coffee. Plus no upcharges for alternative milks. Pastries are delicious and so are their breakfast burritos.

Beyond the fantastic drinks and food, the staff is incredibly nice and part of the reason I keep coming back. Hospitality makes a huge difference, and they're doing it right. Absolutely no notes!“

“LOVE LOVE LOVE the drinks however HATE the parking situation. Came here on a Sunday & right when i turned into the plaza, I already knew parking was going to be an issue. Since I was with my husband & son, they dropped me off and parked across the street - which is a pretty short walk.

The double matcha is really good but that spirulina matcha is SO GOOD. The bac xiu is AMAZING.

I cannot wait to be back! The store is also super girlie and cute, i LOVE the map of vietnam with its coffee region.“

“The drink flavors are fantastic—so fresh and simple. I ordered the strawberry macchiato with jasmine green tea, and it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. The only downside was the 25-minute wait, but a lovely young woman was working all by herself that day. I don’t want to lower my rating because of that, though; we all understand that maintaining a large staff is expensive for a business, so I’m just happy I can get my drink for $7.50 and be completely satisfied with the quality.“

This is my favorite coffee shop in Southern California! Just wish they had sugar-free options, but on the other hand, that's probably why they taste so good! They DO have sugar-free macadamia nut milk, though!

“So glad to see The Pocket has reopened on Monrovia (formerly Outpost Kitchen). Made my first visit since they’re back and had an excellent Brekky sandwich with really fresh, delicious ingredients. One in front and one and back and couple of inside tables. Good amount of shade. A few parking spots in the back. Not crowded. “Cute relaxing atmosphere. Good selection of food on their menu. I was excited to try their grass-fed steak and eggs but they only make it medium or well done. If it’s a decent piece of grass fed steak, it’s a waste that they can’t make it medium rare. So I wasn’t sure if it’s the quality of the steak, so I didn’t try it. Also, they had no idea what cut it was. The cashier said the chai is made in-house but when she looked unsure, she then asked another employee, it was actually powder not made in-house. It would be good if the employees knew what’s in and on their menu items. The banana bread is way too sweet for my taste. The Butterfly latte is pretty close to the spiciness of a chai, and was very good. Also enjoyed the avocado toast.

There is some parking right next to the cafe and a parking structure as well.“

I’ll add that I also paid around $20 just for myself with two items.“

I wanted to try the suggestion from the reviews of cold foam on top of the iced chai, and the sweet barista made me both a regular iced chai and a second chai with the cold foam so I could try both options. Both are very good, but highly recommend the cold foam for a little sweet with the spicy! The service and atmosphere were also great, can’t wait to come back!“

I got the strawberry matcha Bingsu and it’s heavenly.
I came after work on a weekday and there was no line.

They have a good little selection of pastries as well. My fav. is their Royale Cookie- must try (if you like chocolateand nuts)! Sometimes I drive to this mall just so that I can stop by here. “Rooster Tea is a charming little tea shop in Costa Mesa with a lot of personality packed into a small space.

The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rooster mural right when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details that give it a cozy and welcoming vibe.

The woman behind the counter was incredibly bubbly and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We kept it simple and ordered a Jasmine Green Tea and a Strawberry Cloud Matcha. Both drinks were refreshing, well-balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The jasmine tea had a clean, fragrant flavor, while the Strawberry Cloud Matcha was creamy, lightly sweet, and a fun twist on a classic matcha.
