“It’s not often I’m blown away by a place, but this place has done it. Famous Donuts is in a simple strip mall with very humble storefront, but by golly do they have the best donuts around!! For those who like classic, FRESH, quality donuts, this is the place. The owner is just fabulous too- so friendly and generous as well. I will make the drive from Irvine to Costa Mesa just for these. Highly recommend the ham & cheese croissant! BEST in OC right here. I believe it’s a Vietnamese style of croissant which is my favorite. They have a jalapeño spicy version which is delicious too!
They still use the iconic pink boxes and throw in donut holes every time. AND they are so affordable!!! I got 5 ham & cheese croissants, 34 dozen donut holes, and a chocolate milk for less than $50.
Grab a chocolate milk and remember to bring cash for tips❤️“

“The donuts here are amazingly delicious. They are light airy and have a very sweet and tasty icing on them. I love the Maple bar. Their chocolate bar is also equally amazing. They also have breakfast. Sandwiches like a bacon, egg and cheese on either a bagel or a croissant and they have fresh squeezed orange. Juice, it is amazing. I highly recommend you come here and the prices are really good.“

Half the price of dunkin donuts but tastes 10x better. Gentleman behind the counter was friendly and patient while I was asking questions and placing my order.
