“Jayden’s Donuts is an easy recommendation if you’re looking for fresh, old-school donuts in Fountain Valley.

We ordered the made-to-order beignets and a bear claw. Fresh beignets are surprisingly hard to find in California, so that alone made this place stand out. They came out hot, light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, absolutely worth ordering.

The bear claw was just as impressive. It was soft, fresh, and had a wonderfully fluffy texture that made it hard to stop eating.

One thing I really appreciated was the huge variety of donuts they offer. Their yeast-raised donuts are especially good, pillowy, airy, and clearly made fresh. Everything we tried tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen.

I had a hard time deciding what I wanted in my croissant sandwich and kept changing my order. Thankfully he was very patient and I was able to make a final decision. We went with a big group on a road trip out of town and we were able to try a lot of things as a group. Everyone was very happy. It's not flashy but that's ok it's not trying to be. They just serve good food and drinks, they know who they are serving. Regular folks on the way to work.

We ate in and regulars were filing in getting their morning coffee and breakfast. These places are hard to find close to big corporate giants like the Mouse. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito, a sour cream donut and cup of cafe con leche. Wife got a ham, egg and cheese burrito, sugar donut and cafe con leche. All excellent!“

The location is convenient since it’s right next to the freeway entrance so that’s why I stopped by. The place is clean, well organized with couple seating inside as well as outside. Got a couple donuts and an iced coffee…didn’t know that it’s VNese iced coffee so it’s abit sweet for me and the cost for it is almost $7 (yike) but it’s in a nice cup. Will coffee and a stuffed filling lemon donut & 6 donut holes cost $11 (rounded up), yup, the iced coffee cost more then I expected, but it’s good overall. I also got the roast beef sandwich on croissant and she asked me if I wanted jalapeños which, of course I did. The best part is I was going to put the dozen donuts in my car and before I can even get out the door, she already have my sandwich ready. It definitely has that old-school feeling and the sandwich was on point. Next time I am in Anaheim. It’s a must to hit this place again. Walked out spending $27 on a bakers dozen which is 13 donuts and a roast beef sandwich. Absolutely amazing and the people are fantastic so inviting.“

I ordered the #2 sandwich, ham egg and cheese on white bread, and I asked them to heat up the ham because I am pregnant and cannot eat cold deli meat, they did it no problem! For such a simple sandwich, it is filled with flavor! 10/10 will reccomend others to try this place out.“

“I've seen this place many times but never stopped. I went to my usual places. Today I went in before going to an event close by and bought a dozen mixed and 1 ham/cheese croissant. My friends gave the donuts a rave review. I'm giving and ham and c cheese croissant a 5star as well. The ladies were friendly to my little 5 year old wild companion and provided great service. “KD's is a great, family-owned local donut shop that has been around for decades. I've been coming here regularly for the past year. They offer a variety of items for breakfast and lunch. From classic donuts to a few fancy options, all made fresh daily, and that's just half of what they offer.

Sometimes, I'll grab a quick donut (or two) and coffee; other times, I'll get a breakfast croissant sandwich. Everything is fresh, and the sandwiches are made to order. Bottled drinks, smoothies, teas, juices, and more are also available.

The owner and staff are friendly, and I've noticed that many long-time locals always come in. The little shop is well-organized and clean. I love seeing the donuts displayed early in the morning when the cases are filled. There aren't any tables to sit and dine in, but it's still a great spot to grab a treat. I highly recommend.“
