Jayden’s Donuts is an easy recommendation if you’re looking for fresh, old-school donuts in Fountain Valley.
We ordered the made-to-order beignets and a bear claw. Fresh beignets are surprisingly hard to find in California, so that alone made this place stand out. They came out hot, light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, absolutely worth ordering.

Jayden’s Donuts is an easy recommendation for fresh, old-school donuts in Fountain Valley. The made-to-order beignets are hot, light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar. Fresh beignets are hard to find in California, so they stand out. The bear claw is soft, fresh, and fluffy. There is a huge variety of donuts, and the yeast-raised donuts are pillowy and airy. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant and apple fritter hit just right. The glazed and twist donuts are extremely delicious and high quality at an affordable price. There are also juices, boba, and sandwiches. A bayou party order of 4 dozen beignets was loved by everyone, with none left over. The beignets were made fresh 15 minutes prior to pickup. The service is friendly, kind, patient, and attentive. The space is clean, calm, and welcoming. The staff is efficient but still human, fast but still thoughtful, simple but still intentional. The owner is pretty nice and gives recommendations and samples. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and grounded, with no stress or attitude. This is a place where pride in the work matters. Jayden’s Donuts delivers a warm, perfectly executed small-business experience with good service, good people, and some of the freshest donuts around.
