“My favorite was the butter pecan donut. I loved the donuts in general, they were different than typical donuts, more fluffy and airy. I didn't like them super fresh out of the fryer since they tend to be a bit oily, liked them when they sat for about 15 minutes. Not a big time difference but a big taste difference.“

“A donut shop is not just a donut shop! YES Donuts puts donuts on the map for me. Their donuts are fresh and fluffy and glazed just perfectly. Finger licking good donuts! Besides their awesome donuts, they offer a variety of breakfast and lunch bites. I absolutely love their breakfast burritos. And when I'm not in the mood for a burrito, they met me in the middle and were able to make me a breakfast bowl! All the goodies without the flour tortilla. Don't skip on the salsa, because it's really good! Oh and the portions, let's just say, you won't get shorted. My kids love their ham & cheese croissants. They also love their boba drinks. They have an awesome Thai Tea and Milk Tea. My husband loves their lox bagels for three reasons: damn good, generous portion, fresh! Their breakfast sandwiches are also pretty awesome! We had three in total of doughnuts and enjoyed them all. We saved the other two for next day of course! Most of the doughnuts were plant-based which made them "healthier". Honestly, I would've ordered something from that case if I did feel like an item out of it. Got something from the case next to it. They're just bees. People use bees. “This place was awesome!! I kinda got carried away ordering 2 dozen donuts! Lol. Each donut was so delicious and soft and fluffy. The apple ones are great! I believe you can get a dozen with a "hole" for about $14. We also got specialty donuts and those were anywhere between $2-$4 I think. We ended up spending around $40 for 2 dozen but we also got a lot of specialty donuts shown in the picture. There were a lot of people getting donuts, and they were selling fast! My wife came here by herself the first time and they were out of apple donuts. I was glad we got a few. The inside is small but you can sit of you want. They even have seating outside if you want to enjoy your donuts outside. All the donuts were great and I'll definitely be coming back to try more!“

“Good basic donuts for a dollar. Once in a while I get charged a little more--I'm guessing I bought a filled one. It's my go-to donut place. Cheap, fast, easy. I have not seen an apple fritter here. But old fashioned, bars, small rounds with sprinkles on top are all well represented. I haven't seen the ham and cheese item available the other reviewers report is so good. If the shelves are empty, it's worthwhile to call out and see if they're about to bring out more. Some of the help is more cheerful than others. The older lady is especially nice. Seem to be a lot of different people working here for such a small place. Some too are better at English than others. When I first came, I asked how late they were open. She said 4 pm. Maybe we misunderstood each other. It looks more like they shut down at noon. Nothing fancy. Highly recommended.“

“Absolutely love this place, been coming here ever since college when I was done checking out the bars and places around Balboa/Newport. And now even though I don't drink, I really appreciate a 24/7 joint that is extremely consistent with their product and always a great price. There certainly are other 24/7 places near me, but I feel Seaside has such a good turnover on goods that they never have stale items to sell. Other donut shops sometimes carry items that seem that they have been sitting out too long, and so I really love the freshness (or perceived freshness?) that Seaside has to offer. The associates are always super friendly and usually tell me good morning when it is like 3-4 AM, and the store is cluttered but quite clean. Around 3 AM seems to be when they are wiping down the racks and behind the glass display, but it also showed that they were restocking the racks with fresh donuts! So it has been awesome to visit this spot during the late nights / early mornings, and I definitely do not mind continue to support this small business.“
