We stopped by this small family-owned sandwich shop for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Jerry, the owner, greeted us with the warmth and friendliness of someone welcoming regular customers he had known for years. Every sandwich we ordered was outstanding. The bread was fresh, the vegetables were crisp and vibrant, and every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh. You could hear the crunch of the vegetables in each bite and tell that every sandwich was made with care and attention, not simply assembled and handed over. It’s the kind of food that reminds you how delicious simple, fresh ingredients can be when prepared by people who truly care.

We also ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie, and to our surprise, Jerry brought complimentary sample smoothies not only to our table but also to another couple dining nearby. It was such a thoughtful gesture and speaks volumes about the kind of people who run this business.

What made the experience even more meaningful was hearing Jerr’s story. He shared that he came to America in 1981 after escaping the horrors of war in Cambodia. He endured unimaginable hardship as a child, including witnessing the loss of his father and being separated from his family before eventually reuniting with his mother years later. Listening to his journey made us appreciate even more the resilience, gratitude, and kindness he brings to his business every day.

Running a small business is not easy, and Jerry mentioned that the margins are tight and times can be challenging. After experiencing both the food and the hospitality firsthand, I truly hope more people discover this hidden gem. Businesses like this deserve community support.

I’m so glad I found this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a chance. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the people behind it are genuinely wonderful. This is exactly the kind of local business I want to support.

If you’re in Irvine and craving a fresh, delicious sandwich made with care by some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

Everything from the appetizers to dessert were perfect. Every dish is made with true italian fresh and natural ingredients and is made by traditional recipes. The talented chef M. makes pastas and pizzas daily and they taste amazing. Also the house wine is a good selection. I suggest you to have their own valuable wine. Il Farro has a great management and staff too. We loved interacting with customers and guys who work in, they became like family for us. The qualified employees are friendly helpful and the restaurant is always clean. They do have enough seats and limited outdoor seating, but get a reservation in advance to make sure you have a place.Hands off, this is the best place to gather with friends or family! “There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. “Went on a Sunday afternoon. Line was reasonable and food came out without a long wait. Parking wasn’t as bad as the reviews mentioned but I can see how it could get packed, especially with the other establishments in the shared parking lot. Outdoor seating was limited but didn’t have a problem getting a table for two.

Pastrami sandwich was great. Fries were greater (beef tallow).

The spicy Italian was good, but there was too much meat in it. Would have been happy with half the amount! Easily a shareable sandwich.

The butcher case and the fridges had some nice options to take home.

Definitely want to try the Smashburger next time - seemed like half the people outside had a burger and fries.“

Kenny Metcalf performed songs I have only heard on Elton John’s albums. I’m so delighted I got to see this particular show!! WOW! It was off the charts musically and Kenny is such a talented singer and musician. When I closed my eyes I thought Elton was singing. The band was amazing too. That guitar player that I don’t remember his name, played a few solo guitar riffs that had everyone in the room clapping. The sold out venue was electric with the sound of Elton John’s deep cuts that I would never have heard live. So amazingly well done!!!! I left with a big smile on my face. I’m going to tell all my friends about Campus Jax….“

There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It is worth going to even if you do not work in that specific building. You can order online and your food is ready when you arrive.“

“Located in the beautiful Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, this spot is perfect if you’re craving fresh seafood or sushi after a beach day. They also have a great variety of drinks including Arizona teas, Gatorade, beer, and wine.

I stopped by on a Saturday evening after spending time at the nearby beach, and luckily it wasn’t too crowded. Ordering was quick and easy, and there was plenty of seating available both inside and outside. The outdoor patio was especially nice for enjoying the cool Newport Beach evening weather.

I ordered the specialty burrito with ahi poke, and it came out in less than 10 minutes. The burrito was huge, fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. Definitely one of the most refreshing meals I’ve had recently.
