I had a fantastic experience at Mimi's Garden; I highly recommend the orange chicken and the truffle bao (black baozi).
If you're craving chinese food in the Newport beach area, definitely give this place a shot.
Probably the best Asian food I have ever had! My entire family absolutely loved it. We even went back the next night just to try more things. Service was amazing. Fresh and handmade. Go as soon as you can!
Myself and 3 friends were down for a friends 70th birthday. Went to lunch at Mimi’s and had the best time/food. Our server Tony was the very best you could ask for, funny and efficient. Great recommendations on food. Drinks were delicious as was the food. Highly recommend it.

Mimi Garden is a beautiful and comfortable restaurant with excellent music and a lovely ambience. The food is delicious, fresh, and inventive, with popular dishes like garlic green beans, chicken dumplings, beef + broccoli, and pork soup dumplings. Visitors often find the food incredible and highly recommend the dumplings, especially the pork soup dumplings, which are considered better than Din Tai Fung. The service is friendly and attentive, with meals arriving in good time, though some mention minor forgetfulness. The overall experience is enjoyable, with many guests leaving full and happy. This unassuming spot next to Pavilions offers great quality food at low prices, making it a favorite for families and visitors alike. Many plan to return for another visit soon.
