“Love, love love the spice level and the generous portions! If you're a classicist, go for the avocado toast -- who doesn't love avocado toast. The food is great, the service is friendly enough but the atmosphere is a little too strip mall.Recommend the Bombay Bowl, it's filling and has complex flavors. A smoothie is always another good choice.“

“Absolutely wonderful! It's always refreshing to visit a restaurant that is 100% vegan. It's even better when the ambiance and atmosphere is also wonderful. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is expansive. The service is great. If/when I move to the area, I'll be a regular here! Don't keep scrolling for a place to eat - this is it!“

Tru Bowl Superfood Bar Juice • $
109 W Balboa Blvd, Newport Beach

“FRESH fruit! Sometimes the fruit can be so so at açaí places. But we really enjoyed our bowls. The price for the amount was fair and just tasted really good! Size small bowl you get 2 bases and the medium you get 3 bases. Decent amount of places to sit inside and enjoy your food. The mango base was very good, not too sweet but great flavor. Definitely a good spot to hit up before the beach or after! Parking is just if you can find it... paid or not. But for the most part you should be good.“

“I walked in and I was surprised to see how cheap all the food was (California standards) and I ordered the onion rings and the everyday special (Burger + Fries + Drink for 10.50) and they were pretty good. The food wasn’t master chef food but it was very comforting and fills you up for less, and there are plenty of items on the menu to choose from so a burger and fries were just a taste of what’s to come. The service was great, the owner was super nice and the chefs were wholesome and cool. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere screamed artistic so size didn’t really matter. This restaurant is located near the beach so I understand that its main intention was to give beach people more food for less and I like that. So if you want something to fill you up for less, come eat here!“

Pressed Juicery Juice • $
1181 Newport Center Dr, Newport Beach

“Whether You're Pressed for time or, hopefully, not, this is a great place to treat your body to delicious beverages, açaí bowls, or other healthy options., Located at the ocean side edge of peaceful, spotless, Fashion Island, right next to the spacious, complimentary parking lot, up on a hill, you can enjoy eating outside, if you're lucky enough to snag one of two comfortable chairs and a table, and watch the world of prosperous people go by, while you relax and enjoy a large plant-based açaí bowl with psychedelic purple frozen something, that tastes just like yogurt. It was a great spot for this 71 year old man to reflect on the days when he and his friends body surfed The Insane Wedge in the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's and lived to tell about it! It was also a great spot to mourn the loss of a man who personified the love of the ocean, even though it was in the Florida Keys, on September 1, 2023...Jimmy Buffett...No salt shaker needed. The wonderful, patient, young server filled me in on the history of this rapidly expanding, socially responsible company, and made sure that I will be coming back for more and registering for future notifications.“

Juice Crafters - Newport Beach Juice • $$
220 Marine Ave, Newport Beach

“I appreciate the quality here both equipment wise and ingredient sourcing, it's really hard to find (even organic places) that REALLY care about their ingredient sourcing! So THANK YOU for that, coming from a VERY picky person. I do wish there were more variety and seasonality, which would be so awesome. Overall, great! Some people I noticed are complaining about the pricing...I think their juices are priced very reasonable and keep in mind that you are paying for what you get (most of the time). The the shop down the street isn't organic at all. I'd rather by the couple extra bucks to get top notch ingredients than something that's not organic at all. Thank you to juice crafters for actually caring what you feed your customers.“
