It's what they do often, that's good. However, the Chicken Marsala was off. :More training needed in the kitchen. The Lasagna was cold on the inside, and had a strange flavor about it that I'm not familiar with. And, it had Spinach in it. I thought that too was... different. Not particularly appealing, to me. “My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I would recommend as a casual and family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back again.“

“My sisters and I came to this restaurant, and they were playing the news. We didn't feel like being bummed by the news, so we asked if the restaurant minded if they could change the channel. The staff gave us the remote and let us change the channel ourselves! I really really appreciated that. We have come back many times since! “We run a busy DIY art studio nearby, and Fantastic Cafe is one of our go to places when we get really busy and need something to go, or when we need an extra energy pickup at the start/end of a long day. Our favorite is the two for one hamburger special after 4 PM, but we also love the patty milk with extra onions, the big, hot fries, and breakfast. Watch out for their milkshakes. They’re huge and addicting.“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“Taty's has a lot of unique drinks that you can choose from. I liked everything I got the second time around. I would come back here.

Tip: Don't get crystal boba. I got this the first time and it was very dense and didn't taste good. Drinks are just right in sweetness. Get at least 75% here and don't go too low.

* Ube Matcha Latte 4.5/5 - This was tasty, though I wish the ube flavor came across more. It was very understated. I got Osmanthus Mochi Jelly addon and it was yummy, a cross between a grass jelly and mochi texture with a light sweetness.

* Mini Breadsticks 5/5 - These were like crispy banh mi. I like that they were protein-packed with pork floss and pate.

* Popcorn Chicken 5/5 - Crispy and delicious popcorn chicken. Their spicy level may be a bit high as I ordered mild, but it was more like a medium (maybe it was just the seasonings being concentrated at the top).

* Pink Guava Strawberry Tea 5/5 - Very refreshing and sweet drink, hint of guava and strawberry, not strong taste.

* Blended Oreo Brulee 5/5 - Creamy, eggy, sweet goodness. It was a real treat. Your mouth is like Oreo-land with bouncy egg custard.“

This place has been around for a long time, probably close to 20 years. A lot of spots around Bolsa come and go, but this one is still here, which says a lot.

“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). They have many other great dishes as well. If you’re in the area, stop by and dine . You won’t be disappointed.“

“We’re visiting from San Francisco and happened to find this restaurant by chance — what a great surprise! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was very clean.
We especially loved the fish congee — the fish was super fresh, and you definitely have to get the Chinese fried dough (youtiao) to go with it! Their Dill tumeric sizzling fish was also AMAZING and definitely a must-try.

“I'm sad to say this place has closed their business. At least their physical presence. They do offer ordering over the phone that you can go pick up at another location. But I at least wanted to share my experience. It's in the same Plaza as A Dong Market and Seafood Cove across from the Asian Garden Mall/Phuoc Loc Tho. I used to come here all the time for my mom when she asked me to purchase banh uoc/cuon, the kind of thing that you can find in Vietnam or at restaurants like Tay Ho. My mom usually ordered plain rice noodles so that she can make her own combinations that we would all eat. Such as more veggies or other Deli slices (cha lua). It was very affordable and they had a wide variety of ready to eat dishes as well. Never felt heavy and always left not feeling gross. Kind of like rice noodle salad dishes with some sort of protein. They also have other rice noodle variations with dried shrimp or ground pork with Woodear or mushrooms. Everything was delicious. You know they're good when even my mom could eat their nuoc mam with the noodles. Wish they reopened somewhere else in case the rent was high or something. I'm pretty sure it was just the location and the rent because there wasn't that much foot traffic.“

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

Service was swift and accommodating even with a larger group, but I found it surprising we had to personally ask for water rather than it being brought to us.
