The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were generous, I served an entire plate and barely made a dent. “I've been on a personal mission to find great tasting vegetarian and vegan/plant-based Vietnamese food and I'm super glad I found Thien Dang. I've only ever ordered from them on Grubhub but it's never been disappointing. My husband and I have tried quite a few of their banh mis, and I think their beef is my favorite one! I haven't had real beef in about 4 years now and theirs satisfied my craving - love the lemongrass on it. I also recently got their version of a combination broken rice and I liked it, but didn't love it. The shredded pork had a good texture and taste and so did the spare rib, but the bean curd pie left something to be desired. Also, the daikon and carrots weren't actually pickled which is weird since it's supposed to be Đồ chua. I let them sit in the fish sauce for a while and then added it to my rice and it was alright then. Their bun Bo hue (not pictured) was okay, it wasn't the best but it did the trick. The broth was very oily though and I wish it had more veggies or things in it and a stronger lemongrass flavor. I also wish they had given me extra saté like I requested because that would've definitely helped.“

We tried the al pastor, fish, asada, chicken (x2), carnitas, cauliflower and chorizo tacos. We ordered take out to try the food at home. Since we have never had those taco in their meat versions before, we really couldn't tell which taco was which. They were all delicious though, some more spicy than others. I didn't like the quesadilla because I am not a big fan of cheese, vegan or not, and it was stuffed with cheese. My husband and son enjoyed those though. I am impressed with all the different vegan meats used by this restaurant.“

My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“

I am not familiar with a lot of restaurants in town who offer fully plant based products so I was stoked to find one who fulfilled my order same day (within 2 hours at that!). I went to pick up the cake and the staff was so friendly and helpful with my many questions on the establishment as I had never heard about it before. Once my cake was done, the staff who assisted me took the time to ask about when the cake would be served and gave me helpful tips on storing it until the next day. The attention to that while they were busy was wonderful! On top of the nice service, I also bought a caramel apple cinnamon roll to try at home. My my my it was very tasty!!
