“Checked out Gomen Ramen in Stanton and gotta say this was legit some of the best ramen I've had in a minute. Didn't really know what to expect going in, but we tried a few different dishes and came away really impressed. My favorite was easily the Hiyashi Chuka, which is a chilled ramen topped with veggies and served with a spicy sauce you pour over it. The flavor was amazing and had this really clean, refreshing taste to it. Definitely one of the better ramen dishes I've had recently. The Kakuni Deluxe Ramen was another standout. It's loaded with pork belly and shredded pork kakuni, and the broth was really flavorful. We also tried the Oroshi Soba, Tenshin Fried Rice, and Combo Tempura, which were all good additions to the meal. The restaurant itself has a cool manga and anime theme going on, which I really liked too. Overall, really enjoyed everything and was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen was. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

“If you’re looking for top-tier takeout, Teriyaki Wa Sushi absolutely delivered. I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. This is exactly how takeout should be done: bold flavor, quality ingredients, and consistency from start to finish. Definitely going back.“

“First time here. You can sit on your own or wait until they give you the menus. It took a while to get attended and ordered a coke can. Took a bit for the drink to be given so the owner gave me another one for free for the waiting, The pho is a perfect size and the price was $13 for a regular one. I got the combination one which was amazing and used the sweet sauce given. Small business and sometimes they have live music.“

“Was craving Peruvian food and happened to pass by Chicama while in the area, so we decided to check it out. We love Peruvian food and have tried quite a few spots, so the bar is pretty high. Gotta say this place was really good. We went with all the classics we usually order. The Lomo Saltado was good, but the Tallarin Saltado was definitely my favorite of the day. The beef was good quality and everything had those rich Peruvian flavors we love. The Chaufa Especial was really good too and rounded out the meal nicely. We also started with a Peruvian Tamal before the mains came out, and that was another standout for me. It's a smaller spot tucked away in a random strip mall, but definitely a hidden gem worth checking out. Overall, really enjoyed everything and glad we stumbled upon this place. Would definitely come back when we're in the area again.“

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. The restaurant was light, bright and clean. I totally recommend this restaurant.“
