All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“You HAVE to try the chicken yufka. Phenomenal. Get a tatuni salad on the side, you will want to add more to the yufka it's delicious. The hot sauce isn't that spicy, but the flavor elevates the yufka so well. I wasn't even that hungry when I came in and I demolished my plate. The owner is so sweet, please give this shop a visit.“

Everyone I’ve brought here, says it’s their favorite and comes back often. The staff is always kind and friendly. Lindsay and Karen make this place special as well as the male chef. “Delicious! I had the crispy pork belly wraps, the seafood tom kha pasta and a coconut matcha drink. All were absolutely beyond expectations. The service is spectacular! Shout out to our server Young for the recommendations and great amicable service. On top of it all, the space is very beautiful and inviting.

Aaand, I was a klutz and spilled my coconut matcha...I was devastated because I hadn't had much and I made a disaster. Shout out to Robert for calmly helping out with a smile...he cleaned the entire mess AND brought me a whole new drink which he didn't have to do!“

We received our two pizzas with someone else's small pizza and mozzarella sticks. We called the store, told them what happened. The other lady missing her food had already called. So they will send a salad and meatballs (and yes, we offered to pay for the extra pizza and mozzarella sticks). 45 minutes later the salad arrives with NO dressing. And 8 tiny meatballs... Bummer!!! “I gave an earlier bad review because of a to go order where they gave one strawberry for a berry basket meal. I have gone back since and it's really great. The fruit serving in the berry basket has been generous and everything tastes great! I gave a 4 star in service instead of five because a male employee did not help me right away with my pickup order just stared at me and went back to flirting with another female employee. Only when I stood there like an idiot for a while (maybe a like 4 to 5 minutes) then he gave me my pick up order. But it's ok I totally understand to be young and in love! The prices are reasonable and the portions are plenty. The atmosphere for dining in is cafeteria atmosphere, but a majority take the food to go.“

“Slice House by Tony Gemnani is an absolute gem. It has to be at the top of the list of the best pizza in Orange County. I came to the one in 18120 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. The single slice pizzas are huge and fresh. The Wiseguy pizza has tomato sauce, mozzarella, sweet & spicy Italian sausage, thin pepperoni, ricotta, Tony’s hot pepper oil & green onion. I loved the ricotta cheese on top of the pizza because you can smear it. So it can be extra cheesy. I also got the Pulp Fig-Tion made with sweet fig jam, salty bacon, creamy ricotta, and a hint of pesto. If you like sweet and savory, this is the pizza you need. It is only available at Slice House in Fountain Valley. I also loved there house made hot local honey. It made a lot of difference when you dipped the pizza in it or drizzled it on top. They also have specials that come with the drink and salad. I will definitely go again. 10/10!“

“This location is the only one I go to that they dont have the freshest bread and no spicy mustard. All the locations I go to have spicy brown mustard. Not the associates fault ,but whomever the location owner is.
Idk about the bread ,its never fluffy like the other locations. I cant eat the end peices because of it. I order a giant, but once im done its more like a med because of those peices I have to toss out.“

“A hidden boba shop that just happens to serve pho and other food options. They don't specialize in pho and only have one variety (prime rib pho), but it slaps and is jam packed with meat! Only 10 bux and comes with a free small drink of your choice.

Unfortunately I had to deduct a star for lack of consistency. The pho ranges from amazing to just average, and I suspect it depends on the time of day. Try to come in the mornings.“
