“Best vegan food ever! And best Raw food ever! This is one of our very favorite restaurants that we drive 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to.
Vegetarian options: Also recommend all the raw wild rice dishes. We love every one of them and order extra to take home. They also have the best deserts ever!“

“I had an amazing dining experience at Halalglu Turkish Restaurant in Costa Mesa. Not only is the food authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor, but the staff is truly incredible! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The team was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect.
Every dish was cooked to perfection. The spices and fresh ingredients brought out the best in every bite. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a great spot for any occasion.
As a halal restaurant, it’s also a top choice for those looking for delicious and quality halal options. I highly recommend Halalglu to anyone in Costa Mesa looking for outstanding Turkish cuisine and impeccable service. I’ll definitely be returning!“

“It was so nice to stumble upon an urban plates near Huntington Beach. We needed healthier eating options.
I had the surf and turf plate with the beet and goat cheese salad and Mac and cheese.
What I loved about coming here was learning they use grass fed beef. That’s a huge win for me as I try to only eat beef that is grass fed. It also shows me urban plates is keeping up with the health trends.
The garlic shrimps are so yummy too. They had so much flavor and were not fishy tasting at all. I would highly recommend.
What I also loved is that they brought our food out to us and I believe it was one of the chefs that brought it out. He also recommended a yummy sauce to dip my steak into because I like a little spice.
This is the perfect place to come grab lunch or dinner when you don’t have time to go to a full service sit down restaurant.
The service was really amazing and I can’t wait to come back!“

“This restaurant is very modern and stylish, and the food is delicious. We ordered fried chicken wings, beef tongue rice, squid mango salad, and mango sticky rice, and they were all very tasty. The service was also good, and there's a 15% discount for military personnel!“

“Taste of Beauty was a fantastic experience! The food and service was top-notch. Not being a vegetarian, I was a bit hesitant, but Taste of Beauty will have you reconsider changing your eating habits. The story that they tell is equally matched by the high quality of food. We will definitely be coming back for next season's menu!“

“Two of our three meals were delish. One meal, peanut chicken, had absolutely zero flavor. I don't think anything was added to the meal at all. No sauce, no peanuts, nothing. The General Tsao was great. The service was awesome and fairly fast turn around.“

“This is my favorite sushi spot to regularly visit. While it's not fancy, it's unbeatable for the price. Appetizers and Sushi quality taste far better than most places that are double/triple the price. The server Karen is kind and attentive - my partner and I are always happy to see her! When a mistake has happened (infrequently), they have resolved the issues wonderfully. The bottled beer is also cheap.
Some of my favorites include the baked mussels, kalamari, dragon roll, yellowtail sashimi, fisherman roll, fire in the hole roll. I've tried most appetizers/rolls and have liked everything.
Only requests would be more options for hot sake and beer on draft.“

“Love this place!!! Great food with a great vibe, always clean & their pistachio baklava is so delicious! I usually order filet mignon kebab or lamb kebab and they are decently priced for a plate that comes with rice, hummus & Mediterranean salad. I would recommend this place for any time of day!“

“As someone who has tried a lot of Turkish food, I can confidently say Ikram Grill is one of the best! The food here is consistently high-quality and full of authentic flavors.
This place is always busy, and it’s no surprise given the amazing food. Even with the crowd, the service was efficient, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.
Make sure to try their simit – it’s incredibly tasty, fresh, and a true highlight of the meal.
5 out of 5 – highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish flavors!“

“I'm probably never going back to BCD. No MSG, more flavorful, where has this place been all my life?
I have an MSG/glutamate intolerance so I would have an almost immediate reaction after eating. But this is my second time eating here in two days and no reaction. I confirmed it with the daughter of the owners today. No MSG used. The food and side dishes feel like mom/grandma made them. Full of flavor without MSG, what is this magic? The bulgolgi tastes like caramelized kalbi. Amazing. Each of the side dishes have so much flavor maturation.
The beer is priced the same as most happy hours elsewhere.
What we ordered:
Soon Tofu soup + bulgolgi combo with kimchi beef tofu soup. They give you a small salad to start. The side dishes include kimchi, kimchi cucumber, Korean potato salad (with cucumbers and apples), fish cake, broccoli/or spinach tofu, and marinated bean sprouts. Every single item was flavorful and delicious.
I feel satisfied, nourished, and happy eating here. Such a hidden family-owned gem. Support small business y'all.
Dietary restrictions: No MSG“

“The açaí bowl was okay, I thought it was going to be good because of the reviews, but I guess it’s expected when the acai base is pretty concentrated. Wish it was a bit easy to scoop into. The service was kind of confusing, but not bad.
Edited my review :)“

“This was the best food I’ve had in a long time. I was with three other people and we all agreed it was a place to return to often. My fish tacos were wonderful. The rice and beans that came with them were absolutely delicious. I’m looking forward to trying more things on the menu.“

“Ugh.... First the driver delivers half of our order with half of someone else's order. We ordered 2 small pizzas, large chicken caesar salad and 2 large meatballs. We received our two pizzas with someone else's small pizza and mozzarella sticks. We called the store, told them what happened. The other lady missing her food had already called. So they will send a salad and meatballs (and yes, we offered to pay for the extra pizza and mozzarella sticks). 45 minutes later the salad arrives with NO dressing. And 8 tiny meatballs... Bummer!!! PS: We still love you FCP!“

“An Evening at Kin Izakaya: Where Tradition Meets Ambiance In the culinary haven that our city embodies, Kin Izakaya emerges as a sanctuary of authentic Japanese flavors combined with the convivial spirit typical of Japan’s iconic gastropubs. It’s here that tradition and modernity collide to create not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. The moment you step through the doors of Kin Izakaya, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both lively and intimately comforting. The ambient lighting, coupled with rustic décor and understated oriental motifs, offers a welcoming reprieve from the city’s hustle and bustle. The soft murmur of patrons engaged in animated conversation sets the backdrop for an authentic izakaya experience. Kin Izakaya’s menu is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese fare and innovative culinary creations. The tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing, encourage a communal dining experience. From the delicate flavors of their sashimi to the robust, savory notes found in their yakitori selection, there’s a delightful complexity in each dish presented. The agedashi tofu, with its perfect crispy exterior giving way to silken tofu within, is a testament to the chef’s prowess in honoring traditional flavors while serving contemporary palates.“

“I can't speak on the food, though it all looked absolutely scrumptious. The reason I am giving 5 stars is simple - when you have a severe food allergy and go in and ask if there is anything on the menu you can safely eat and the establishment says no, I take it as a win and find another spot to eat. Do you know how many restaurants I've been to where they try to fake it til they make it and don't understand cross contamination and end up getting me sick? Ha! Too many to count on Google Maps.
My husband's relative brought us here without any prior knowledge of their GF offerings (or lack there of) but being the smart Celiac that I am, I ate ahead before leaving my hunger in the hands of others.
I was able to get a cup of chai and sit in a booth to enjoy some good conversation while everyone chowed down. The menu is extensive and offers a little of everything. During this fall season, they seem to jump the pumpkin bandwagon, so I recommend you try it all. It smelled good and the family I was with ate everything on their plates so it must've been delicious. I'm sad I couldn't try any of their food due to the shared griddle/grill but from what I could see, all the patrons were delighted with their food and nothing was left on any plates in the surrounding booths and tables nearby. Plus, I found out this place has been around for a while so it's good to go in and support these establishments that have been open forever. They're doing something right to be in business this long. If I could, I would have tried their corned beef hash, the pancakes, the scrambles, the fried egg burger, the pastrami, the lamb gyro and even the burritos sounded amazing. But alas, maybe in another lifetime with a different digestive system.“

“There’s a reason why this is NOT a fast food restaurant and no drive-thru. You get solid 3.5 Star, made-to-order food like the freshly fried hard shell corn tortilla for their Original Taco. Their salsa is refrigerated because it’s fresh and not in a packet. I personally like their salsa verde. My go-to’s are the Original Taco (good amount of ingredients) and the Bun Taco. My friend says the Chicken Combo Burrito is good. And one time, when is was “off”, they were re-made it with a smile…good customer service. Last note, the soda station is refillable!
Logistics-wise, they’re in an unassuming, industrial strip mall with plenty of lot parking as well as street parking on Mt Langley.“

“Today is the last day of the July 4 holiday, and it is also Sunday. I originally planned to go to a nearby Vietnamese restaurant for dinner, but there were too many people where I wanted to go. I had to wait for more than an hour to get a table for dinner. I just found a Thai restaurant nearby. For a restaurant, I found Mai Thai, a Thai restaurant. When I arrived at my destination, I found no one waiting for a table outside the door. I felt a little uneasy. I didn’t know how good this restaurant was, but seeing that it was getting late, I decided to do it. Try it once in the mood of a white mouse. After entering, there were only six of us and one guest. Unexpectedly, the service here is so good that we booked this restaurant. I don’t know how to order Thai food, so I just listened to the waiter’s introduction to the dishes. I ordered eight dishes, all delicious and delicious. I am quite picky about what I eat, but I found the product to be really good. And the charge is not expensive. There are eight dishes for six people. In the end, two portions of sticky rice with mango and coconut juice were given. The total including tip was only $256-. My friends who were traveling with me were full of praise. Worth giving it 4 stars. Thank you Mai Thai for a lovely dinner.“

“Monique was great at customer service. She was very busy!! Despite being busy she made me feel valued and explained everything I asked. She didn’t rush me or my family and improvised very well. She also re made my drink with no hesitation. I could tell her team didn’t want to but she made it happen. She deserves more respect from them. I would recommend and come back. I didn’t try the food but it looked and smelled great. If they made my drink right the first time I would’ve rated a 5 star. Also they ran out of Boba and avocado drink which I was looking forward to, but like I said it was busy and towards the evening night time.“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. See you soon! Can’t wait for the most delicious Bosnian food on the west side of the United States.“
