All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“You HAVE to try the chicken yufka. Phenomenal. Get a tatuni salad on the side, you will want to add more to the yufka it's delicious. The hot sauce isn't that spicy, but the flavor elevates the yufka so well. I wasn't even that hungry when I came in and I demolished my plate. The owner is so sweet, please give this shop a visit.“

Portion Size: Be prepared, the sushi and nigiri pieces are large. Because of the size, you don't need to over-order. For two people, 3 rolls (or a small combination of rolls and nigiri) is usually plenty.

Flavor Profile: The sushi is prepared simply with just a bit of wasabi (rolls are similar); nothing is heavily sauced. If you prefer more kick or salt, be prepared to use your soy sauce and extra wasabi.“

“I have tried many dishes here and some of them are good.

Such as Bún bò huế dry noodle, it tastes amazing. The meat is well-marinated, flavorful, and not too salty.
Seafood tom kha pasta, a delicious sweet and sour flavor. The seafood is fresh and perfectly cooked to my taste.
Last one is the dessert, the passion fruit frozen yogurt is yummy, but it is just a little bit too sweet for my personal.

Overall, the food looks very beautiful and professional. The staff is also very attentive, careful, and friendly.

“Ugh.... First the driver delivers half of our order with half of someone else's order. We ordered 2 small pizzas, large chicken caesar salad and 2 large meatballs. We received our two pizzas with someone else's small pizza and mozzarella sticks. We called the store, told them what happened. The other lady missing her food had already called. So they will send a salad and meatballs (and yes, we offered to pay for the extra pizza and mozzarella sticks). 45 minutes later the salad arrives with NO dressing. And 8 tiny meatballs... Bummer!!! “Our family go to for years! Best prices, delicious food, and very very generous portions! We have used them to cater birthday parties and more. So easy to work with and they take both cash and credit (with a slight fee for using credit). Go to is the house chicken, coconut shrimp, bbq pork, string beans, and the orange chicken. Be prepared to wait, I went around 5:30 on a Friday and it took about 30 mins and line was out the door. If that doesn’t tell you how delicious and amazing the place is I don’t know what more convincing you need.“

“Slice House by Tony Gemnani is an absolute gem. It has to be at the top of the list of the best pizza in Orange County. I came to the one in 18120 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. The single slice pizzas are huge and fresh. The Wiseguy pizza has tomato sauce, mozzarella, sweet & spicy Italian sausage, thin pepperoni, ricotta, Tony’s hot pepper oil & green onion. I loved the ricotta cheese on top of the pizza because you can smear it. So it can be extra cheesy. I also got the Pulp Fig-Tion made with sweet fig jam, salty bacon, creamy ricotta, and a hint of pesto. If you like sweet and savory, this is the pizza you need. It is only available at Slice House in Fountain Valley. I also loved there house made hot local honey. It made a lot of difference when you dipped the pizza in it or drizzled it on top. They also have specials that come with the drink and salad. I will definitely go again. 10/10!“

“We came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. Food came out quickly. Service was excellent! A very friendly server gave us great recommendations and was patient with our questions since it was our first time here.

We enjoyed the broken rice combo with BBQ meats and sides. I especially like the pork chop, the pickled pork, sausage, and crispy fish cake. It was a very hearty meal with big portions at a reasonable price. I also loved that it came with a comforting side of vegetable soup broth.

“I’ve ordered Ike’s twice in the last week on Uber Eats and this is honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. More specifically the Davinci and add lettuce tomato pickles red onion and banana peppers along with the Italian dressing and the garlic aioli omgggggg this is what dreams are made of. Also the French Bread and any of the bread is chefs kiss. Ike’s is EXTREMELY underrated and not talked about enough.

Whoever made my sandwich today (5/15/2026 at like 11:55am for my Uber Eats order) I hope good things happen to you for eternity and you always catch green lights when you’re running late. “A hidden boba shop that just happens to serve pho and other food options. They don't specialize in pho and only have one variety (prime rib pho), but it slaps and is jam packed with meat! Only 10 bux and comes with a free small drink of your choice.

Unfortunately I had to deduct a star for lack of consistency. The pho ranges from amazing to just average, and I suspect it depends on the time of day. Try to come in the mornings.“

“First time trying this place and the moment my boyfriend and I walked in, it smelled so good I already knew I was going to love it, I got their curry chicken, green beans, chow mien, and fried rice. And all of it was pretty satisfying I didn’t even need to add soy sauce or sriracha because the green beans made up for the spice. My boyfriend was also happy with his plate and actually finished his so knowing him to not leave leftovers it was that good 👍 really affordable too, don’t forget to walk in with cash because it is cash only
