“If you’re looking for top-tier takeout, Teriyaki Wa Sushi absolutely delivered. I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. “I popped in and ordered the mongolian spicy chicken. The price is reasonable, but as other reviews note it was lacking some meat. Not bad but not generous. Same with vegetables. The flavor was decent and it was much hotter than I expected. I like it that hot but for most people reading this, it will make you cry. This is fast and good in a pinch.“

“My wife and I came by, just as they were opening for the day. The music was pretty loud, but I appreciate the staff noticing our discomfort and turning it down.The atmosphere is interesting, reminding me more of a Japanese bar than a sushi restaurant. The decorum definitely fits with the Japanese bar vibe, with string diamonds.We ordered the Yuzu margarita, which was very flavorful. An excellent drink, combining refreshing citrus fruit Yuzu and the smoky flavor of mezcal.We ordered yellowtail and salmon sushi. The slices were pleasantly thick, giving a wonderful savory mouth feel.We asked for chicken hearts, but they had unfortunately ran out. We went for chicken thigh yakitori instead. We also had their scallops wrapped in bacon. Both were excellent and juicy.The highlight for both of us was their yellowtail collar. Pleasantly grilled with spices, and was better with the sprinkling of fresh lemon.The only downside is the price. But considering the quality of the fish and the location, I understand the pricing. It's a good place to take someone for a special occasion.“
