“The best sushi experience!“

“Sushi Hama is honestly the best sushi spot around here. It’s my go-to and still my all-time favorite in the area.

The fish quality is seriously so good — super fresh, clean, and just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The sashimi is a must. The cuts are thick and generous, and it just hits every time.

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole vibe even better. And the portions? So generous. I always leave completely full and happy.

It’s also the perfect place to grab a glass of sake and just enjoy good food with friends. I’ve brought so many people here and it has never failed. Everyone ends up loving it.

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything, but the Langostino Roll is my absolute favorite. If you go, definitely get that — and don’t skip the sashimi.

Just try it. You won’t regret it. Trust me!!!“

“Worthy of a special trip! They took such care in their preparation. It’s not a glitzy place but the service was special. Counter order, lots of options. My wife and I stopped there as we were staying at the Hampton inn in the same area. I had a yellowtail roll along with tempura and my wife had the salmon. Vegetables were perfect presentation was spot on for casual dining and my roll was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect proportion of spicy tuna to yellowtail to rice. If I lived in the area I would go here at least once a week. Prices were also spot on and in many cases extremely reasonable. Bravo Kabuto!!! A special place!!“

The fish is fresh, the hand rolls are delicious, prices are reasonable, and service is pretty quick (as long as every seat doesn’t fill at the exact same time, but even that is manageable).

My personal favorite is the spicy tonkotsu ramen: bold, creamy, and just the right amount of heat. The yellowtail rolls are another fave, and the daily specials are always worth asking about.

“I’ve ordered here 3 times and food here has been consistently fresh. This place is near where I live. I was surprised to find out it was just a take out establishment during my first visit. But services have been quick and they have gotten the orders right so far. They often send out discount codes which are very helpful in this economy. Prices are fairly reasonable. “This was such an incredible experience, my group sat at the sushi bar and this was all our first times having Omakase. We couldn’t have asked for a better and more delicious experience. The couple that owns this restaurant is so sweet and absolutely incredible with customer service. We felt like we had been coming here for years, and ordered more food at the end of our 12 piece meal bc it was all so delicious and we couldn’t get enough. I think we each got 3 more pieces. “We went here for the AYCE sushi and got the premium menu because we're visiting Socal for vacation. Absolutely phenomenal with the service and food! I love how friendly the staff was to us and explained how the process actually work. There are leftover fee + only order what you can eat! Definitely should ask for recommendations and they provide you a menu with pictures. I would absolutely come back here again! The parking lot is kinda small, but we were able to find a spot before the dinner rush.“

“Food is amazing. Pork Katsu comes with 5-6 pork slices that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with salad. Amazing side dishes like pickled radish and cucumbers served with creamy soup.

Service is incredible. Very attentive waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Kim Tae (Ted) is amazing! Great work ethic displayed and attentiveness.

I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. This is exactly how takeout should be done: bold flavor, quality ingredients, and consistency from start to finish. Definitely going back.“

The sando was good. Moist egg filling and well toasted bread. The sake salmon...goodness gracious. It was delicious! I want to try more items on the menu, but I may have a hard time not ordering the salmon again. I highly recommend Neighborhood Bento.

“Local guide coming in hot ya'll sit back and relax at the best Gyukatsu restaurant in all of Orange County (both north and south county). I couldn't be more pleased with a full stomach and memories to last a lifetime. My wife and I frequent Japan where we enjoy some of the best gyukatsu in the entire world. With that being said, this particular restaurant, located in the beautiful Buena Park, CA is a close second place runner up. Haven't really tried any other similar restaurants stateside but if I did I'd bet it wouldn't come close to the culinary masterpiece this place lays down on the regular. “I was going back to the yard to part my semi and I thought I’d get something quick to snack on at the corner store but it wasn’t open. The next thing open beside it was LUCKILY Tokyo Grill! I was hungry and I was going to wait til I got home but I decided to get the chicken bowl because I saw it was 9 bucks. I didn’t expect much as I took it to my truck and man was I blown away. The flavor of the chicken was so delicious and the amount of ingredients they put into the bowl is unbelievable. It had green beans pineapple carrot slices cabbage and some other vegetables. I was amazed for how much food they gave me for the plate only being 9 bucks and they put a lot of chicken in there which was a big plus. I didn’t have to dig around for any chicken.That’s why I’m writing this review, hopefully it helps anyone thinking coming to eat here. Oh and I also had really dirty hands and the lady at the cash register which I believe was part owner, gave me some wipes and was really nice. I’m pretty sure their other dishes are great too. I didn’t take a picture of my food because I was really hungry but it’s worth each penny I wasted.“

“I usually love tonkatsu, but this place is on another level. We ordered the 88 Tonkatsu, Swai Fish Katsu, and Cold Bibim Noodles, and honestly, just wow. Everything was delicious!

The katsu was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. I also highly recommend trying the katsu with the salt and wasabi they give you on the plate. It’s completely different from eating it with the usual tonkatsu sauce, but in the best way. The salt and wasabi really bring out the flavor of the meat, and I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected.

The portions were also really generous, especially for such a reasonable price.

A special shoutout to the manager, Chris! He greeted us warmly, recommended different items, and was super friendly and professional throughout our visit. He definitely made our experience even better.

“I made 3 visits to Aura before leaving this review and I’m a huge fan because they serve my two favorite foods in the world: sushi and hot pot. We always get the sukiyaki broth because we love the sweet and savory flavor profile. All the meats are thin and delicious, but you’ll get a thicker cut with the bulgogi. Highly recommend upgrading to the premium menu though because you’ll get the omakase experience - it’s delicious! Service has always been kind, but requires some patience when the crowd picks up. Compared to when they first opened, I see improvements and you can even order your food on a tablet now and some items are self-serve to keep you happy while you wait on the kitchen. Totally worth giving a try!“
