“My husband and I went to Patty's Place for our anniversary. We were thinking it was just your basic steak house. We were wrong. Nothing about Patty's is basic.I was shocked when we walked in. It has just enough elegance to enhance a cozy, and comfortable experience. The service was excellent and very friendly. Needless to say, the food was magnificent. I've never had side dishes be as delicious as the main meal. The potatoes and veggies were out of this world. ~ I can honestly say, " it was the best food I've ever eaten." This restaurant gets a 10 in my book.”

“CPK is always a hit or a miss depending on how a location management runs it. Fortunately , the Seal Beach location here is more of a Hit than a Miss.

They are usually understaffed which is why sometimes you have to wait longer even when there are empty tables inside. Ambience is where this CPK shines over others. The booths are much better and place is kept clean.

We usually get the Cedar Plank Salmon , Spicy Chipotle Chicken Pizza on Thin Crust (Always the best !) and the Chicken Piccata (often good !)

“Sushi Hama is honestly the best sushi spot around here. It’s my go-to and still my all-time favorite in the area.

The fish quality is seriously so good — super fresh, clean, and just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The sashimi is a must. The cuts are thick and generous, and it just hits every time.

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole vibe even better. And the portions? So generous. I always leave completely full and happy.

It’s also the perfect place to grab a glass of sake and just enjoy good food with friends. I’ve brought so many people here and it has never failed. Everyone ends up loving it.

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything, but the Langostino Roll is my absolute favorite. If you go, definitely get that — and don’t skip the sashimi.

“My wife, her cousin, and I stopped by here after Sunday mass for breakfast. First of all, it's in an old schoolhouse, which in and of itself, is super cool. The restaurant is will kept, clean, and has very nice decor. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich, her cousin, the fish and chips, and I ordered the chili cheese omelette. All three meals were delicious. This place is a gem. We will definitely be back in the near future.”

“My family loves to come here on our trips to Seal Beach. Sometimes we'll grab a a slice and other times a whole pizza or two. The sauce is so fresh and the cheese and toppings are delicious. I really enjoy the slightly crispy/slightly soft crust as well. Great pizza - definitely stop in.”

My wife and I stopped there as we were staying at the Hampton inn in the same area. I had a yellowtail roll along with tempura and my wife had the salmon. Vegetables were perfect presentation was spot on for casual dining and my roll was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect proportion of spicy tuna to yellowtail to rice. If I lived in the area I would go here at least once a week. Prices were also spot on and in many cases extremely reasonable. Bravo Kabuto!!! A special place!!”

“Taco Surf has been the favorite Mexican restaurant since first arriving within Orange County, in 2004! The staff is great, and if something is quite what you thought it would be, there are no questions ... all is replaced. (That only has happened on my end, once, however ... regarding onions, hence not a bit deal.)”

Hennessy's Grill is a pub and restaurant that serves food, drinks, and fun -- with awesome deals during the week.

The Food:
My party had lunch here specifically for the Thursday deal: $7 smash burgers. And we were pleasantly surprised to find out that not only was each smash burger huge (two cheese patties with bacon) but it also comes with fries. What a deal! Though it doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes, and it was a little greasy, the smash burger was large, juicy, and satisfying. The fries were also really good; crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside.

The Service:
Our server was friendly, knowledge, and quick to respond when we asked for help. She also did us a solid by providing a side of lettuce (so my mom could get her veggies in) without charging us extra.

The Atmosphere:
Picture an Irish (American) pub and that's exactly what you get here. Fun decor, TV screens, wood furniture, and a bar area. There's also a small covered outdoor area facing Main Street.

The Parking:
There's a very small parking lot but there's a free street parking. Just note that they fill up quickly during peak hours.

The Conclusion:
If you're looking for good (but not amazing gourmet) food in a lively place near the ocean, Hennessy's Grill will serve up a good time. Plus, look for different deals during the middle of the week if you're looking to stretch your dollar.”

🧀 SD Chorizo Chili-Mac: Zesty chorizo chili with Cheddar Jack Mac & Cheese garnished with fresh chives. Nostalgic! My first bite brought me back to childhood. If you ever had Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Mac, you’ll know what I’m talking about. But this version has real ooey gooey cheese. The chorizo chili is amazingly flavorful! Would love this on a burger or atop crispy potato wedges.
🍳 Benny on the Rocks: Beer battered potatoes, black forest, ham, soft poached fresh-cracked egg, classic hollandaise, truffle-dressed arugula, chives. Perfect breakfast! Crispy texture from the beer battered potatoes, saltiness from the Black Forest ham, velvety texture of the soft poached egg, richness from the hollandaise, alluring aroma of truffle, and bitterness from the arugula.
🌯 Portuguese Sausage Breakfast Burrito: Portuguese sausage, soft scrambled eggs, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, smoked paprika spread served with fresh salsa verde. Calling all of my peeps from Hawaii!!!! Portuguese sausage is on the menu! Absolutely loved this burrito! Everything was perfect! Just need a scoop of rice and scoop of mac salad!”

It had the right amount of sauce and a nice smoky flavor. We also had the tom yum soup and mango sticky rice. Both were delicious as well. The service was also great.
