“I had the best birthday dinner at Lalc! I had the Giant Sandwich loaded with Andouille sausage, brisket and pulled pork over slaw on a Ciabatta roll! It was soooo big I could only eat half! The Brussels spouts were amazing and the 5 cheese Mac and Cheese was the best we have ever had! 5 Star!!!! I must try!!!”

“My husband and I went to Patty's Place for our anniversary. We were thinking it was just your basic steak house. We were wrong. Nothing about Patty's is basic.I was shocked when we walked in. It has just enough elegance to enhance a cozy, and comfortable experience. The service was excellent and very friendly. Needless to say, the food was magnificent. I've never had side dishes be as delicious as the main meal. The potatoes and veggies were out of this world. ~ I can honestly say, " it was the best food I've ever eaten." This restaurant gets a 10 in my book.”

“Had the grilled fish sandwich. It was a nice piece of the catch of the day. It was grilled perfect. It was placed on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and a very good sauce. It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!”

“Sushi Hama is honestly the best sushi spot around here. It’s my go-to and still my all-time favorite in the area.

The fish quality is seriously so good — super fresh, clean, and just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The sashimi is a must. The cuts are thick and generous, and it just hits every time.

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole vibe even better. And the portions? So generous. I always leave completely full and happy.

It’s also the perfect place to grab a glass of sake and just enjoy good food with friends. I’ve brought so many people here and it has never failed. Everyone ends up loving it.

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything, but the Langostino Roll is my absolute favorite. If you go, definitely get that — and don’t skip the sashimi.

The cheesecake waffles with berry compote totally lived up to the hype. Even though it was pretty busy when I visited, the food came out surprisingly fast. The staff was friendly and clearly hustling. I was really impressed by how smoothly the team worked together!”

From the moment we walked in, it was an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel welcomed to pony up and get hydrated which Jasmine (bartender) made sure we were and with such kindness. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. We visit this area often and even though this was our 1st time, we'll be making more trips soon and plan on hitting Hennessy's...next time for food too...it looks amazing!!”

“Have been there several times and it never disappoints! We've had multiple items, most recently the ceviche plate and shrimp fajitas and these were magical. My wife is capsaicin (spicy) allergic but the shrimp fajitas were ok for her-lots of flavor! Waitstaff seems pretty honest about what is/isnt spicy. Seems like a locals place as it is tucked in behind other shops off PCH. Very relaxed vibe, with friendly service and reasonable prices. One of the best values you can get in any kind of coast proximity-not on the beach but not too far. Parking can be a minor challenge but you can usually fond a spot. The sizzling and steaming plates coming to tables provide some excitement and makes you want to try THAT next time!!”

“I went to Happy Hour at CPK yesterday. The food is always great. Our server Elizabeth was fun & attentive. We will ask for her again!! The Manager Eva was also a gem. She was ensuring everyone was happy with thier food & beverage choices. All in all, another fun afternoon at CPK thanx to Elizabeth & Eva.”

“I think this is where Bistro Huddy got its inspiration...but really, the food is great, especially the blueberry pancakes. WoW. I had the veggie omelet this time around. Word of warning, the coffee is terrible. Especially the cappuccino...tastes like a K-cup version. Not worth the $5.25 I paid, I couldn't finish it because of the weird aftertaste. As for service, everyone is very friendly. We got 'Nicole' for our waitress. Very FAST and efficient. (don't expect a warm and fuzzy conversation...) The food is gets onto the table so fast, you don't get a chance to ask questions before she's gone. Reminds me of YouTube KSenia..lolz. But for real...The Food is excellent. Nice quiet diner serving an older clientele, a nice outdoor patio just blocks from the beach. It can get chilly, so I recommend bringing a sweater. Enjoy!”

“This place sells corn dogs, if you didn't guess. Very tasty corn dogs, probably the best one I've ever had. They are $5. I wasn't even mad about it. They also have fries and some other options, but the corn dog is the star.

There is no seating inside, only a few benches nearby. Or you could walk out on the pier across the street and find a spot.”

“Worthy of a special trip! They took such care in their preparation. It’s not a glitzy place but the service was special. Counter order, lots of options. My wife and I stopped there as we were staying at the Hampton inn in the same area. I had a yellowtail roll along with tempura and my wife had the salmon. Vegetables were perfect presentation was spot on for casual dining and my roll was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect proportion of spicy tuna to yellowtail to rice. If I lived in the area I would go here at least once a week. Prices were also spot on and in many cases extremely reasonable. Bravo Kabuto!!! A special place!!”

“The hubs had the kabob platter and loved it. I had the vegetarian platter and while most of it was very good the falaffel however had the flavor of taco meat which was a bit off-putting so next time I’ll try something different.”

“The pizza what's delicious with thin crust. It's made to order right in front of you. It's set up like a basic fast food restaurant so the dining area is very basic and not the most comfortable. They have an outside dining area which does not provide any shade, so no one was choosing to sit there. I will definitely be going back when I get a pizza craving!”

“Great experience here, the crispy orange chicken was delicious, the soup, salad and egg roll was good too. The only issue I had was getting a drink refill, I asked for a refill and didn’t receive one, I had to forgo finishing my meal because I didn’t have a drink.”
