“If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. After an extremely disappointing experience at the Subway location at 2365 Seal Beach Blvd. (Immediately adjacent to the Hampton Inn), I found myself here.

Despite being busy, I was immediately greeted with a great smile and a genuine “Good Morning” by a young lady named Esther. She was a complete joy and 100% in contrast with the employee at the aforementioned location.

This place is clean, great location if you are around Main St. or the pier, and the vegetables were fresh. Esther is not only engaging and congenial, but fast, kind, and an obvious asset to her employer.

No disappointments here.“

“They left out 1 meat on the #13 at the Seal Beach store, the mar. Said he couldnt do any thing without the receipt but they didn't offer or give one to us. I will not go back there instradamento i will go to the Huntington Beach location. Furthermore, seal beach needs to clean this location i also found a tiny insect moving on the bread...“

“My fave sandwich and wrap place in Seal. I crave their pastrami wrap just about every week (since I discovered in 2020 that some Subway locations offer pastrami). Cheerful service by an older fellow and less so by the gals, generous with the toppings (I prefer extra veggies), good price point. Grateful to live close to this crew and location! Please add corned beef to the options. Thank you and more please!“

“I've lived around the corner from here and barely went for the first time and it was delicious. I got the chop cheese, my wife got the Philly cheese with no lettuce or tomato, fries, curly fries, and we won an order of onion rings by spinning the wheel at the cashier!

“This place has been here since I was a kid and I'm old. The current owners are doing a great job of honoring the history of the place while also bringing it current. Now has a bunch of special events and foods on certain days. Really a fun place. Wish them much success. I'll definitely be back.“

“It was my first time going to Urbane Cafe in a while and I wanted to sign up since I come to LBX more often. I wanted to use my voucher to get a free cookie, but it didn't work for me since the card I wanted to register on the app was not going through. The worker was so nice and decided to honor the voucher since I showed her that I really did sign up when I went.

The tomato bisque was good and I highly recommend getting there.

“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.“

“This sandwich shop is a gem in Long Beach. Its sandwiches are unique and delicious. It was my first time and I took the recommendation of the very nice woman at the counter. (Possibly the owner. I should have asked) The sandwich was rich and buttery, delicious and served on a pretzel roll. Perfect lunch time item just large enough to fill you up without pushing you over the limit. “We ordered the large hook n’ ladder with extra pickles and olives and chopped pickles in the sandwich. It was a fresh sandwhich, I love the bread (white) so soft like it was homemade. The sandwhich was loaded with meat. It is an outstanding quality and superb flavor the fries were a perfect balance of crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The food and so worth every penny. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend getting the app for the coupons. Definely going back again.“

The mango pineapple smoothie is $7.50 but MAN. That was the best smoothie I think I've ever had. I always wanted to try this place, since I always pass it on the bus. I finally did and it was a great experience. I highly recommend stopping by! I know I'll be back.“

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.“

“Growing up outside Philadelphia, I’m always on the hunt for authentic Philly cheese steaks. John’s has excellent cheese steaks and has been a Huntington Beach favorite for decades. The bread is amazing and baked locally which is a key ingredient to simply amazing sandwiches! They stuff a lot of meat and cheese and peppers and onions in there, and the result makes ya wanna shout, “Go Birds!” Someone will probably shout it back, too. If you like cheese steaks, yeah, get em the way ya like them at John’s!“

I can get rice with shrimp or some noodles or some spring rolls with dipping sauce already made fresh and delicious with a vietnamese coffee and be out the door faster than a drive thru would be. “It’s like an Oasis in an industrial desert; serving affordable large deli sandwiches, soups,chips and cookies.

Took a family adventure on the bus today to take my son to his ABA therapy and on our way back my younger daughter needed a bathroom.

To our luck it was a little after 2:40 and the sandwich box was open until 3:00pm and right next to our bus stop.

So we stopped in for the bathroom and I noticed they have a robust menu and a very clean kitchen and dining room.

The prices are affordable and the sandwiches are large.
Both of my Daughters filled up on half a sandwich each. My youngest daughter says she gives it 10 stars and wants to come back for some soup.“

“I knew about this place since it opened back in the late 2010s with the 1st owner. This is 2nd owner that took over couple yrs back. Still carry out the same menu and same foods and quality. Prices are still decent and affordable. They known for sandwiches or banh mi and egg rolls but they do have other dishes too. The owner, she is nice and friendly and very helpful. Sometime she is the only one in the store with several customers so wait can be awhile but the foods are good. The place is clean and plenty of parking spaces. They do have to go ready packed and plenty of drinks. Overall nice place for good foods with good services. They do have tables & chairs inside and outside if you decided to dine in.“

Nice sized sandwich hollowed out bread wrapped nicely. It’s a small shop plan on 10 min visit. About 9$ a sandwich. They greeted me took my order right away.“

“I have loved this place for years!! I used to work near by and came all the time for lunch... its the only thing I miss about that job. Whenever I am near by, I make sure to get a salmon sandwich with mushrooms and onions added😋

I now work on the road and was passing by during lunch today, so I called in a take out order. When I got to the restaurant, I realized I had left my wallet in my other bag! I explained and told the boss that I couldn't pay, but he let me take the sandwich! I left my name and phone number, and called back later and he was able to take my info over the phone.

“so I've had the sandwiches here a few times during some work meetings. Pretty good spot my usual go to has been the chicken cesar salad sandwich but yesterday I had the roast beef sandwich. The roast beef sandwich is really good. I thought the arugula would be too much but it worked so well with the cheese, horseradish and tender beef. I wish had that sandwich right now lol . 10/10“
