“It was my first time going to Urbane Cafe in a while and I wanted to sign up since I come to LBX more often. I wanted to use my voucher to get a free cookie, but it didn't work for me since the card I wanted to register on the app was not going through. The worker was so nice and decided to honor the voucher since I showed her that I really did sign up when I went.

The tomato bisque was good and I highly recommend getting there.

“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.“

“This sandwich shop is a gem in Long Beach. Its sandwiches are unique and delicious. It was my first time and I took the recommendation of the very nice woman at the counter. (Possibly the owner. I should have asked) The sandwich was rich and buttery, delicious and served on a pretzel roll. Perfect lunch time item just large enough to fill you up without pushing you over the limit. I highly recommend stopping by.“

The roast beef sandwich is really good. I thought the arugula would be too much but it worked so well with the cheese, horseradish and tender beef. I wish had that sandwich right now lol . 10/10“

Occupying the former location of a Wahoo's at the LBX, Mendocino Farms had a QR code in front of their under construction building. The QR code was for a Free Entree w/ purchase once the restaurant opens. Not one to pass up free food, I made sure to use my phone to scan & sign up. Once open, I was ready to check out Mendocino Farms for the first time.

The menu at Mendocino Farms consists primarily of sandwiches, salads & soup. After a quick perusal, I thought the Peruvian Steak sandwich best whet my appetite.

Peruvian Steak sandwich-
Spicy aji amarillo marinated steak with Oaxacan cheese, herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes, shredded romaine on a toasted potato roll. I quite liked this. Tender steak, with fatty cheese. The vegetables provided contrast & texture. For my purchase, I went with a side of Southern Potato Salad. It was good, but similar to grocery deli potato salad. In hindsight, I should've purchased avocado added to my Peruvian Steak sandwich.

Service was excellent. All hands were on deck, as Mendocino Farms opened only a few days prior. Each employee had a name badge, specifying their name & which entree was their favorite, helping indecisive customers choose what to get. Plenty of seating indoors & al fresco. Parking is at LBX, with Mendocino Farms being across Georgia's and facing the Hangar at LBX.

I found the Peruvian Steak sandwich delicious, yet meager in quantity, considering the regular price. It's more of a substantial snack, than a full meal, in my case. However, it's great to have another quality food option in the area, and I look forward to coming back & exploring the rest of menu.“

They do have a few small tables and stools to dine in , unfortunately the room felt humid . I don't know if it's due to being 30 minutes to closing and they choose not to run the AC ..

They have great drinks selections and varieties of sandwiches options.
My children had a mango passion fruit tea and Thai ice tea .
My kids mentioned the Mango passion fruit drink were delicious and mildly sweet , same for the Thai ice tea , not overly sweet which suited their taste buds.“

“It's attached to the Long Beach Courthouse so PARKING ISN'T FREELY AVAILABLE.. YOU HAVE TO WALK THERE from wherever you found parking. Otherwise, it's a nice place to relax before or after a day in court, file a case, or go over your proceedings. There are tables inside and several available tables to enjoy the warm sunshine outside, which are MY FAVORITE!!??“

“I had breakfast here for the first time. I had the Phnom Penh Noodles and Iced Coffee. The broth was good, average portion size, but lacking meat toppings The rice noodles was firm. Condiments comes in packets. Iced coffee was weak and it does have a weird aftertaste. They sell traditional Khmer desserts as well. I will try the shaved iced next time. Most of the customers are takeout out orders, but they do have a few tables for dine in. The restaurant is clean and tidy, including the bathroom.“

“This was my first time trying Jersey Mike’s! I’ve always eaten at Subway, but I heard a lot of people have been going to Jersey Mike’s lately, so I wanted to give it a try.
The staff made my sandwich really quickly. I ordered the #13 Original Italian, and it was fresh and really good! The portion was a little big for me, so I had them cut it in half and I only ate half.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and I’ll definitely come back!“
