“I was at Heritage to celebrate a special occasion — the restaurant was cozy and homey. The kitchen was right in front of us, so the whole room was filled with different aromas. Both the service and food were great. The first few courses were delicious, adding a bit of extra excitement to the meal. That said, for a restaurant charging $195/person with a Michelin star, serving food and beverages on a cracked plate and in a chipped cup felt off. When I asked the staff about it, she gave me a smirk and downplayed it with some excuses and brushed it off. Better quality control may be needed as your guests deserve better.“

“This place is always busy. We find seating there at the counter and we do not need to wait for 20 minutes. We love the bean soup? And the apple pie was great.“

“I visit Nonna Mercato once a week. They use organic ingredients and make consistently amazing food - their avocado toast, cappuccino and matcha latte are great! Pastas are good too. Highly recommend the almond croissant!

“Wow. Our entire experience was phenomenal, from our first interaction with the hostess to walking out the door.

Chef Walter has created a robust, impressive Italian menu, and Scott, the sommelier, was fantastic. His knowledge of wine really stood out to me, and his recommendations made the dining experience that much better. He picked the perfect bottle for our specific food and occasion. He clearly knows his wine and brings a level of expertise and enthusiasm that makes you appreciate the entire dining experience even more.

“As a gluten and dairy free girlie, I am obsessed with Twice Baked. I was able to order the wedding cake of my dreams! We had a two tiered lemon cake, with fresh raspberries and cream cheese frosting on the inside and vanilla butter cream on the outside. The design was exactly what I had asked for. The team was so helpful and communicative. albeit, not cheap, worth every penny! Most of our guests preferred this cake over the regular one was also served.“

“Came here while attending a conference at the Westin, looking for interesting coffee… and they certainly have that here. They had two different coffees on drip and I chose one from Uganda - I think my first time I’ve had a coffee from there. It was quite good. They have coffees from like 12 different countries they roast themselves at another location in bags for purchase. Really nice spaces indoors and out. Definitely recommend.“

“Komo Cocina is such a gem in Long Beach! The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Danny and Morgan were especially amazing and made the experience even better! ❤

Unfortunately, during our visit, there was a family being extremely loud, with kids running up and down the restaurant, which made it a little difficult to fully enjoy the atmosphere. That said, I know that’s not something the restaurant can necessarily control.

Overall, Komo Cocina is an amazing spot with great food, drinks, and incredible staff. I would absolutely recommend it, and I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌮🍹✨“

“I like to stop at this donut place when I'm in the area. They have a large variety of donuts and they all look delicious. Prices are reasonable. I usually get a mocha ice blended drink. The man who helped me last time fulfilled my request to have the drink extra blended (sometimes the ice is too chunky to drink through a straw when it's not blended enough). He was kind about helping me out. The lady is so kind too. I was having a rough time one day and she shared some kind words with me that kept me going. This place isn't located in the best part of town, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it - the food and the staff in particular.“

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect. And you could taste so many layered flavors and not just the spice! I thought it was EXCELLENT. Also loved the side of avocado mac salad. “Moon bowls are my go-to delivery food. Healthy, great care taken with meal prep and a perfect portion for me. Affordable and nutritious. They also have great customer service and are very engaged, patient and responsive to text messages. I don’t think they have a physical location and this is more like a ghost kitchen, which took a minute for me to understand at first. But since then I have ordered from them at least a dozen times and introduced them to other locals who also love their food. Hope they stay with us in LBC forever!“
