“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“

“We had breakfast at Zuzu’s Petals on a Saturday morning and arrived around 8:30 a.m. Parking took a little patience—we circled the block once or twice—but we found a spot within about a block of the restaurant.
There was about a 10–15 minute wait to order. The pace here is definitely relaxed, but that was part of the charm. I was catching up with a friend, and everyone waiting in line seemed to be in a good mood, so it felt more like part of the experience than an inconvenience.
After ordering at the counter, you receive a number and the staff brings your food to your table. The food wasn’t fast, but it also wasn’t excessively slow—it arrived at a comfortable, leisurely pace that fit the overall vibe of the restaurant. We sat on the covered sidewalk patio, which was pleasant and shaded, and by the time we finished, the line had grown all the way around the corner. Clearly this place is popular.
I ordered the skillet with drip coffee. Everything was well prepared and satisfying, and my total came to about $26 before tip, which felt pretty typical for the area.
Our server wasn’t constantly checking in or refilling coffee automatically, but whenever we needed something and got their attention, they were happy to help with a smile.
One thing to be aware of: the restaurant adds a 4% wellness charge to every check, with a note on the menu explaining that it supports employee compensation and wellness initiatives and the entirety of the charge is retained by the company. The menu also states that the charge can be removed if requested.
Overall, Zuzu’s Petals has a welcoming, neighborhood feel with good food and a relaxed atmosphere“

“If you haven’t been to Cava yet, let me save you the suspense. From the moment you walk in, the ingredients look fresh, and the entire team moves with purpose and professionalism. You can tell right away they take pride in what they do and that starts at the top with Stavo.
Stavo was so sweet, friendly, and overall amazing. I absolutely loved his personality! You can tell he genuinely cares about both the people he works with and every single guest who walks through the door.
Now let me talk about something that surprised me.
I have never tried their Mint Cucumber drink before because I simply do not like anything minty. Ever! Stavo suggested I give it a try. I asked him directly, “Is it minty?” He confidently told me it wasn’t overpowering and that it’s actually one of their top drinks. And let me just say he did not lie!!!!
The Mint Cucumber was divine. So refreshing. Light, crisp, and perfectly balanced. It wasn’t overwhelmingly minty at all just clean and cooling in the best way. Thank you for that suggestion, Stavo. You converted me!
And while we’re here, if you haven’t had their Pita Chips, you are absolutely missing out. They are the BEST. Perfectly crisp, lightly salted, and dangerously addictive. Make sure you get them when they’re fresh and come right out that’s when they’re at their peak. Trust me on this one.
The food is consistently amazing fresh greens, flavorful proteins, creamy hummus, vibrant toppings everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. But what truly makes this location stand out is the experience. The teamwork. The hospitality. The leadership.
Five stars simply don’t feel like enough. 👏🏾“

“The food was terrific. The pizza is the best in Southern California. And the Brazino was perfectly cooked. Tony , the GM, welcomed us after we're seated, and our servers Jesse and Lu, were outstanding throughout the entire meal. So it was great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.“

“This place is definitely worth the walk from the aquarium. We didn’t want to eat at one of the chain restaurants so we ventured out a little and we were so glad we did! I would eat here regularly if I lived in Long Beach.
The friendliness of the staff was the first thing we noticed. The menu had so many good sounding sandwiches we had a hard time deciding.
Everything on our sani’s was very fresh tasting and looking.
The Beach Hut Deli is top notch for a delicious sandwich that is made to look as good as the pictures.
We loved the music also.“

“We’re visiting Long Beach and happened upon this place. We got the Caesar salad and a dirty pepperoni pizza- both were absolutely delicious! The salad had a bit too much dressing for my liking but it was perfectly garlicky. The pizza was crisp, hot, and absolutely delightful. The salad could easily feed 3 people! If we lived here we would eat their pizza all the time.“
“Went during grand opening weekend--the steak dish was OK, nothing to rave about.
Again today for the hot honey chicken special. Ordering digitally for someone thawing from the Ice Age takes practice, lots of patience, a dash of sheer frustration, but I got it.
Love that one could customize the order, a great feature.
Sadly, watery diarrhea almost 2 hrs later. Lucky I had just gotten home. Bathroom is off limits for the next hour. :/
Update:
Ordered another hot honey chicken protein bowl yesterday, a tad nervous, but no issue. Delicious. Got better at customizing to max nutrition.
Huge bowl. Great value for 49g of protein, $12 March special.
Turns out my two daughters like Sweet Green a lot, almost as much as Cava.
04/02/26 update:
loved the March Hot Honey Chicken protein bowl deal--only watery diarrhea once out of 8 bowls or so.
TODAY, my 1st power greens bowl deal, I felt something wasn't right as I was finishing it on site, but rushed off to pilates--rumbly in my tummy and almost 3 hrs later, watery diarrhea. Ay, Dios mio!“

“Very good burgers for a good price, theyre fairly big I got their deal of the sandwich that was actually good, sadly the half portion was smaller than how it looked in the picture. Overall a quick grab for late night burger munchies. Will come here again when I want a nice burger that's a slightly more healthy. :)“

“Great Chick-fil-A!
Employees are always kind thoughtful and helpful!
I have been going to Chick-fil-A since the original opened in 1981 in Cerritos California. I used to help out a dear friend during the holidays at Things Remembered; right next door to where it first came into the Cerritos Mall and I ti this day still love Chick-fil-A. This Franchise is a great part of the Chick-fil-A family!
Thank you to the owner of this franchise for really taking time to do time things for people who use the app.
I was becoming concerned about going to Chick-fil-A because of how expensive it's become but with all the extra rewards that they take time to give it has brought me back going more and more every week. Thank you!
I highly recommend!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem for Affordable, Delicious Breakfast!
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that’s both affordable and satisfying, Everytable is the place to be. What I love most is how they’ve created a menu that feels homemade, fresh, and healthy without the high price tag you’d normally expect.
The portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and the presentation makes you feel like you’re dining at a much fancier spot. Their breakfast bowls and wraps are perfect for a quick grab-and-go start to the day, but you can also sit and enjoy in a clean, welcoming environment.
The best part? The prices are unbeatable. You can get a wholesome breakfast here for the cost of a coffee elsewhere. It’s clear that Everytable isn’t just about serving food—it’s about making good meals accessible to everyone.
Friendly staff, fast service, and food that fuels you right. Honestly, I wish more places followed this model.
MONICA'S BREAKFAST BURRITO 💯 DELICIOUS! 😋
👉 Highly recommend Everytable to anyone who wants a budget-friendly, tasty, and healthy breakfast option.“

“Had an amazing experience at Crystal Thai Cambodia Restaurant, tucked on the corner of 10th and Orange in Long Beach. I’m all about home-cooked, comfort-style food, and this place absolutely nailed it.
The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the stir-fried water spinach was fresh and delicious, and the crispy pork spareribs were cooked to perfection. I also loved the Khmer curry and papaya salad — every dish had that authentic, homemade touch that’s hard to find.
If this spot were down the street from me, I’d be there every day. Highly recommended!
Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, so come prepared.“

“Everytable at Kilroy in Long Beach is basically the Cadillac of workspace cafeterias—if you’re going to be stuck on calls all day or powering through laptop life, this is the place you want to be. The vibe is modern corporate chic, but not sterile—high ceilings, lots of natural light, sleek wood tones, and enough space between tables that you’re not forced into an accidental team meeting with the stranger next to you.
Food-wise, it’s solid and consistent. This isn’t Michelin-star dining, but it’s not trying to be. The menu rotates, the ingredients are fresh, and there’s a real effort to accommodate different dietary preferences without making it feel like an afterthought. You’ll find wraps, bowls, salads, and even comfort food with some ambition.
The staff are friendly, efficient, and keep things running smoothly without hovering. It never feels rushed, but it also never drags—which is exactly what you want in a professional setting. And while most buildings of this caliber would offer a sad little snack bar or some vending machine afterthought, Everytable is a true amenity. A place that makes you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth just for showing up to work. Five stars for being the best version of what it is.“

“Heritage Restaurant, Long Beach – A Well-Earned Michelin Star by Michael Broderick. In a city where “Californian” culinary ambition often plays second fiddle to casual dining, Heritage in Long Beach has carved out a place of quiet excellence, earning a well-deserved Michelin star. This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Desserts were a study in technique and balance. The first, a Grilled Strawberry with strawberry granita and Meyer lemon crème, was bright and refreshing, its layers revealing different expressions of cool and sweetness. Then came the Coco Craquelin, a delicate choux pastry filled with beurre noisette ganache and banana cremeux, meant to be eaten with the hands—a playful and interactive moment in the meal. Finally, a Sage Basque Cake, its subtle herbaceousness complemented by toasted hemp seeds and lemon curd, provided a grounding, crispy finish. Heritage is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t simply chase trends—it refines them into something personal, something intentional. The execution is confident but never showy, and the experience is paced with precision, allowing each dish to tell its own story. This is not just a meal—it’s a quiet, profound meditation on flavor, technique, and the land from which it all comes. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.“
