“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!“
“As their place is on the smaller size, we opted to do carry out since we were going for a saturday dinner. It wasn't a long wait and we reheated in the oven as soon as we got home. We got both Thai Curry and Tom Yum and both were SO good. Would totally come back for this again!“
“The matador was spicier than expected, but super delicious, my husband is not vegan and confirms that its not just good for vegan pizza its delicious for pizza in general. When we realized how spicy it was the 10 year old with us was taken aback and we were fully prepared to go take him to eat elsewhere, but I believe it was the owner came out with a pizza that had been a mistake pizza for him and he LOVED it. Best food and service we could have ever asked for! The 10 year old is also FAR from vegan and was raving about it, plus he loved the free kazoo, although I did have to ask him to stop due to trying to maintain the very relaxed ambiance.“
“This place is a gem. I told my husband I'll write a review because he loves this place - the silent movies playing in the background at night, the pizza with the dough cooked through with a little char, and even when we're not in the mood for pizza we'll come here for salads and appetizers. Any time it was his turn to prepare dinner we ended up here - he loved the vibe of this place, the familiar faces and awesome service. I told him this review was for him but it's really for me too. We will miss you, Thunderbolt Pizza! Thank you, Jay, Christie, and Tyler for being part of our family for the last 2+ years.“
“I've heard about Little Coyote for a while, and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered their Italian sub sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. The meat portions were very generous, and with their seasoning, put it over the top. $15 plus tax, it was worth it (made two meals out of it). I'll be returning to explore more of their menu.“
“Came to visit last night. The pizza was delicious, perfect! My companion enjoyed the beer. It was karaoke night and the place had a very welcome, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a great neighborhood spot where you feel comfortable, have good food, good beer, a good time and leave satisfied. The man who runs this place is a good support to his community. Thank You!“
“Great little pizza spot. We had a full pizza that was half pepperoni and half cheese, a slice of white, the classic Italian sub and the antipasto salad.I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get the pizza again, but if it were in my own neighborhood I would probably eat there all the time. The sandwich and salad were both huge.Great little patio space.“
“Absolutely divine pizza. Six decades of pizza eating and this is top 2. In Long Beach it's #1. Fresh dough is evident by the hint of flour on the bottom of the crust from the first bite. Sausage is incredibly flavorful and the quality cheese and sause make eating this the next day wonderful, no microwave needed. Antipasto salad was large and full of meat olives and cheese. The delivery is fast, everything arriving hot and fresh. If you're in Long Beach you have to try this place. ✨✨✨✨✨“
“Excellent food and service. We don't usually drive this far for restaurants but any time we're in the neighborhood this is a must stop. Oxtail ragout gnocchi is outstanding. Especially appreciated that chef Giuseppe insisted on replacing our pasta bolognese when I asked for more sauce. The pride he shows in his work is very much appreciated. Be sure to check out the chalk board daily specials. During covid lock down we came often to take his specials home. Well worth the trip.Parking: Parking structure across the street is reasonably priced“
“Great food and dining experience. This ain't your old Papalucci's. We started with the Margarita pizza (perfection), Caesar salad, main course and finished with the crème brûlée (delicious). My wife and I will definitely be back. We splurged tonight since it was our first experience there but looking forward to trying other items.“
“Marri's has been an institution in Long Beach for as long as I can remember. The "graffiti wall" is legendary, and I have memories of eating there a few times as a child. I was "reintroduced" to Marri's when a good friend reminded me of them nearly 30 years ago and my wife and I have been regulars ever since. The staff is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. My wife, and several of our friends have sampled various pasta dishes, and we don't know if they're "authentic", but they're definitely amazong. As a lifelong TMMT fan, I've always been into pizza, and while I'll eat most any pizza -except those Mama Celeste ones made of paper plates and garbage - there are definitely tiers. If Pizza Hut is the equivalent of McDonalds, then Marri's is the pizza equivalent of Ruth's Chris without the price tag, or pretension. The dough isn't a cracker, or Brooklyn thin, but neither is it deep dish thick. A solid "hand-tossed" base that's just flavorful enough without being too much. Where a lotpizza is better the next day because the sauce has had time to age - Marri's sauce is perfect right out of the oven. They're toppings are fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. And, finally, they're marinara is thick, gooey, and generously heaped on top - if you're not an I like some pizza with my cheese person, like me, you won't need to worry about adding extra like you do in most places just to get adequate coverage. If you live in Long Beach, or are just visiting, and you've never been, do yourself a favor - Go see Shelly and Julio for a slice, or 12. And, if you have been there - IKYK ?“
“I do not know you, have never ate their.I read on the news your kindness in helping an elderly woman being attacked and robbed. You were badly hurt trying to help a stranger. I wish we had more people like you!!Get well soon, and God Bless.Floyd“
“Only had the food once it was pizza at a music venue, can't complain. Service was music venue Service, cant really complain. I've been to 15+ shows here, always great. I think in the last 5 or so years, someone came in to change the sound system, and it only got better. 8.8 out of 10 for me.“
“I love their pizza here when they get it right, being consistent when people are spending their hard earned money is critical. Nice looking place with beautiful hanging lights. However, when the cats away, the mice will play. ? Staff can be a HUGE flip flop. Some are sweet, others if owners not around can be not so nice. And the thing is people actually care how they are treated or others around them. So room for improvement. Hope the info. Helps.“
“Such a great, welcoming environment!! We were so well taken care of from the second we walked in until we left. Zandra took care of our drinks and food order and was so efficient. So quick to refill our drinks and was so sweet the entire time! She overheard us talking about hot sauce and was sweet enough to bring her OWN personal bottle over for us! Can't recommend this place enough, and that's coming from a manager of a brewery myself. Definitely check these guys out! (Also great beer!!!!)“
“I just came back from Chicago a week ago, and this pizza is exactly like Chicago style pizza! Their pizza crust is crispy and has such a good flavor, their marinara sauce is very thick and rich as well. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR WINGSSS, THE BEST IVE EVER HAD If your craving authentic Chicago style pizza, this is the place to go!! (Service was amazing as well!)“
“Just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The person whom delivered also took the time to explain details of not shutting the box completely closed because in doing so, it’ll soften the pizza crust and he was right. It was served hot and fresh. Will definitely order from this place “
“Our favorite neighborhood hang right now! Riley's never disappoints. I love the Watermelon Margarita. They have a decent beer selection. All the food is excellent! The Poke Wonton Tostadas and Ceviche are delicious and reliable appetizers. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad and the Steak Salad are two of my favorites. They serve very, very good pizzas and burgers. But my absolute all time favorite item on the Riley's menu is the Smash Burger. This burger is perfect in every way!!! If you haven't checked Riley's out yet, I recommend you do.“
“My friends and I were having Chinese food next door and one of my other friends decided on getting a cheese pizza from Pizzamania. I tried a slice and let me just say it was the damn best slice of cheese pizza I ever had. The crust was soft and chewy, sauce was right, cheese was excellent, and the bottom of the slice was just perfect. Will definitely come back to Pizzamania.“
“It’s very rare these days where you find a place where they take the time to have a conversation with you about the history of their place. At Valentino’s Pizza, they not only do that, but they also provide the best veggie pizza that I have had in a while. The wings are juicy and not over cooked , like a lot of other places. Oh yea, and you’ll need a glass of milk for the brownie. I’m sure I’ll be back due to the good service and good people, and great food!!!! Tell somebody about Valentino’s on PCH, in Long Beach, I AM!!!!!!!!“
“The pizza was delicious and was actually served piping hot. (not always so at other pizza places) Amazing beer selection. They had one of my favorites... Pliny the Elder. The music seems loud but we were able to easily hold a conversation (which was nice because we gathered from 3 different states).“
“A bunch of great beer, and the pizza is pretty good too. I wanted to buy some bread too, but they were out.Vegetarian options: Most, if not all, of the pizzas were vegetarian, but not vegan. We got the wild mushroom, margherta, and granny slice. The other option might've had meat, but I don't remember.“
“My dad and I stumbled upon this small family owned Italian restaurant the other day and I seriously considered sharing it cause it's such a gem. It's been around for 20 years! They serve up the most authentic Italian food I've ever tasted in California. The calzone, the authentic pasta dishes, the cozy atmosphere, the homemade desserts, and the personal touch from the owner all come together and I felt like I was having dinner in nonna's house. We had the daily special (pasta asparagus with chicken). There's no heavy sauce to duel out the flavors, everything is so savory and fresh and al dente without being sticky, I could taste each thing, the chicken, the asparagus, the tomato... Everything is made fresh everyday and perfectly cooked. The calzone was my personal favorite. The crust was perfectly crispy, and there wasn't too much of it on the edges. It was hands down the best I've ever had. Nothing feels rushed. There's a deli inside as well. The owner comes out to greet every customer personally and genuinely cares about their feedback. It's refreshing to see someone so passionate about their restaurant and the people who dine there. We got a complimentary salad with homemade dressing. For dessert we went for the cannoli, cheesecake and spumoni, but they also have tiramisu on the menu. We got some delicious coffee in a French press which was so amazing! They have a whole espresso machine for more elaborate drinks. The quality of the food you get here is unbeatable for the price and the personal touch. It's a steal, really and rare for a restaurant these days. My dad is a tough critic but loved every bite and couldn't stop raving about it“
“I've been coming to this place since they opened. I was one of their first customers when they were at their old spot just around the way from where they are now. That place was bigger. Doesn't matter, Milana's has the best pizza in Long Beach.Parking: Free parking for 2 hours“
“Pizza x Two serves up simple pizza that, instead of doing something overly fancy or complicated, excels at the fundamentals. It always delivers exactly what I want when I'm craving an affordable pizza. The workers are all very friendly, and you can tell the staff work together well as a team. However, every time I've ordered online, the food isn't ready on time. The notification will tell you it'll be ready in about 20 minutes, so I usually come in 30. After I approach the cashier though, it's usually 40-50 minutes total. Their restaurant is super busy, so I understand if they are behind on my order, but I think they should update their notifications to better reflect when orders are typically ready.Part of me also wishes this restaurant was more enjoyable for dine-in! The staff are great, but it's just not built to be a nice place to chill. Overall though, I still love this place, more than Little Coyote (the neighborhood competition). The experience is super consistent and I'm always happy with my pizza.“
“I have been going here for years. Pizza is the best in town, the owner and staff are very nice people and it’s worth every penny because they make the most high caliber pizza that is made. There’s no skimping on toppings and the cheese is real cheese! I’m a very loyal customer and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best pizza in town!“
“Was on my way back home from the Queen Mary when I spotted this little pizza joint. It immediately caught my eye and I pulled over to give it a try! They had a great variety of appetizers and sides to pair with your pizza. I got a classic pepperoni and it was pretty great! And the price is really great too! I only spent about $33 for 1 large pizza and 3 appetizers along with 3 drinks, so very reasonable! The sides were delicious. I ordered the mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and jalapeño poppers. The mozzarela sticks were nice and crispy. Garlic bread was nice and garlicy, and super soft with a slight chew. Jalapeño poppers were an actual jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese which pairs well with the acidity of the pepper, and they're definitely not too spicy which I prefer.Overall I'd definitely go back! They had some specialty pizza options to choose from and the chicken alfredo one caught my eye. I'll definitely be back to try out something new along with a few of the other appetizers they offer.“
“Best pizza in town, in my opinion. I always come here for 3 slices of pizza, the pizza tastes better than Little Caesars, my opinion. Great service. The slices are descent and can't beat the price per slice of pizza unless you go to Costco, but why drive so far of your close to this great pizza spot.“
“Upon my initial visit to this establishment, I was immediately captivated by the interior aesthetics. The decorations were truly impressive, and the cleanliness of the place was commendable. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service provided by an employee named Raven. She made me feel incredibly welcome and was remarkably easy to converse with, as if we had known each other for years despite having just met that day. Since our interaction, I have been a consistent patron of this establishment. Even if I were not a local resident, I would willingly make the drive to this location in order to enjoy the company of others and, of course, to see Raven on the days she works. Now, let's discuss David, the manager. He, too, possesses remarkable customer service skills and always ensures that I feel welcome and attended to whenever he is present. I must also commend the owner, Mike, for the outstanding job he has done in creating this place. The entire process of its inception is truly commendable, as it has provided the community with a wonderful space to enjoy their meals and the company of their loved ones.I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and comfortable environment. Personally, I often opt for their sausage and mushroom pizza, which never fails to satisfy. Although I have yet to try their burgers, they are next on my list. I did, however, sample their spicy wings, which unfortunately did not appeal to my taste. Nevertheless, the rest of the menu is consistently excellent. Each time I visit, I have the opportunity to meet new people, further enhancing the sense of belonging and homeliness this place offers. Additionally, the music selection is superb, further adding to the overall enjoyable experience.“
“Came for DJ Jackson with my brother and his girlfriend!I couldn’t consume alcohol and this time, but to look cool I ordered a Mocktail and it was very good! The gentleman at the bar was very kind and made me what tasted like a gummy bear! The vibe was pretty cool and met some pretty fun characters there! Definitely will be back when back in Cali!“
“Whoever made my pizza order did a great job I know it was a bit much, so whoever did it was either, " Yes, a challenge!" Or was like, " well this bish..." lol. So I'm glad it came out well and tasted just as good too. Thank you artist . I shall be back for more challenges“
“We ordered and were amazed and pleased at the food's taste and quality ?. Everyone will find something here they like. The meatballs were huge. The sausages tender and the pasta cooked perfect. 100% real Italian sauce. A huge, delicious, and perfectly cooked cheese calzone. Finally, supurb customer service.“
“Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food. Great ambiance, great service, great food.“
“This restaurant is officially my go-to pizza place after trying it for the first time today. Gone are the days where you can find an affordable pizza without breaking the piggy bank... till I discovered Cityside Pizza Palace. Do not let the outside look of the location fool you. You need to try this pizza for yourself. They don't go light on the toppings or cheese like other pizza locations that charge you almost $30 for a pizza that costs no more than $10 altogether when buying in bulk (which every pizza place does). Their wings are also delicious and pretty huge in my opinion. I will be returning soon. You definitely get your money's worth here.“
“Easy and fast delivery to the Residence Inn on Queensland. The pizza and crust are good. A little pricey, but that is subjective to what part of the country you’re from and what you are used to paying. The delivery driver was nice and automatically brought paper plates, red pepper, and grated cheese. This is exactly what people want when they order food. Thanks! I recommend and would order again.“
“This has been my favorite place to get ah Calzone in long beach. The prices on all the food are super affordable and a good bang for your buck. Can't beat ah Calzone and soda for ten bucks. Just tried there meatball sub and wings the other day because I've always just gotten the Calzone. The sub and wings were amazing!! Definitely ah gem in Long Beach!!Parking: Usually spots out front on the street.“
“Delicious pizza! Taken on New Year's Eve 2024 in Grand Park, Los Angeles!!!The dough is excellent! Only negative thing? The garlic!!! Too much garlic! Garlic flavor too strong! Please less garlic!!!! Garlic is good but pizza must be a combination of flavors that makes it unique!!! The environment only 2 stars because it was the kiosk in the square. Price really too expensive! $20 dollars for a marinara pizza eaten standing up!“
“This is by far the BEST PIZZA in Long Beach. The toppings are fresh & the crust is perfectly thin. If you like a more breaded pizza, then the edges will satisfy your desire. Everyone that works here & others that hangs out are friendly & authentic. It’s nice to have a great pizzeria near South . I’ve dined in & used take out. Norse Way is a quaint street.“
“IT WAS MY FIRST TIME ORDERING FROM HERE. MOST DEFINITELY THE BEST PIZZA IVE HAD SINCE MOVING DOWN THIS WAY. IT WAS DELIVERED FAST AND HOT. WINGS WAS COOKED WELL DONE LIKE ASKED N THE FLAVOR OF THE PIZZA WAS INCREDIBLE. MOST DEFINITELY 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“
“One of the best deep dish pizza in Southern California. The service was awesome. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The chefs have done an awesome job training the employees. If you plan on ordering a deep dish pizza I would call ahead because it takes sometime to make, but it's well worth it.“
“Oh man... authentic pizza dough and high quality ingredients rolled by hand. That Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese definitely adds that wow factor. When you bite into it, it melts in your mouth while providing that impressive quality cheese flavor. Options range from jalepeno, NY 3 cheese, pepperoni, j*** chicken, and classic mozzarella. I've now tried 3, looking forward to doing the jalepeno one next. A handheld pizza you can walk around with... it doesn't get much better than that. I found them where all the food trucks line up across from LACMA during lunch hours.“
“My go to place for a sit down neighborhood pizza joint! Just don't sleep on the wings! Always meaty wings and super saucy if that's your thing! Antipasto salad really good here but this salad always makes me smile when I see the pickles in it!“
“This place has hands down the best pizza!! Also the soft serve is sooooooo good to have on that hot beach day after a delicious slice of pizza. Their deep dish Detroit style pizza has become my go to.. soooooooo good. The people who work there are amazing also. They always take care of you, and I love the atmosphere they create.Parking: At night there is easy parking in the car wash next door. During the day there is always free street parking.“
“My first pizza from here I’m not a big deep dish type of pizza person but I have to say this is authentic. New York style pizza. The crust is amazing. The sauce is out of this world I’ll be returning back.I ordered the margarita and it was an excellent choice. The cheese, the sauce everything just delightful. This is our local spot now.“
“Pretty good pizza for the prices butter that pizza hut its real pizza... I ordered on uber eats..I normally order from pizza x two on 7th (which I LOVE) this pizza place is different not the same. Wings are good and lots of toppings on the pizza. My salad had water in the bottom it was soggy didn't eat it.“
“I've tried the other location in Gardena and this one. This location has recently opened so there are a few links to iron out. They were friendly but forgot part of my take out order. I had the short ribs. They were tasty but I did not care for the mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese much. Still worth a try. I usually get the shrimp and grits so I wanted to try something new. Also this location is bigger than the one in Gardena l, but so far I prefer Gardena. But please give this location a try“
“I personally was not a fan of the pizza, too thick, too cheesy, smelled of parmesan. BUT my mom and sister said they like it A LOT. They Garlic Knots though, FIRE! Probably the best garlic knots I've had. Super flavorful, the bread had good texture. Delicious w/ marinara sauce! Definitely recommend the Garlic Knots!“
“Wow I that's the best pizza I buy from there at least 3 times a week , I think it's a family business good place , the only thing I'm going to say because I never say nothing bad anyone so I'm just saying this , please let's retrain just one of the workers it's no one's fault not everyone knows how to have a good gramer and customer service that's all so let's support them people“
“Not going to lie, they know me by name. I'm more than in love with this place. I eat here at least once a week, and treat myself after going to the beach on Saturdays.Eating healthy when you go for pizza can be hard, but their cauliflower pizza is the best I've ever had. Plus, they are always happy to accommodate my specific requests for toppings. Also, if you want the best homemade jumbo chocolate chip cookie this is the place to go.There service is amazing and the wait is not long.“
“Magnificent, fabulous, the most delicious sexiest pizza I’ve ever had.The service is beyond! Their soft serve is to die for. And the vibes are so cute! Will be breaking up with little coyote! Also forgot to take a photo because it was sooo good!“
