“Project Barley is one of my favorite hangs. My partner and I started going there for the open mics. They have great shows, trivia night, phenomenal beer and good vibes. We really enjoy the Hazy, lagers, abc stouts! We’ve only scratched the surface with the beer selection. Even if you are riding solo, you can belly up at the bar and meet some great people! Awesome bartenders. The food is so tasty too! Truffle fries, shrimp tacos, and plantain veggie burger are our faves!“
“I was here a few months ago. We ordered the margarita pizza and the spinach ricotta ravioli. It was really delicious! There was just one staff/owner at the time and they were super warm and even helped us with suggestions. Food was very fresh and delicious!“
“Got their new dish, the Charlie Brownie Pancakes. If ever OMG applies to food, this is it!!! Chocolate Pancakes soaked in chocolate sauce and whipped cream. OMGOMGOMG!!! Service was very friendly. My neighbor shared his French Fries. Wonderful flavor and texture!“
“INSANELY AMAZING PIZZA.Ordered easily online before we got there; grabbed beers at Project Barley and waited just a few minutes for pizza paradise. My friend and I consider ourselves pizza snobs and we were absolutely blown away by how good this was and why it took us four years to find the best pizza right under our noses. We shared a large 86th Street between the 3 of us and finished it off happily and easily. The cheesey, tomato saucey, basily ratio was perfect. The melted cheese pull was a thing of beauty at the first grabbed slice. The bright, super flavorful tomato sauce was ample (so many places skimp on sauce) and delicious and the crust had the perfect flavor and chew for which we snobs search the planet.Service was friendly and prompt; they brought our piping hot pizza to us in the brewery along with plates, utensils and napkins and even gave our furry friend treats.Around these parts, we typically get pizza at the following places:Costco (fairly decent and cheap, great for parties)Lamppost in Torrance (tasty American pizza)Raffaellos in Palos Verdes (tasty American pizza...awesome Torpedo deluxe sandwiches)Bonellos on Narbonne (tasty)Sorrentos in Pedro (Very good, expensive)Fat Tomato in Rolling Hills (decent)Eatalian in Gardena (authentic Naples style pizza)Masa in Echo Park (Amazing Chicago style pizza)Rance's in Long Beach (delicious Chicago style pizza)L'Antica Pizzareia da Michele in Hollywood (crazy good Italian style pizza)And we'll trek all the way to San Clemente and beyond for my favorite, Pizza Port, but seriously, Pizza Kraft will now be my go-to.It's just a day later and I am craving PIZZA KRAFT again. What a winner!“
“My friend dropped $300 after we picked up our order and one of the ladies ran after us and asked if it was ours. They know their regulars by name and their food is always very good and fresh. It is the closest to NY-style pizza in California. The ambiance is relaxed and fun. I love the white pizza and the manicotti. The sauce is incredible! The price range you can't beat it. Try this place, you won't regret it.“
“I got a 10 inch Pepperoni Pizza with Canadian Bacon and Green Bell Peppers. To be honest you guys, it was the perfect size! I also ordered some BBQ wings and a side of cheese sticks. The food was pretty decent. However I couldn't finish it.“
“Best pizza in the South Bay! This is my family's go to place any time we want pizza, wings, sub sandwiches, breadsticks, basically they have. We ALWAYS get the breadsticks no matter what we go for. Talking pizza.. My kids love the pepperoni pizza and my husband loves the bbq chicken or Hawaiian pizza my go to is their Rizzos special or their Chicken ranch. Omg so good! As you can see we all have our own favorites so we always have leftovers which taste just as good the next day. Their sub sandwiches are so fresh and they use their house Italian dressing on them and it is simply delicious. My go to when I want something extra with my order is their cheese bread loaf and I ask them to add jalapeños on it also so yummy. I'm never disappointed and the whole place gives a welcoming vibe that you can only get at a small family owned restaurant. I follow Rizzos on social media and I see that they are very involved in the community which makes me that much more happy to support their business. Ohh also we had our son's basketball team party here and it was a big hit. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We love it.“
“Great place for good Pizza. One thing that keeps giving is the Salad Bar. Yeah, it's only a one-trip option on their menu, but there are very few salad bars in a pizza place anymore. Take advantage of it while you can. Besides the typical 4-person booth option, you can easily bring 5 or more friends and hang out at the bench-style seating. Pitchers of beer are available and I can't remember a time when Beer and Pizza didn't go together. There's usually a game on the multiple TV's which means that if there's a playoff or popular team playing, you'll probably find a TV showing it. Friendly service at the counter is a huge plus! The place has been there for YEARS and changed names, too, but hopefully we'll have a place to enjoy the pizza for future generations. Keep up the good work!Parking: At the time of this writing, there was construction taking up some of the parking (not permanent.) The shopping center lot is not small and shared by a few stores, so it can be difficult to find nearby parking and you may need to park a less desireable distance away. You will find parking, though.“
