“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the tasty chicken?😋😋“

Found this place and was able to grab quite a bit of vegan items for her to try.

So my caveat is all this is amazing for vegan-
Chocolate chip cookies 9/10 would almost not know it was vegan, it was also fresh outta the oven.
Snickerdoodle- 3/10 not my vibe, too crispy
Blueberry Scone- 10/10 she lived it
Janessa cupcake- 7/10 overall a solid strawberry choice
Cookies n Cream Cupcake- 10/10 great cake and frosting
Chocolate Lovers Slice- 15/10 our favorite
Herb Cake- odd but not bad 7/10

“I came in on Sunday and had such a great experience! Delci and Megan were both amazing and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Delci was especially so sweet and made my baby smile, which meant a lot to me. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and everyone was so friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back. “I have been enjoying meals at Okane Umi since 2016. They have always been excellent in every category of service. The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. The crunch roll was the first to eat and I couldn't wait to eat it so that's why there's only half of the roll left. As you see I wasn't playing and the roll was well worth it. Fresh and tasty. A roll of egg rolls was a must with the sweet sauce to dip. The teriyaki combo was tasty in its own way, but hands down the crunch roll is a must. I will be definitely going back.“

“Loved Loved Loved the food and attentive staff. The young men serving us worked fast and kept us informed when our table would be ready. We wanted to sit at a table, rather than the counter. I learned this place stays open late on the weekends and this is where many restaurant staff come to eat! This place is tiny, yet cozy. The tables are placed a bit close, but you still have privacy.

She shared the gyoza which was crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. One friend ordered the yakisoba and I tasted it which was very good, I will order it next time. My other friend ordered the mabo tofu which I also had a chance to taste and I could easily understand why my friend says this dish is her comfort food. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and it was so good! I took half home to share with my husband.

There are so many other dishes I want to try next time! Free parking on the lot. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, which was totally ok. because the food was so good! Prices are reasonable too. OH! They have Happy Hour!!!“
