“A small hidden gem!!! We were there just last Friday. The service (as always) was wonderful, the food scrumptious and though last Friday we were sat immediately (we just happened to beat the crowd). We have had to wait a few times; and I assure everyone it is worth the wait!”

“Nahhh… this place actually lived up to the hype. 😭🔥 The chicken was CRAZY crispy without being dry, and every bite was juicy. Soy Garlic is hands down my favorite flavor. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the sauce is so good I could eat it every day.

The sides were solid too, everything came out fresh and hot, and the staff was super chill. The place was clean and the whole vibe was a W.

Definitely one of the best Korean fried chicken spots I’ve had. If you’re debating whether to try bb.q Chicken, just go. The Soy Garlic is a must. 10/10, I’m already thinking about my next order.”

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the tasty chicken?😋😋”

IT IS BY FAR OUR FAVORITE LOCATION - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .”

“The bread and pastries are delicious, but unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the coffee. I’ve tried several different types of coffee here, but none of them were particularly good. I’d definitely come back for the bread, but I hope they can improve the coffee.”

“I have been enjoying meals at Okane Umi since 2016. They have always been excellent in every category of service. The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. Im pleased they have reinforced their sushi, sashimi, chirashi offerings - I love this restaurant.”

“Being in West LA makes it hard to find good Taiwanese foods. Canaan Cafe offers really authentic Beef Noodle Soup and decent Stinky Tofu. The beef noodle soup seemed to be prepared with different part of beef (brisket, shank, and maybe some short rib?) and a broth with proper bone and aromatic flavors. I appreciate the efforts”

“This was the first time coming here and on a Sunday at 1, I had the whole place to myself. The crunch roll was the first to eat and I couldn't wait to eat it so that's why there's only half of the roll left. As you see I wasn't playing and the roll was well worth it. Fresh and tasty. A roll of egg rolls was a must with the sweet sauce to dip. The teriyaki combo was tasty in its own way, but hands down the crunch roll is a must. I will be definitely going back.”

“Absolutely a spectacular fine dining experience. Professional staff, and skillful cheif. Filet Mignon and Ribeye were both at the perfect temperature and preparedness. Crispy on the outer surface and tender and juicy in the center. The staff know the wine list to help advise a good selection to you liking. For dessert ordered an old fashion which was prepared with the right amount of bitters and sweetness that they smoke infused to finish a perfect dinner. Not many places do that anymore. Looking forward to our next visit... Would like to try one of their dry aged Wagu.”

“Pizza Kraft is hands down serving the best pizza in the South Bay! The crust, the toppings—everything was just perfect. Paired with an icy cold beer from the bar, it hit the spot in the best way. We also tried the wings, and they were incredible—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. We'll definitely be back for more. A must-try if you're in the area!”

“This is probably the best Mariscos In the City of Lomita tucked away off the north east corner of PCH & Eshelman. The seafood here is really good we ordered the cocktail de Camaron, the shrimp ceviche tostada and
Shrimp and Carne Asada burrito! 😋 Their menu is fantastic and everything is made to order. They got a good selection of beer too and wine cocktails! This place is definitely worth checking out.”

“My first time here because I just so happened to be in the area. I had the brisket & tendon phó. It was delicious. It had so much tendon and I loved it. Great flavor and freshness. I read some of the reviews that were negative. My experience was nothing but positive. I like to eat at mom and pop restaurants. The service was polite and attentive. Give this establishment a try. I think you’ll find it a tasty and positive experience.”

“Every Carl's Jr. seems to have an individual policy regarding how it cools its zucchini. Always ask if the zucchini is cooked with the fries, or with the meat. They all seem to keep the fryer for fries separate, which means vegetarians can enjoy Carl's Jr. fries, but not always their fried zucchini. I always order their zucchini burger now that they've discontinued the Beyond burger. This particular restaurant was clean and fast. I only wish they unified the policy of zucchini cooking so I could eat at any franchise I visit.”

“Loving the atmosphere at this locally owned McDonald’s. The seating is inviting and the playlist for the background music is exceptional. It ranges from Jazz music to lounge music and always provide a relaxing vibe.

Sometimes, can find fresh flowers placed on the tables in the coffee area. See photo.

I would recommend the egg biscuit breakfast meal. It rang up at about 7-8 dollars in March 2026.
It includes a biscuit, hash brown, and a coffee latte. Customization options are available.
