“Nice chilled bar with cool vibe. I got the Awaiting Persephone Cocktail. The taste of the cocktail with the delicious note of Pistachio did not disappoint. However, I found there was way too much ice in the drink which quickly diluted it and also diminished the intensity of it.“

“Great local place that has a cute store next door with a variety of beer/wine choices and some upscale snacks.Food, drinks and vibe of the bar are always amazing. “Will come again to try the broth-less ramen for sure. This place on my bf’s to eat list for awhile. We came on Sunday around 12:30pm. There is no wait and not so many people. We ordered two bowls of ramen, Josui ramen and shoyu ramen with garlic oil, we also add combos salad and 3pcs karaage. The chicken is very tender not dry, the salad is normal. The noodle soup was so good. It warms my soul. It is not over powering, pretty subtle. Two pieces of chasu are enough for me. Even though I ate slower than usual the noodle didn’t get soggy. My bf ate all the soup and we will come back for the Maze soba. The restaurant was full when we were leaving.“

“My favorite local bar/restaurant. Always new food and drinks on the menu and everything hits. Service is top-notch and the patio is great for a nice day. Come here every Sunday during football season for New York Giants games and they also pack out for UFC cards.“

“So the variety of fish/seafood is enormous. We got the fried calamari + shrimp burger, both was super yumm. The staff messed up a little and offered us the fried calamari 3 times while waiting for the burger. We surely declined :D but noticed some other issues with customers, so dont expect a super fast and on point service. Still seafood itself makes it a 10/10.“

“Wow they FINALLY remodeled the old furniture! LOL this place was falling apart but it’s ok now. The food is excellent here we have been going for eons and never had a bad experience ever. This is our favorite KBBQ because it’s not too loud or smoky but not all hip like Gen it can get crowded but most times we get seated quickly. The best thing is the little condiment and side dish bar it is SO yummy!!! The potato salad is home made like mom’s. Kimchi and sides are all very fresh, they always have a fruit - oranges or watermelon. They have butter bacon and asparagus sometimes OMG you can wrap the asparagus in bacon that’s AMAZING. I can’t imagine being Vegan, pescatarian or whatever I’m sorry this place is my air. I will die without it this place. LOL
I don’t care if the service is slow which it is usually not… the food is so good I didn’t care if the floors were greasy or sticky or seats were ripped I could care less and they did fix all that and I am happy they did but it doesn’t matter to me. This is my to go and favorite KBBQ. I know everyone orders beef brisket but try the beef belly a tad more fat it is softer and juicier and you can burn off the fat. The bulgogi flavor is the best -the soy based dipping sauce is also better than the others it is slightly more flavorful. I put it on the kimchi, salad, potatoes and everything. Drooling just writing this review. Oh and yes there are higher quality meat places like Mampuku etc but you will pay a lot more and it won’t be AYCE. I eat like a TRex when I come here I don’t need anything fancy and the beef belly meat is good enough quality for me!“
