“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

Unfortunately, the service was terrible. They charge for refills on drinks (cokes and diet cokes) and the waiter took forever to do anything. For reference, there were three groups seated in the restaurant at the time we went. We thought he might have been new, which is understandable, but it was crazy slow even for a newbie.“

“We had breakfast a BLU in San Pedro and the food was good but the service from Pedro and Genka was exceptional.
What wonderful people. I had the Denver omelet with potatoes, sourdough toast and fruit with coffee and OJ and my wife had two eggs with oatmeal, fruit and hot tea. A nice morning with great people and good food.

“Awesome atmosphere. I was staying next door at the Fairfield INN. Was looking for a cool Lounge Bar. So I walked over. Couldn't believe how awesome the lobby bar at ALofts was. Outdoor balcony overlooking the pool. And this being LA, the customers looked fabulous, of course. Bartenders are amazing. Super sweet. They call you by your name. I will definitely stay here next time. Only thing I was sad about was that the Crystal Bar doesn't light up because they lost the remote control ????? I'm certain it'll be fixed soon. I can't rate the rooms because I didn't stay here but. I do have Marriott points. So next time. I also love that the Hotel looks like a cruise ship. ?“

“The local spot for the Gundo! Always liked this place. Burgers are good and food. Local cook and just good food. 3 sizes of beers for you to choose from. Sizes are I drink with my pinky up, 2 of these it's DUI and the mug that would make Norm from CHEERS jealous. Great people and home town atmosphere. They will all say hi to you when you walk in.“

I like the decor they have set up here. Parking can be a pain since its right on Prairie but if you drive into the neighborhood you usually can find a spot. If you like brooklyn bar down hawthorne you'd like this place. Similar vibe.“
