“If you want to experience a place where the locals actually spend their time, this is it. We were pointed here by someone from the area who told us to skip the crowded tourist spots and check out this neighborhood favorite instead. It ended up being one of the most enjoyable stops of our trip.

The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and full of character. It has that classic dive bar feel where people come to unwind, catch up with friends, watch a game, or shoot a few rounds of pool. Nothing feels forced or trendy, which is exactly what makes it so appealing.

We kept things simple with a burger, some snacks, and a few drinks. The food was better than expected, and there was a solid selection of beers both on tap and in bottles. Prices were reasonable, portions were satisfying, and service was friendly throughout our visit.

What really stood out was the sense of community. Everyone seemed to know each other, and even as visitors we felt welcomed. By the end of the evening, several regulars were chatting with us and wishing us a good night. It's the kind of authentic local spot that's becoming harder to find and absolutely worth checking out.“

“This seemed like it was going to be a chill bar near the beach. I needed a place to set up my laptop for just an hour or so. Came here close to when the opened. It was a very chill vibe inside and lots of fresh air. The bartender was nice but I think maybe she thought it was weird to be on a laptop. The longer I was there the crazier it got and it ended up not being the vibe I expected and felt like I probably shouldn't be on my laptop. So I left after one drink. It was a really good margarita though. I would drink here but maybe not the bar to do some work at haha. Which is a pretty new concept anyway unless you wfh.“

“This is an interesting place. Upstairs is really cool but it’s “members only”, so we unknowingly went up and then found out we couldn’t order/pay for drinks. That is ok, but what is odd is that some folks in my group were upstairs a few weeks ago and were able to charge a round. Maybe it is more flexible during the week vs weekends?
The downstairs is also very nice and it’s definitely a place for the beautiful people with lots of money. We had two house (Tito’s) martinis and a good glass of wine and it was a heavier tab than I expected. We got what we ordered but I probably should have looked closer at the prices so I would not have been surprised. Hey, it’s Manhattan beach and it’s a cool vibe. Just don’t go in unless you are ok with dropping some coin.

“I usually don't eat outside such in restaurants or bars... this was my first time to try a restaurant and it was Chili's at this location.. clean, great service and food. Thank you!“

“Brought some friends there to watch playoff football and a ufc fight. Ended up having the best filet mignon of my life. So tender you could slice through it with the side of your fork. Had fresh oysters from Virginia, which I was told are only $2 on Tuesday or Wednesday (have to fact check here). And probably the best thing on the menu is the bacon wrapped plantains, not a lot of food, but every bite is heaven. Wife loved her fancy drinks, but I prefer scotch.“

“Nice vibes, convenient location with easy parking, beautiful decor. Service was lacking, but understand there is a labor shortage right now, perhaps that's to blame here. Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.“

“Great little spot to eat food that you bought at the airport. Bartender is super friendly too! Just keep in mind you will be paying the price of a 6 pack or 10 pack for 1 beer (Coors Light) so to get more bang for your buck, order the Long Island iced tea or the 20 oz Space Dust IPA. :)“

We were a group of about 40 and from the very beginning, Liz made the entire process so easy and stress free. She was always available with quick replies to questions, flexible with any requests we had made, and genuinely excited to have us and was just wonderful. I got to meet Zach the night of the event and he was exactly the same way. They both understand hospitality and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The staff that night made amazing drinks and the food was delicious. On top of that, the room itself is already a beautiful space, but when we walked in and saw it decked out in the holiday lights, we knew right away we made the perfect choice in Corner Door. Everyone remarked on what a great time they had so thanks Corner Door for making it so special! We will be back!“

“We picked this spot at random and it ended up being the best bar I ever ended up at. Owner is coolf, he has consoles for his customers to play, even the security is chill. He wants to support local breweries and is a down to earth guy trying to put the customer first. I recommend people to pull up and judge for themselves.“

The place a $44 entry fee per person on days when they have live Jazz.
The place looks very upscale and is well maintained. There's furniture around the space in a casual living room kind of fashion. The space is very warm and welcoming and feels very intimate. The room sounds great acoustically and the band last night was super fun.“

“Force of Nature is one of the cutest little places I’ve ever stopped for a drink. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, inviting, and effortlessly charming.

The rooftop terrace is the perfect mix of laid-back and cozy, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a long, hot day. I especially loved the community table—it added so much character and made the space feel welcoming and connected.

The drinks were fantastic: strong enough to know they were crafted well, but perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. The wines leaned on the fruitier side, which made them easy to enjoy without being overly sweet.

What really made the experience stand out, though, was the bartender, who also seemed to be the hostess and waitress. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and made everyone feel at home. She had the kind of personality that makes you wish she’d sit down and have a drink with you.

The entire vibe of Force of Nature is relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you intend to stop for one drink and end up staying for hours because you simply don’t want to leave. I can’t wait to come back.“
