“The brunch here was fantastic! The passionfruit cocktail was refreshing, but not too sweet. The chopped salad was also excellent and something I would genuinely order again. The staff working were all so kind and showed me wonderful hospitality since I was dining alone. The house made fennel sausage was perfectly juicy and full of flavor. It was a marvelous meal and as a local, definitely a place I would go back to !!“

The burger and fries was okay. Disappointed that they say it's a 1/2 pound patty but this was not, it was barely a 1/4 pounder. It tasted fine, but was just very small compared to the menu description.

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “Easily some of the best ice cream you will ever have! Handel's makes their ice cream fresh daily, and you can absolutely taste the difference—it is incredibly rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Their menu is massive, so there’s always something new to try, but you can’t go wrong with the classics or their seasonal specials. The portions are very generous for the price, and the service is always fast and friendly. It’s an absolute must-visit every single time I’m craving something sweet!“

Hibiscus margarita recommended by my waitress was very nice. Tacos and nachos were delicious although the nachos alone are probably enough for a meal. Regardless I ate both, and enjoyed them immensely. With the standard tax plus tip, even at Happy Hour prices, I wouldn’t call it cheap, but I would say the quality of the food makes it good value.

When I told them it's okay they can use the same salmon in the new bowl since it didn't touch much with the dairy based sauce, they said they don't want to risk it :) and gave me a whole brand new plate which I greatly appreciated so much!!!! “We went to Dan Modern Chinese on a Thursday evening around 7:15pm. We had called earlier and were told there wasn’t a need to make reservations. When we got there, they had several tables available and we were seated immediately. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and was also very clean, roomy and comfortable inside. The restaurant doesn’t try to be a fancy affair, rather a casual spot and the furniture reflects it. That’s not a criticism, just a choice they made and it works really well.

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our drinks orders in and it came out quickly. The menu had clearly marked options for vegetarians We then placed our food order. They appear to bring out food as it becomes ready rather than sequencing the meal, so if you prefer a sequence, you should infor your server.

The taste of the food was OK. While I don’t think anything was bad, it wasn’t great either. We asked for chili oil to try and spice it up a little.

Overall, I’d say an average on taste, great service and decent atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, casual, modern Chinese restaurant!!“

While staying at Westdrift, I really enjoyed my experiences at Jute.

Service was friendly and attentive.

Food hit the spot:

Turkey Club: was a large toasted cheesy sandwich. And overall had nice ingredients inside of it. Plenty of fries came with the order.

Jute Burger: a large half pounder. For five dollars extra, I ordered bacon and it came with five slices of crispy pork. The ingredients inside were fresh and filling.

Korean BBQ Tacos - generously filled with meat and toppings. Serrano peppers on side made it absolute delicious.

Salmon Crudo - fresh light fish, popping with flavor. Good starter with a nice contrast of crispy chips.

Overall, a good to great hotel restaurant. With so many great restaurants in the area to choose from, Jute should not be overlooked.“
