My husband and I have had a hard time finding good, clean sushi rolls in LA. A lot of other place’s menus have super saucy baked rolls crowding their menu. This menu had such a variety to offer. Everything that we ordered melted in my mouth - I loved the simplicity. Even the baked roll we got felt clean and wasn’t over the top with sauce or toppings.Make a reservation! The cut rolls and sashimi are fantastic. We ordered yellowtail scallion, spicy tuna, and salmon avocado, and all were delicious. The crab hand roll is also amazing.We usually order takeout, and the earlier you order the better, as wait times can get long. It opened at 5pm, but I called and placed my order at 4pm for a 6pm pickup. Everything was ready to go. Highly recommend.Parking: There is a parking garage just behind The Kettle, but otherwise street parking is a little tough.

Everyone at the table agreed this was some of the best sushi we had ever had! In addition to the excellent food, the service was outstanding. Even though the restaurant was very busy, some of our starters came out so fast, which was satisfying because we were all very hungry! I really appreciated that the waiter helped us pick our dishes and decide how much to order for the table. The experience from start to finish was five stars, thank you for having us!
