“This is an awesome pizza place that I'm so happy to have in the area. The pizza always tastes fresh and they use quality toppings. My favorites are the spicy pepperoni and the great white. We also love the garlic knots and the cookie with ice cream on top. The service is great-- special shoutout to Luis, who always helps with my order and hooks it up for us. Also, love the outdoor seating because the weather is nice and perfect for a lunch. Definitely will be coming back.“

“Went to Yamashiro for the first time today! I have to say this is probably one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fried oysters were delicious! We ordered three different rolls and all of them were just beautiful from a presentation and artistry perspective, but tasting them was even better! The volcano roll was served on grapefruit slices, which made them very colorful and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The Yamashara roll was not only beautiful but it's the first time I have ever had mango with my sushi rolls and it actually added a really nice dimension of tropical fruit to already super fresh tasting tuna and avocado. The crispy roll had fried onions that were somehow not greasy, which was surprising. I'm wondering if they were air fried? But really great addition to texture for the rolls. We also had the yellowtail collar, which was cooked flawlessly. Oftentimes, yellowtail collar can you overcooked so part of it can be fairly dry. This caller was moist all the way around, perfect pockets of fish fat, and a very light unami salty flavor. The last thing we had, which I think was very fortunate because they don't always have it, was the Japanese tuna Ono which was cooked in a wonderful miso sauce.

I know I keep going on about this spot, but these rules were truly unique and I eat a lot of sushi, lol! Did I mention that we had a wonderful server, which I didn't get her name, but she's a Japanese woman that may have been the owner. I'm not sure, but her spirit was so respectful and refreshing and we loved her kindness and attentiveness. Really great service! I can't wait to go here again next time I visit the Redondo Beach area!!!“

“I reside closeby and find this small deli sized restaurant a must if you're craving Taiwanese Chinese faire. It is the real deal and the daughter owner lady works very hard and her crew pumps out the grub fast. Her dad is there with her kid usually and the nicest people. He delivered food once to my house in a jiffy.

Food is on point, delicious and flavorful, accompanied with their sauces. I like medium to hot food and this hits the spot. No options other than greasy China Coast where I have seen someone blowing his nose as I was picking up my food or Lotus Chinese.

Nevermind the complaint artists. I've not had a bad meal. Some of the pricing may be on the high side but competitive with the other two mentioned. Hey, we're by the beach, so just enjoy!“

“This is our favorite poke bowl spot in the area because you have so many options and everything is fresh and delicious. The bows range in size so you can do a lighter bowl with a green base or go for the traditional rice if you dare. The eel here is really good and most poke spots don't even offer it. Fish is super fresh and there are seemingly endless toppings, sauces, add-on, and choices where you could do thousands of combinations. There are little things too.. just the say the kitchen puts the blows together they always look very artistic and appetizing.. other spots the bowls just aren't this pretty. If you love poke this is the place for the fully loaded style bowls with a ton of options.“

“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. “My friend and I really enjoyed eating at the Green temple. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many vegan options among the vegetarian options They serve. I had the burger which was great along with the cornbread which is not like traditional cornbread but a grainy or heartier, healthier feeling version of cornbread , served with vegan or regular butter, and maple syrup or honey.
The desserts were excellent! I had the peanut butter chocolate pie and the Macadamia chocolate pie (yes, I love chocolate).
The only drawback is finding parking which is indicative of that area in general and not a fault of the restaurant. I would also like to stress how friendly and helpful the staff was. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and answer any questions we had. Excellent service all around. I highly recommend this restaurant for a healthy bite any time of the day!“

“First time at this Cafe. Super nice atmosphere the people are great! My dad always says “that’s what makes a place good”. The food was very good (sorry no pics) but I ordered the Wildflower Two’s (eggs over easy w/ham and potatoes (not greasy) and rosemary garlic toast. Our server Andrea was super nice! Reasonable prices and the best 80’s music ever!! Nice little gem 💎 they also have outside seating with a super nice breeze!!“
