“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“I’ve driven past hundreds of times, not really knowing what they’re all about. I was stopped at the traffic light one day and they were handing out a free meal. That was three months ago and since then, I am eating better and rarely go to the store except to get milk, eggs and bread! Discovering Ready Fit Go came at a perfect time. I was getting ready to have hand surgery and knew my recovery would be difficult and long. I started out with the 5 day meal plan and had it delivered. Everything I purchased was delicious and so fresh. That was the beginning of a new way of eating for me. There’s always fresh and healthy food in my refrigerator now, no more running out to pick up take out. I’m saving money, time and eating healthier then I ever have before. Bonus, the owner and staff are all very helpful, friendly and nice.“

“This is the best pizza we’ve had in California! We were spoiled in NY. We tried the deep dish and grandma’s crust. Flavour was so good you can tell pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and the sauce was not overpowering. We will definitely be returning!“

Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. “Update July 2026: docking a full star for the creepy AI answering system that pretended to not be AI with fake restaurant background noise even though it clearly answered slowly and with a delay. It then gave me the wrong info and asked if I wanted a menu sent to me. I said no, it did it anyways by the time the call hung up. I had checked that menu link before calling, it didn't answer my question. All I wanted to know was if there was still food happy hour specials in the summer (there aren't), and I had to physically go in person instead. I would've loved for this info to be on the website, wait staff does spend a lot of time on phone calls. Instead both our time got wasted because I no longer have a way to communicate with the restaurant without going in person. There are still lunch volley bowl deals.

2025: Fantastic view of the ocean and beach. Great specials at lunch and on weekdays. We actually were walking to the Tuesday burger special at Hennessey's Tavern, which we go to often. They caught our eye. This was a perfectly cooked juicy burger with great, strong seasoning and fresh toppings. We got a side of fries, which were delicious and crispy from the blisteringly hot first bite to the last cooled fry. We may have a new beach side burger Tuesday joint with a slightly improved view! It's a solid jump in quality for what you usually find in Hermosa, especially this close to the water.

Staff were friendly. I like the menu a bit more at the Redondo location but you can't beat the view and vibe at the beach. We'll be back to try the extensive drink menu“

“Gum Tree Shop & Café is a small café and shop just a short walk from the Strand in Hermosa Beach. It’s been around for a while and feels very much like a local neighborhood spot.

Parking was easy right out front, which made the visit even more convenient. The café has outdoor seating, and you can sit with your coffee and feel the ocean air, with a steady flow of people and dogs passing by.

We ordered at the counter and had coffees, avocado toast with fruit, and a breakfast burrito. The food was fresh and straightforward, and the service was friendly and efficient.

The attached shop is a nice addition, with a thoughtful selection of home goods, cookbooks, and small gifts — an easy place to pick up something for a birthday or housewarming.

It does get a bit chilly in the morning, so bringing a light layer helps. Overall, a reliable Hermosa Beach stop for a casual breakfast or coffee after a walk along the beach.“

“This is our 2nd time here. I came for the pizza. In search of what we had in Napoli. But the 1st time I can I got distracted by the handmade pasta. So this time I stayed the course. I can report i like it! It's still not as thin but it's close. And they have this cheese pasta dish where the cheese is warmed up and then the fixings mixed in. I'll have to try it next time. The one time I had it was in Argentina. Although they boast 60% of Argentines are of Italian heritage, it's probably not quite right. There was also music tonight and the servers were attentive. A very nice night out.“

My boyfriend and I are spending the weekend in Hermosa for his birthday and we’ve come to this cafe 3 times and we plan to come again before we leave. Everything was so so good. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant literally made my eyes roll back. All of the pastry’s are fire. Everyone who works here is super kind but especially this one girl (kinda tall, body tea, blonde hair w/ low lights??? And black claw clip).
