Their salsas are freshly made and the habanero is muy picante! 🌶️ Add their avocado green salsa - it’s unique and delicious! Very, very nice staff working day and night.“

“Following a Michelin Guide. The menu offers a solid selection of ceviche and seafood dishes. We tried two types of ceviche and the marlin tacos. The ceviche portions were surprisingly generous for appetizers, while the three tacos felt a bit small for $24.
Our waiter thoughtfully asked whether we could handle spicy food — their ceviche comes with a generous amount of chili and green sauce — and offered to have it prepared milder. We appreciated that touch of attentiveness.
The food itself was fresh and flavorful with no real complaints on quality. That said, it didn't quite reach the level of culinary creativity or refinement I'd expect from a destination worth a special return visit. Service was a little disorganized, and there was an error on the bill.
A solid spot, but not a standout. Four out of five stars.“

“An extremely lively and trendy lounge-type of restaurant on the Venice/Santa Monica border very close to the water. It is actually a block away from the beach. At night they move the tables and the DJ booth turns on and it turns into a mini nightclub and most of the patrons we saw were they to pick up champagne to share and drink on site, the food here seemed an afterthought. The crowd here is very young, most people are in their 20s. You’ll probably be one of the older ones if you are in your mid 30s like myself. It’s also very loud and it’s more a place to go with friends or a date, it’s not really a foodie destination, it’s more of a lively place to spend the evening. Parking is honestly really hard in this area so we took a Waymo because we live a mile away. Aside from that you’ll most likely need to pay for parking. Our waitress was very polite, but our food items arrived pretty slowly.

I started off with the Chicory Salad. I thought it was pretty nice, it was really nice and light start, a perfect salad for spring. For my entree I chose the Burger with a side of Broccolini because I had heard a lot about it. It was very good but not one of the best burgers I’ve had in this part of town. I would say this is a great spot to bring a date, but it’s not really somewhere that is food focused, more a place to drink and order some items if you’re hungry.“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. “I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“The shrimp fajitas exceeded my expectations, especially for pier food. Spicy is the way to go, not too spicy but flavorful and a decent amount of shrimp even for the small size. Garlic bread was also great and way bigger than I expected. Would skip the fries next time but will definitely be back!“

“First time here and i will say they give the HEALTHIEST fillet portions I’ve seen in a looong time! BUT if you don’t order jumbo shrimp you’ll be pissed off. The regular shrimp are so tiny.

Overall everything was seasoned well. Fried to perfection and my catfish was so juicy. I didn’t care for the fries but that’s just me I’m not a fry person.

Hush puppies were good. Bread nice and soft! And the tartar sauce is definitely home made.

Don’t forget to ask for extra hot sauce (THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 1) and if you hate pickles (like me) don’t forget to tell them you don’t want them.

4 stars is for the small shrimp, pickles, and the 1 piece of a piece of a PIECE of lemon they gave me lol
