“This is my second time here. The first time I came was a month ago and meant to leave a review . The sevice was outstanding. A young gentleman name Andrew went above and beyond to provide exceptional service . He was very nice, professional and overall a very happy person who loved his job. Its employees like this that makes a business successful! Its because of Andrew is why I came back today since I was in the area . I had several options of restaurants to choose from and chose to come back to Blue Salt Fish Grill. Today, the sevice was even better because a new trainee, Ayyaub was here with Andrew and had outstanding service . The manager here has done a great job in hiring great employees. “We don’t visit the South Bay often but when we do, it’s a must to Yelp and find someplace new to eat. In search of a Japanese restaurant that offered a menu loaded with options and was both fast and affordable, we lucked out when we discovered Hoka Hoka Express. This place is everything Japanese wrapped all into one - food, beverages (leaded & unleaded), snacks, porcelain teacups, tote bags, cute collectibles, you name it!

I can’t say I’ve ever been to a restaurant that offered a menu item like the Normandie - salmon, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, spicy ponzu, spicy mayo and served over your choice of base. I went with the Half & Half which was a mix of sushi rice and spring mix. So good! The only reason I didn’t award a five star was due to the service. The woman who was working the counter was not overly friendly, so maybe she was new or was having a bad day. Regardless, I highly recommend a visit to Hoka Hoka Express for all things Japanese!“

“Izakaya Ringo exceeded my expectations! Their fish was so fresh and melted in my mouth. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was incredibly kind and hospitable! “I visited for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. While having a happy hour beer, I ordered the steak and pasta. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the sauce had a familiar, comforting flavor that reminded me of Japanese cuisine. I truly appreciated being able to enjoy this kind of taste in the U.S.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a very pleasant place to spend time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion.

The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.“

“The food here is DELICIOUS. Came here on a whim with some friends and really love how lightly salted the food is, tempura is yummy, and the Carlos Jewel Box is iconic. Sapporo is draft and crisp with easy parking to enter and great service. I never give a 5/5 but this one is it. Will be back!“

“AYCE sushi here is legit for $34pp! Drinks cost extra of course. Just make sure you bring a fan or don't wear thick clothes. It gets hot during the summer. You can get your own refills on water and miso soup. You place orders through the screen on the table. After each order is sent, you have to wait a certain time period until you can other more. Make sure you finish your food or else they will change you extra for wasting food.

There's a free parking lot but it can get filled up quickly.“
