“The waitresses were super nice and friendly. There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn’t very long. I am a pescatarian and I did not realize the clam chowder has bacon in it. So watch out pescatarians. The shrimp and cocktail sauce is amazing though.“

“This was, by far, the BEST meal I had in Cali! This Seafood (mix) Burrito was outstanding & the bang for your dollar was epic; very affordable; excellent quality! If you are ANYWHERE near this place, you MUST to go! Hands down, awesome food, great value! As you can see, I liked it & fortunately took a picture before it was gone! Ceviche is excellent also! Way good & way yummy!Kid-friendliness: Couple of families were there!“

“The menudo is great. If your looking for something different for breakfast try The Lola. Hash brown potatoes layered with two chicken enchiladas covered in green sauce with a fried egg on top. Delicious!!! If I’m not having the menudo I’m having that.“

“We initially went to the San Pedro branch of this business, on a Sunday. We stood in the long, long line for a little while we searched for plan B. We came across the Wilmington location, called and learned there was no line there. In less than 15 minutes, we were trying to decide what to get. It's easy to confuse the two locations, but I don't see any reason to wait in the huge line, when there's another location with plenty of tables and no wait. On our first visit we tried the shrimp platter and a CYO with red snapper (SPFM vegetables and garlic bread). The spicing on the shrimp and vegetables were okay. It tasted a lot better on the grilled red snapper for some reason. The garlic bread was very tasty. On our second visit, we tried the seafood soup (with shrimp, swordfish, chopped clams, octopus, calamari, and scallops) with vegetables and a foot-long tilapia sandwich. The soup really hit the spot. It was a prepared broth with veggies and fresh seafood is added to the soup when ordered. We got a large to share and it was chock full of seafood. It comes with cilantro, onion, and cabbage and tortillas or garlic bread. The tilapia sandwich was good. The special sauce tasted like a mixture of salsa and mayo, which is yummy. We had leftover soup for dinner. The staff are all super nice, friendly, and convivial. We enjoyed dining here. The meals are a good value and the seafood is fresh. We liked having a range of choices in preparation besides fried. The variety of fish and shellfish is also a plus.“

“2nd time we have eaten there in the last two nights! Great Mexican food all around. So far, we've had various tacos and burritos and the Chili Verde plate. Can't wait to go back to try more things. Fun atmosphere inside with Karaoke on the weekends too. The lady at the register (possibly the owner) was so friendly and kind as was the young lady who waited on us while we waited for a Togo. Great salsa and ice cold beer as well. 10/10“

“I discovered this establishment through Yelp, a reliable source for finding reputable businesses. We happened to be in the vicinity and sought out a restaurant where we could leisurely enjoy a refreshing beer while awaiting our friend's arrival. Our server, Miriam, provided exceptional service. She exuded warmth and friendliness, sporting a radiant smile, and even offered us insightful recommendations from their extensive menu.To commence our dining experience, this establishment welcomes patrons with a delightful combination of chips and chicharrones, complemented by a unique salsa. The salsa itself was both fresh and delectable. For our appetizer, we opted for a shrimp quesadilla, which was generously filled with succulent shrimp. When it arrived at our table, the taste surpassed our expectations, earning the unanimous approval of both my daughter and husband. In fact, they were so enamored with the dish that they playfully vied for the remaining crumbs.I indulged in their exquisite michelada mix, which proved to be a delightful choice. Additionally, their assortment of salsas proved to be equally exceptional.Regardless of where one chooses to sit, they are guaranteed the opportunity to catch an enthralling game on any day of the week. Undoubtedly, this establishment is an undiscovered treasure, making it an ideal destination for families seeking a memorable seafood experience. However, even if seafood is not your preference, rest assured that they offer a selection of alternative dishes that will satisfy even the most discerning palate.“

“Celebrated my cousins birthday on Thursday night. It was about 30 or more. They accommodated us and service was great. We were one of the first there and the ladies right away offered drinks and brought chips & salsa. Once everyone was there they took food orders. The food came out in a timely manner. It was nice and hot. I ordered the fish, shrimp and octopus soup, I love it. It wasn't just a hot bowl of water. It had plenty of seafood. A side of rice would have been perfect, but was okay with out. Everyone was happy and they even cut and served the cake. Great party & service. Will definitely return even though I live in Long Beach.Parking: Plenty of parking.“
