“The waitresses were super nice and friendly. There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn’t very long. I am a pescatarian and I did not realize the clam chowder has bacon in it. So watch out pescatarians. The shrimp and cocktail sauce is amazing though.“

“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“

“I've passed by this place for two years and never wanted to go in , because it look like a dive bar with a bunch of old guys in it ! “Excellent Colombian brunch. The pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with just the right amount of fat. The selva steak and eggs plate was a great sampler of many of their dishes. The service is great and friendly. I had the carajillo coffee cocktail with brandy, which was good, but not my favorite. My other friends loved it though. “I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“

“Fantastic view of the ocean! Belmont Brewing Co is located at the enttance of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. It might be a little pricey, but you're next to the ocean.“

“I got there just before the dinner rush. The outside tables were filling up, and the bar was full. Great Service. The most amazing food. They gave complimentary homemade flour tortillas, butter, red salsa, and green avocado salsa. Wow best tortillas I ever had. Then finish off with the three most flavorful De Filet Mignon Tacos that just melted in my mouth. The meat is very tender, and the flavors are like a bite of heaven with every bite. JD the GM runs the place very well.“

It's a Saturday and they had me at their happy hour deal - a beer, shot, and taco for just 15 bucks. What a great deal! But it wasn't just the deal that got me hooked. “This place is a gem, I am so glad to have finally tried their food. There are lots of scrumptious options to choose from and right when I think I've made up my mind on what to get I spot the daily specials board. Mind you I did get in late for dinner so they were mostly sold out of their specials but I did not leave disappointed. The staff is friendly and very attentive, they make you feel like family. The chili is DELICIOUS! I loved it, I even took a pint of it home. Their poke is good, it was marinated with sesame oil and green onions. “We went there for my girlfriend‘s birthday and I have to say it was pretty spectacular. We had a drink at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and accommodating. The hostess came and sat us down when we were ready to be seated. Our waiter was well informed and told us about all of the specials. We didn’t want for anything. Everything was delivered to our table on time we weren’t rushed. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The food is very very good. Amazing actually. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. “This is a popular place near the beach, I strongly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. The staff are super friendly, they appear to genuinely be happy to be there. They had a decent variety in selection and I think they could have been a little more generous in portions.I had the lobster Mac and cheese . It was creamy, covered with crunchy bread crumbs. That was a decent serving. I had a poke bowl that was full of different flavors, that could have been bigger.Just a heads up, this is not a quiet place. It was a Saturday night when we were here, but it was loud.Overall not a bad place, would come back.“

“We lucked out and came on the last Saturday of the month when the dueling pianos duke it out vocally and musically and they delivered for us and our kids. They played crowd favorites and kid favorites. Not a lot of places you can hear Sweet Caroline followed by Peaches from Super Mario Brothers. The service was great too. “I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! “Not sure why we have not been to the Social List restaurant located on the Retro Row community of Long Beach, CA. But now that we have we are Ecstatic. They have delicious cocktails to enjoy. They even offer you the opportunity to purchase a bottle , have them make drinks from it and they will store it for you in the liquor cabinet for your next visit. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a tranquil afternoon people watching. We will definitely be back. See you there.“

“Amazing drinks!!! I went about 5 times during the Christmas holiday set up. Definitely go early before the rush. You can chit chat with bartender and sip on your drinks. When busy, there is a huge line to order. Not the best. I was sipping in my drink while boyfriend waited in line. I was finished with one before he brought out our second round. Will say, this happens when they book the back or side for private party's. This place is a staple for us. We have gone back after holidays and will continue going.“

“I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)“

“Easily one of the best experiences in a long time. We live in the area and have wanted to try this place for a long time. Josh as a host was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. He was so friendly and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Ricardo was our server and we found he had been there fore 23 years. He was so nice and kind. The food is incredible. We had the shrimp cocktail to start, which was great. Then we ordered the famous burger and the prime rib. Both were amazing. We also had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was so great, and all of the other tables were filled with what felt like regulars. Don't let the outside turn you off. Once you enter, you'll be treated to a great evening.“

“Had the waiter paid more attention to his customers than his friend at the bar, I would have given more stars.Requested Coke, got Pepsi. Asked for grilled shrimp, got fried shrimp. Asked to hold the cabbage, guess what ? Tacos arrived covered in cabbage. Food was very good despite server messing up the entire order. Look after your customers not your friends sitting at the bar.“
