“Been here a bunch of times. Great custom cocktails all their own plus all the classics. They probably have every type of liquor you can think of. Great service--they always hand you a menu as soon as you come in the door. Order your drinks at the bar--might have to work you way between people sitting at the bar. They don't take orders from the seating area, I've seen people leave thinking they are not getting served. Just order at the bar. Good drinks and good wine and beer options too. NOT a great place for large groups.“

“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. I do wish our drinks had been refilled more frequently, especially since I do not drink alcohol and relied more on my regular beverage. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food served, and the portions were generous. There was also plenty of parking, which made the visit easy and convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a pleasant experience.“

“Just went to blondies yesterday! Saturday night around 9:30 pm. It's a nice bar! More standing space than seating. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“

“Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. “This place is really growing. I went to their opening and since then started going to the weekly trivia events. It’s a really fun brewery atmosphere, lowkey local and good beer on tap. On the Tuesday trivia nights they have a food truck come. Definitely a great addition to the downtown San Pedro area.“

The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“
