“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“

“Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. The ladies who run it are very hospitable And will bend over backwards to make your time there something to talk about. Very talented and charismatic bartenders as well.“

“We stopped in for a cocktail, and Gina, the hostess, kindly found us seats at the bar. We had a wonderful time meeting Terry, the owner, Miguel, the bartender, and Jessica. The entire longtime staff was warm and welcoming.

We ended up staying for dinner and enjoyed the filet mignon and lobster, two of their soups, along with a nice glass of wine and a refreshing spritzer. Great food, terrific service, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

“Wow! What a fantastic experience. First, I need to touch upon the fact that Rosa was absolutely incredible. I was the only one in the lounge on a Monday evening, and she took the best care of me. She explained everything about Kava and answered all my questions, she is clearly very educated on the root. She was such a doll. And then Josh came in for his shift and again, couldn't be more impressed! An intelligent, kind man whom I had great conversation.

The Kava itself was of the purest form and delicious. My favorite combo is the coconut cream and chai. I felt great drinking it.

The vibes were immaculate. So relaxing, great music. Comfortable seating. Can't wait to return.“

It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!“
