“Second time at the Bike Shed Motto Co. with my friends, celebrating their last day in LA.

I got parmesan truffle fries ??‍ , and I asked if they could add garlic, and they were more than accommodating, which I was very grateful for. I was also not drinking. So I got a nice guava mocktail?. I was really looking forward towards a tiramisu, but sadly, they didn't have any, but the vegan apple crumble was also a very good alternative.

The place is very nice and cozy. They have different sections in the restaurant. They even have a barber shop. One of the showrooms usually has motorcycles and even produces events in their next door area.“

“The food was super delicious. We got the spicy chicken sandwich, the French dip, the burger, and the cherry-huckleberry pie. All were exceptionally delicious. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. They charge for refills on drinks (cokes and diet cokes) and the waiter took forever to do anything. For reference, there were three groups seated in the restaurant at the time we went. We thought he might have been new, which is understandable, but it was crazy slow even for a newbie.“

What we didn’t expect was to be blown away by their variety of food options, from fried bar bites to comforting entrees and everywhere in between. Their KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) was served hot (temperature) from the kitchen with the skin in perfect crispiness and meat so juicy.

But the real star of the meal was their Volcano Beef Stirfry- you know it’s the dish to get when you see it served to every table! Be warned: the spice level is no joke here. We ordered with a level 1 out of 4 spice and that was perfect amount for me (and I can handle ??)

“Neighborhood spot attached to a pastrami place. Closes a little early and errs on the pricey side considering its proximity to excellent (also pricey) late night food. Absolutely beautiful interior always playing old movies and current sports. Insanely underused and gigantic patio outside with a roaring firepit and plenty of tables. I really hope more people start hanging out here! It's pretty silent on weekdays and I've never seen it packed.“

“I don't drink anymore, but when I did, this place had a great selection and still does. I mostly come for the music now, which is great because the shows start early and end early. I can walk here, but if you're driving, I would get there early as parking can be difficult as it is all over Long Beach. The bartenders here are great as well. Paul is one of the best.“

Parking: The parking is inside the main structure by the stop light. It was nice and new!

If there was one thing I would do though is place a camera over the pool table so everyone can enjoy league nights, it gets a lil cramped and it’s difficult to watch the game from afar.“

“One of the best pastrami dipped sandwiches I have ever had. I would come eat here every chance I got while working on this side of town. Nice diner style restaurant. Has been here for years. “Small little joint. The atmosphere was pretty chill. I went during a Dodger game night so it was packed with Dodger fans. They had a DJ playing some tunes, people were either dancing, talking, laughing, or playing pool. Yes, there is a pool table, but I didn't really get a good view of that part of the bar. I just noticed there were people playing as well. There aren't too many seats available fyi, oh and also, the parking is located in the back of the bar because it sits right on Firestone Blvd.“
