“This place was banging! Dri KS came out fast and the vibe was nuts. Different types of crowds came pouring in: from the drunk chick's falling asleep on the tables to an all leather crew that just chilled in a corner. It was loud, busy, and fun. Great time.

“My husband and I went there tonight, for Valentine's Day. We had the Steak/Salmon special. This ribeye was the BEST steak I've had in my life. So tender and so tasty!!! The salmon was wonderful, so delicious! I totally recommend their food. Yes, their prices are high, but you're getting the best food possible. And, really, on a special occasion, it's worth it to enjoy delicious food and great service!! Thank you, Verdugos, for a great Valentine's dinner!! We pray you are the most successful restaurant in Downey!“

“First time here and we had a blast!! The bottle service was the best we didnt have to keep finding our host at all they kept coming by making sure we were good, clearing our tables and making sure we had everything we needed!! “This was my first time at Temple Cantina, and I had such a great experience! The food was absolutely amazing—everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully prepared. On top of that, our server Fabian made the night even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave excellent drink recommendations that we really enjoyed. Overall, great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing“
