“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“The atmosphere is amazing. The front of the restaurant looks like an old timey diner that has been very well maintained but not remodeled (which is a good thing). In the back is a bar which is quite intimate and a nice place to have a late breakfast on a Sunday morning.“

Only complaint is that the meat was too thick for me also it looked a little too real but I was assured that it was plant based . Katia was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Since it was our first time, she walked over, made great suggestions, and made sure we felt comfortable ordering. Her customer service was genuine and attentive without being overwhelming — you can tell she truly cares about her guests.

Leo, the cook, even checked on our food himself, which we really appreciated. The food came out HOT — and honestly, that’s a good problem to have! It was fresh, flavorful, and excellent quality. Everything tasted amazing.

“Well it been while I been to Sizzler since it was remodel the food is good I wish they have more choices and jello on unlimited salad bar it was fourth of July we were visit my father in skilled
nursing home so mom and I were hungry so we stop at Sizzler it was kinda slow there business wise we were happy get a seat does get business on the weekend food was good we have as I had Chicken noodle soup and my mom have menundo and salad and some taco with all trimmings chicken wings and service was excellent huge shoutout to Downey staff at this Sizzler restaurant“
