At first I was discouraged because as we all know all agencies always say that when they turn you down, however after a few days Sol called me to inform I was still in her radar and when something became available she would call. It proves to say she is genuinely there to help and is great at what she does. A week later here I am employed! Thank you Sol for all your support! “Just a regular business park sandwich shop. Girl working was very nice and the store was clean.They got my sandwich wrong 2 times, they let me keep the 1st one but I didn't bother mentioning the 2nd wrong sandwich as I didn't have time for a remake.“

“I'm vegetarian and appreciate the options anywhere I can get them. I've only been here for the sandwiches, the Hancock St and Eggplant Parm sammies, both are delicious and hit the void in my tummy for a decent sandwich. They also have salads, sides, pasta and pizza veggie options but that's not what I was here for lol although I'm sure they're all also delicious. My only wish for this place would be an additional veggie sandwich.

“Well let see i went around 11:30 ish sat at the bar. The girl/ bartender was great and friendly. I think her name is Jessica C ( at least that’s what my receipt says?) Drinks were on point! Definitely recommend going around this time.“

“My family took me out for an early birthday celebration. I really enjoyed the food, the attentive service, and the environment. The scenery overlooking the harbor was an added plus. I tried to get good pics before we all started eating. Lol, not everyone cooperated. Mom and I had the Salmon dish. The pickled cucumbers were tasty but a little spicy for me. My husband had the shrimp salad, daughter had a pasta dish, and future son in law had the steak dish. All five different dishes are highly recommended. Great variety of everyday food with a twist if something special. The chef knows what she or he is doing. Worth the money in my opinion and the portions were great. We couldn't eat it all and took some home with us.“

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“Every time I visit OC, I make sure to stop by this place and have some breakfast around 1 pm ?

Portions of the food is great and food is super tasty. Can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Not to mention staff is fantastic.

Side note: if you like, you can take your pet with you and sit outside and enjoy breakfast with your four legged friends “

“This morning I had an amazing waitress, her name is Michelle. She was pretty busy but she did a wonderful job giving good service and seemed positive instead of being stressed. She was on it and hustling. I was impressed to see her working at a fast pace and yet still giving her tables all the attention they needed. She is definitely a hardworking young lady.“

“Food is always delicious, but there's two ladies that work here that are always rude. The older lady that sits you down always has a serious face and looks bothered by large groups. Then, there's a young lady that usually charges you and also has a bothered looking face; the same young lady that for being in a bad mood charged us the wrong table one time and had to get her manager to process a refund of almost $100. It was only then her attitude changed. As for the other workers, they are always super friendly and welcoming!“

“I already had my Thanksgiving on Tuesday so I just wanted to go out to eat on Thanksgiving day and the sizzler restaurant was the only thing opened. I ordered the trio which was ribs, shrimp, and steak and it was so delicious. They didn’t disappoint.. I also ordered the salad bar, which was great and the soups were delicious as well. Everything was so clean as well. I definitely had a nice experience.“

“The best BBQ in LA as they claimed. Everything can be cut with a fork, better yet you dont even need a fork at all. The meats are so juicy and not flooded with BBQ sauce they give you a side to add as you please. Highly recommend this place and I'll be back with the Team! 3 Meat Hungry man “

“This location is small. Expect to wait if you're coming in a big group especially for brunch. The menu for brunch is small. Some good options but limited to 8 dishes or so. They do not do the Unlimited Mimosa drinks with brunch at this location which is not a problem because they have the kit for $30 and you can just be pouring up without having to ask for a refill. Staff was super friendly. Really great service and the ambiance was great.“

“The Broast chicken was tender. The batter could use stronger spices, but in my mind I was comparing it to Pakistani broast which is spicier and served with a garlic sauce.

The Broast potatoes were great as were the fried shrimp and zucchini.

Everything was made when ordered it was all fresh as it can be.

“This little gem feels like an old school drive inn. They have oldies playing and the atmosphere is great! You can order to go or dine in, but let me warn you it can get packed in there!

As for the food, it's amazing! The food comes in big quantities, as you can tell from the images, and yes, it does taste delicious as it looks! Next time we are in town, we will definitely stop by for more!
