“I've been to this location twice and have had a great experience both time. No extra bells and whistles but fast service and great food. Took my daughter to try the om cheese burger and it delivered! She loved it. She went crazy with The mozzarella sticks to see how far they stretched. And oh boy did they stretch. I loved the privacy but the constant check-in from the server and even the manager who is extremely friendly, super nice and crazy attentive made you feel like family. This location is definitely worth checking out if you're on a date or spending family time.“

“I was at Heritage to celebrate a special occasion — the restaurant was cozy and homey. The kitchen was right in front of us, so the whole room was filled with different aromas. Both the service and food were great. The first few courses were delicious, adding a bit of extra excitement to the meal. That said, for a restaurant charging $195/person with a Michelin star, serving food and beverages on a cracked plate and in a chipped cup felt off. When I asked the staff about it, she gave me a smirk and downplayed it with some excuses and brushed it off. Better quality control may be needed as your guests deserve better.“

The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. “I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“I had been wanting to visit Wings Café for quite some time, and it exceeded my expectations.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made the experience unique. Being able to enjoy breakfast while watching the activity around the airport was something my kids and I really enjoyed. The omelets, eggs, and hash browns were delicious, and the portions were generous.

As an added bonus, there was a classic car show taking place during our visit, which made the day even more memorable.

“I stopped by Lazy Dog on the second day of my LA business trip while I was in between checking out of my hotel and waiting for our Airbnb to be ready. It ended up being a really nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

I tried the Bacon Candy, which was probably the most memorable item. The bacon was sweet, slightly spicy, and nicely caramelized from the brown sugar. I had never really had bacon served this way before, so I thought it was very creative and surprisingly addictive.

I also ordered the Chuckwagon Flat Iron Steak, and it was excellent. The steak was flavorful and nicely grilled, and the smoked chili butter and crispy onion straws made it even better.

There’s also a Lazy Dog near where I live, so this wasn’t my first time dining with them. What impressed me was how consistent the quality was. Even while traveling, the food and overall experience were just as good as what I’m used to back home.

Lazy Dog has always been very consistent for me, and this visit was another good example of that. Comfortable atmosphere, good service, and really solid food. I would definitely come back again.“
