“Had an amazing time during our visit to La Jara Brewery in Norwalk, their beer selection is amazing, the Anabelle and the Golden Girlz had to be our favorites. We started with the sampler to try them out first. But couldn't resist getting a couple of rounds. ?. Watsons Pizza and a Fish Taco vendors are onsite offering their amazing dishes that go well with the La Jara Brewing Beers.”

“We have recently been going to this sushi it is one of the best sushi place. The sushi’s are super fresh and delicious. It’s a very nice and friendly environment. We love it that it’s so local to us.
P.S. The blue crab rolls are a must.”

“My family and I have been coming here for the past 10 years! My I'll just send is now 9 years old and we have been taking him here on and off since he was a baby. My husband and I have been dating for 11 years before he proposed to me. We both been living together as boyfriend and girlfriend in Norwalk, where we always have lunch or dinner here because it's so close to home... We literally live behind this place about a few blocks down. It's our go-to restaurant when we both say," don't know what to have, what do you want?" For the past years that we've been coming here, the waitresses have always been so beautiful and very welcoming and kind. Their food changed this year( 2023)... It seems like their shrimp ceviche recipe has changed and the plates have got smaller, and they no longer put the Mexican flag toppers on the burritos to add pizzazz... I think little details like that always makes people want to come back... This year was a different experience for us because the wet burritos were still delicious but the ceviche and seafood was no longer the same... It feels as if They have changed chefs... Either that or management... All in all. We will continue to come here if the food is good... The moment services are no longer good and food no longer good. We will find another spot. Thank you for the many years and memories in this restaurant in Norwalk.”

Myself was meeting a friend there but I'm sure had their been many other patrons they may of walked out. “Me and my husband decided to stop here even after reading the reviews. Let’s start with the good the food was delicious and they kept offering us more meat. If you want a smile or even an acknowledgment that your order was taken this is not the place for you. We asked for more rice and salad I looked over at my husband like did she hear us? Since the waitress didn’t respond, but she did because she gave us the rice and salad right away. The bad and truth in reviews, the gratuity charge is real even for the two of us they charged us 18% making the $22 per person more like $33 after soft drinks and tax. The miso soup was horrible, but the macaroni salad and salad was delicious. Our total bill was $66 for two people with the gratuity charge and two cokes.

I will come back again we usually have to drive an hour each way from downey to Korea town for good Korean bbq at castle bbq, but for a local spot the meat was tasty and well seasoned. If you want a smile or acknowledgment of your order during service or don’t want to pay for added charges without your consent for two people this is not the place for you. If you want good Korean bbq and don’t care about service or $33 per person or having to drive far for good Korean bbq this place is perfect.”

“They specialize in Gorditas and they definitely make a quality Gordita. Super flavorful, the salsa reminds me of the one my mom makes. They have tons of options too, vegetarian (rajas con queso), pescatarian (shrimp and papas), etc. The chorizo and papas and the chile verde were delicious. Love that their chicharrón is a combination of meat, chicharrón, and buche. Highly recommend, just keep in mind if that area is busy especially from the nearby brewery parking is a hassle. Calling ahead would be advised as well since everything is made fresh and takes awhile.

Parking: Was difficult finding parking on the weekend. So keep that in mind.”

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.”

“Come on Now! I hurt my mouth so the only thing I can eat was porridge. But where can I find porridge? I found it here after googling porridge… And it was fantastic. Not “the best” in terms of the fancy restaurant style of rice porridge (juk) but definitely more homey vibes version. Like how your mom or granny would make it.

The banchan (side dishes) were really fresh and a lot of variety. I’m going to try more menu items once my mouth heals.

This place has great comfort foods and classic korean foods most other places don’t have! More authentic. Not your basic trendy Korean spot.

Also, the lady who runs the register and serves is so kind. She is like the best Korean auntie. Just a kind soul.

I will bring my wife and our families (Lord willing)!

They were making the order fast, took like 8mins to get our order. I will say for what we paid total $24 for 2 drinks horchata, 1 jr.burnger with a side of fries and combo #1 , it was enough to fill me up lol they gave us alot of fries :) as you can see in the picture but I will say this the fries weren't that crunchy a bit at the soft side , if they would of let it in the fryer for 2 mins more the fries would of been good :) the burger didn't has that much flavor, but like I said only 1 cook and 1 cashier. He was cooking all the over by himself and had to move a bit quick , respect ?. So I will try it again if I ever pass by that area again. Some people will or will not like it so it's up to you to decide :)

I have been to many jersey mikes and haven't come across an up charge for cheese. The service was great. I see a high chair for little kids here at this location and a handicap ♿️ table. I got a Texas burrito tonight and I asked the cashier if the chicken was good (I usually only get carne asada) and she assured me that I would love it. And I did! Very good shredded chicken inside. The burrito was a decent size. There is a little salsa bar with chips that you can take to go. Loved both of the red salsas. The green salsa was very good too but just a tad too salty. It appears these salsas are made there which is extra points. I'm tired of all these salsas that places serve that seem to come in some giant jug or something. What kind of Mexican places doesn't make their own salsa? I will be back here for sure.”
